Dr. Fairfax and her staff are top-notch. They are professional, friendly, and truly amazing. My family has been going to Dr. Fairfax for a few years with never a problem. So when my mother, who is 78 years old started having serious dental pain, which required a ER visit – I called her office and got an appointment immediately. Upon arriving they offered us water and was seen within 5 minutes. Dr. Fairfax took the time to listen to her concerns, which made her feel so comfortable. Upon leaving my mother said, she is so nice I feel so much better. Dr. Fairfax and staff thanks for taking care of my Mom!!!! PSS – I did finally get my Hamilton tickets after being on wait for 8 hours!!!!

I have been going to Dr. Fairfax since she took over the practice from Dr. Sherman. She and her staff are excellent –in addition to regular cleanings, I have had several dental procedures done. Dr. Fairfax minimizes pain –important for me–and is absolutely sure of herself when she is working inside my mouth. I could not ask for better care. I agree with steve in the aspect that she is nice, she seems like a great person. I can’t disagree with steve more when he says that she isnt good. She might be young, but she is one of the best dentist I’ve been too. Her work is very good and the fillings that i had done were painless and when you look at them you can’t even tell which tooth she worked on because she didnt a great job at blending it to match the other teeth and look normal. My mom also had a root canal done by Dr. Fairfax and it has relieved her of her pain and she has yet to experience any problems.

She took me the next day to address a concern I had about jaw pain. She was very conscientious in assessing the situation, and correctly determined the cause and the curative response. She was quite patient given that I was letting my imagination run away with me as to likely causes for my discomfort. The photos above of her “whole team” need updating because, as far as I have seen in 4 visits there, only Dr. Fairfax is still there among those pictured. Her hygienist is the best I have ever had – it is like going to a periodontist – very thorough and expert in handing this aspect of patient care, plus English as a first language which I haven’t had with a dental hygienist for years now, so I don’t have to keep saying “What?”. Wish she was there for 5 days a week rather than 3.5, but I guess even dentists get to have a life. 🙂

the address that may show up in your GPS may take you past the Circle Towers on Lee Highway. If you aren’t sure, call the office (like I had to do) and ask for the exact location. This was my first visit to this office. It’s probably one of the most thorough analysis of my teeth I’ve had (I’m a regular 6-8 per visit to the dentist type of person…. though this year, I’ve slacked off, until now). When I made my appointment on the phone, I was emailed paperwork to fill out before I arrived (YAY, for efficiency)! I asked about insurance and was given options for payment (what they offered, what network they are in with insurance providers, etc.). I arrived on time. Amy was super nice and gentle with my teeth. She did all of the measurements, took pictures, explained what they saw (on the screen) with me, gave options, etc. After Amy’s analysis, Dr. Fairfax came in and further explained next steps and did her analysis of my mouth and teeth. The entire staff was very nice. The office was well-laid out and clean. It was a very good visit.

I was originally with the dentist whose practice she took over and the bar was set very high because he was great. But I am very happy to report that I have had a wonderful experience with her and her staff, and am now a loyal client. I even drive from NC at this point to keep seeing her. Her office has a warm and friendly family environment (some of whom work there) and she does excellent work, as does her support staff. She is sincere and has a great bedside manner, which was much appreciated during my procedures for crowns that I recently had put on. She even made a special trip back to the office after hours (with her family in the car after a soccer practice) so I could get the laptop out of her office that I had left there accidentally…with a smile on her face I might add! I am very appreciative of the opportunity to work with her and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Ok, so I’ll start off by saying that I have switched dentists about three times since moving to northern Virginia in 2012. I had a dentist in Fairfax for a few years who was fantastic and was open on Saturdays, but he moved to Atlanta. I found another dentist in Alexandria, but I wasn’t happy with her. I found Dr. Fairfax about almost two years ago, and I couldn’t be happier. Her team is awesome. They are always polite and helpful.
