I found Dr. Backiel’s office after completing an online search for a dental office near my work, but I have continued to use Dr. Backiel because I feel like a valued customer. Not only was I blown away by the service and care of the front desk staff, I was also impressed with the level of care and explanation by the staff who helped Dr. Backiel complete the root canals and fillings I needed. My saying I do not like to go to the dentist is an understatement, but I can say Dr. Backiel’s special assistant, Dakota, makes things bearable when she’s around. Somehow, looking into her little eyes makes me feel more relaxed. Dr. Backiel’s office provides great service before, during, and after treatment. It feels good to know that someone will call to ask how I’m feeling and to make sure everything is okay. I like the office so much, I’ve just added my teen children as patients. Thanks, Dr. Backiel, for all you do. I appreciate you.

I recently had a visit at the office and I could not be happier with my treatment! During times of this pandemic, it is comforting to see the plans in place to have a safe and clean environment, and that is how the office is set. I was greeted by reception and after a short wait, I was taken back by the hygienist, Shannon, who did a great job of easing my stress and performing a thorough examination. Dr. Backiel was responsive to my needs, had great knowledge, answered all of my questions, and appointed me to a quick follow-up where the EFDA, Peter, was a magician at helping renew a crown on my front tooth. Overall, the fears I had of going to the dentist were alleviated and I will continue to use this practice for my dental visits from this point on.

I usually don’t like going to the dentist, like most people, but Dr. Backiel and all of the staff makes you immediately feel comforted. Everyone is so nice and real with you, great atmosphere. They do an excellent job with their services, never putting me into pain or discomfort… I never want to go to another dentist again! I moved to Denver and even scheduled an appt with Backiel while I was in Philly for a work trip..and they were able to fit me in very quickly. Love this place! Highly recommend!

My wife and I travelled from Connecticut to see Dr. Backiel, given my wife has some complicated dental issues. Dr. Backiel, her staff, and her colleaugues are highly trained, and allowed us to see a number of dental experts in a single visit. They all did amazing work, and they gave us the best advice of all the dentists we got opinions from. But, beyond the great work, the patient care was phenomenal. Everyone explained the dental issues very well. Everyone was extraordinarily caring, and they worked very hard to accomodate our schedule. Her office has current equipment and is very comfortable. They make their patients feel like they are safe and are in good hands.

I read a lot of bad reviews after I already had my appointment about how Dr. B. tries to redo your whole mouth. I found that she made some suggestions which I think is ok but when I was not interested, I was not pushed at all. I thought everyone there was very friendly , especially , Jose and the techs who worked on me. The financial person was a little curt with me but that was the only negative. I was very happy with the work that Dr. Backiel and the techs did on me . I got a crown and it is great. I had been biting my inner cheek on that side for years and now with the new crown it straightened out my bite and I can close my mouth without biting my cheek. I did not even discuss this with her and just because of her knowledge she made the crown in a way that gave me a better bite. So I am very happy that I did not pay attention to the negativity and I went to Dr. Backiel.

Dr Backiel and her staff are amazing! Dr Backiel creatively fixed a front veneer that broke off when I was in Europe. It turned out perfectly! She was able to save the veneer, working with me on pricing as I was uninsured; helping me make the veneer last util my insurance kicks in. I have been seeing her and her staff for over 5 years now and would never go anywhere else.

Dr. Backiel and her associates did a fantastic job on my teeth. I stumbled upon her office one day (I was away from my usual dentist of 20+ years because I was too far from him) so I found and went to her. She unlike other dentists, motivates you to take care of your teeth and takes the time to explain why. I have been to other dentists that work on your teeth and send you out, just telling you when you need to come back. When asking questions they are very short.  However, Dr. Backiel takes her job very seriously and actually cared about my questions and gave me a thorough explanation although she didn’t have to. While returning to my other dentist he noticed I had work done and when he asked me who, I told him “Dr. Deborah Backiel”, at hearing this he said he knew her, and that “She’s also very good”….I was quite surprised, I guess perfection recognizes perfection as I have had my dentist since I was 8 yrs old. I now have 2 dentists I can trust with my teeth depending on the area I am working.

If you told me at any time during my teeth having life that I would leave a 5 Star review for a dentist I wouldn’t have believed you – yet here we are. Dr. B and her team are fantastic! Waiting room is nice (bonus: great music playlist too) and staff are always pleasant. I get cleanings every 3-4 months and I am always pleased with my experience at Backiel and Associates when I leave. The techs are kind, quick, and gentle. Dr. Backiel is friendly and down to earth and uses up to date technology. She’s a straight shooter. All around fantastic practice. Also – Dr. B’s pup is adorable and in the office frequently. No more dentist scaries when coming here!

I’m a patient for life now. The entire staff is engaging and professional. They were VERY clear with my bill on what exactly would be covered by my insurance and what is my responsibility. They gave me several levels of treatment from immediate (root canal for a painful tooth) through cosmetics for some teeth whitening. This place really is the total package and I’m so glad I looked around and found Dr. Backiel.
