Dr. Al-Khouri, Kate, and everyone else at Downtown SD Modern Dentistry are absolutely amazing! They were so patient with me and answered any questions I had. I really appreciate the fact that they checked to see if my insurance covered anything that they offered. I couldn’t of asked for a better experience for a dentist! I will definitely be back!

I had an urgent tooth issue and Dr Al-Khouri adjusted her schedule and got me an appointment within an hour. Very professional from check in (Jasmean? – excellent) to examination to care. Tiffany did an awesome job. Great care. Thanks for saving my trip/conference.

I can’t thank Downtown SD Modern Dentistry enough. They were there for me in a pinch when one of my teeth fell out of my partial.. I was frantic. I only had my temp partial to wear and it was actual useless for eating or talking. I wore it only for looks and was worried how long I was going to be without my partial.  The office staff was kind and understanding to my plight. I really haven’t met better people than the ones in this dentist office. One of the office staff in particular Cullen was compassionate and showed so much understanding it brought tears to my eyes.  It didn’t even take 1 week and I have my partial back. Dr. Al-Khouri has to be one of the best dentists I’ve ever come across. Can’t say enough about her professionalism.
If your looking for a dentist in the San Diego area I would highly recommend this one. Their was work was impeccable. I believe you won’t find a more understanding dentist office.

This is seriously the best dentist experience I have ever had, in my entire life. Staff is amazing and friendly, always in a rad mood, they remember your name and make your visit very comfortable and easy going. I personally HATE going to the dentist but Dr. Christine Al-Khouri is hands down the greatest, made my entire visit delightful, I didn’t even feel like I was at the dentist. Quick, easy and pain-free and she was always very attentive to my needs. The office is amazing, they have all the tools they need to get everything done for you right there! No need to wait 2 weeks for crowns or bridges, etc. all done in one visit. Everything is super high tech and modern and you feel like they know what they are doing, from the moment you walk in the door. They are on point with appointments and reminders, prices are amazing and they work with you if you are on a budget, don’t try to scam you and always focus on priorities rather than what will pay more. Totally 100% recommend this place to everyone! You will never go to another dentist again, I won’t.

I am very impressed with Downtown SD Modern Dentistry!  The employees (e.g. Cullen, Christine, Alma, and Yousif) that I met there are extremely welcoming and patient.  The equipment and laboratories are brand new and the place seems very relaxing for a dentistry.  Dr. Al-Khouri is a very effective, professional, and amiable dentist.  She promptly gave me a detailed diagnosis after the digital x-ray and answered my various questions.  During a root canal procedure, she made sure that I was comfortable and would mention what she was doing along the way.  The procedure was painless and I was in and out the door in 1.5 hours.

IMO you won’t find a better dental office than Downtown SD Modern Dentistry. It’s state-of-the-art technology. I went in at 3pm and left at 5:40pm with a new crown that was expertly designed & comfortable. You won’t find a better dentist than Dr. Al-Khouri. She is super-smart, very skilled, knowledgable, and explains everything with wonderful clarity. After determining what I needed, a list of options was presented to me, complete with what my benefits plan would pick up.  The entire end-to-end experience couldn’t have been better. They are clearly committed to process design, whereas other offices just let it happen. These guys are super-organized and have really thought about the process, from the patient perspective (and I been involved in experience design for years)

It took me a little while to find a dentist in San Diego, When I did, last July, I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Al-Khouri is amazing. I saw two other dentists who tried to upsell/deceive. She is very open and honest and conservative in her approach–she won’t recommend anything you don’t need while also doing an amazing job in preventing future issues. The whole staff is very kind as well.

Dr. Al-Khouri is the epitome of professionalism and customer care. You are in good hands when you visit this team. The front desk staff are friendly. The building is clean and modern. And the the doctor is honest and helpful. I was told I had a good set of teeth and Dr. Al-Khouri said no work would be needed. I was offered a night mouthguard to stop my night-time teeth grinding (which partners have confirmed I do) and told to floss as there was a small dark patch emerging between two of my molars. After the clean and after they took the cast of my mouth for the guard I was good to go. The whole visit was no longer than an hour from entering the practise to paying the bill. I highly recommend this dentistry practise to all.

Dr. Al-Khouri and her staff are efficient, friendly, professional and gentle.  I was very impressed that they were able to diagnose and treat my cracked tooth with a new crown in one visit.  They seem to have all the latest technology and the fees are reasonable.  It’s hard to switch dentists, but I feel I landed in good hands.  The office spaces are very clean.

Such a pleasure to visit Dental Professionals that have great energy, great technical skills, and such a warm and friendly vibe. Every team member wants to make sure your visit is pleasurable and rewarding. A big THANK YOU for continuing to help me out in a crunch….. (see what I did there 🙂 )

I came in last week as a first time patient. This isn’t your normal dental office. Be prepared to meet some extremely nice people and make some new friends. Dr. Al-khouri was wonderful and walked me through the treatment I needed in detail. I never knew dentistry could be so easy and comfortable until I met Dr.Al-khouri. Injections have always made me slightly nervous and I was shocked and grateful how pain free she made it. I will be back every six months! Special thanks to Cullen and Nicci upfront for helping me with the smile generation financing. Zero interest!!! I know no longer have to worry about how I will pay/afford dental treatment with 12 months interest free. Thank you again Downtown SD Dental, you have restored my faith in customer service. And that it still exists especially here at your office.

Wondered why my pizza was so cRuNcHy?!! But then I quickly realized I was eating part of my broken bridge! A BIG THANK YOU to the Manager Mike for squeezing me into their office for an urgent fix before I took off for vacay same week. I would have been quite miserable at Disney World if I couldn’t eat. Also thank you to RDA Denise for her time, talent and patience perfecting the temp bridge fit! (I will give 10 extra stars to compensate for someone I may/may not have displaced for 15min) THANK YOU also to RDA Ale (Alejandra). You are also very detail oriented, down to earth & knowledgeable. Time goes by so fast with you around & I always look forward to talking to you when you are there. My 2nd temp bridge after fitting is SOLID! BIGGEST THANK YOU & BIG BEAR HUGS to Dr. Al-Khouri for making it another pain-free experience. I think my PTSD from previous dentists stopped because I can now sit still without the palpitations, anxiety,  sweaty palms & shaking I used to have with other dentists. Makes me cry happy tears to know how well I trust her.
