My husband and I started visiting Dr. Speck’s office 1.5 years ago, seeing Dr. Rachel Speck. The office is close to our home and they offer early morning appointments which really helps. I can go there without missing time at work. I was always scared visiting a dentist. However Dr. Rachel Speck is very calm and took away that fear. She is kind, cautious and took my concerns very seriously. I like her straight forward way to work. She and her father seem to be very down to earth and their staff is nice. Also I like that this is a family business. Their office is clean, has a great view and no frills which I personally like very much. She will not talk you into stuff you don’t need. They play really nice music in the waiting area. Highly recommend them!

For years, I avoided the dentist. Now, I’m happy to go to my twice yearly cleanings. Dr. Speck is gentle and loves to tell stories while he cleans my teeth himself. He points out what I need to pay attention to in my mouth, but doesn’t nag. Best dentist ever!

My family and I have been going to Dr Speck for several years. I love that his daughter joined the practice too – she is my primary dentist now. Cleanings are super efficient yet thorough (one time I was in and out in 20 minutes!!). They always have the most updated equipment. Got a filling today (my first one ever. Sad face) and it was quick and painless.

I was recommended to Dr. Speck by my uncle and cousin. They had high praise for the pair and I was intrigued that they would drive 30+ minutes to go to the dentist. I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Rachel Speck. She was straight forward and considered what would be covered by my insurance prior to working on me. I had visited another dentist in mid-October, so my X-rays and bite wings weren’t covered. She skipped that and proceeded with the exam and cleaning because the last dentist had opted out of the cleaning. She was really efficient and easy to work with. They had great appointment availability (because I wanted to come in at 6 am, which was fantastic). The office is no-frills, which I think is awesome. There are no TVs on swinging arms and the decor is simple. I would say if you want an honest, straight-talking dentist, this is the place to go.

Truly an amazing experience. Dr. Rachel Speck is great at what she does: she’s knowledgeable, focused, and friendly. Unlike with other dentists, where the assistants do everything and the dentist just sees you for 2 minutes, she herself treats you. Early morning hours are very convenient if you live nearby.

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Rachel Speck is a 2014 graduate of the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston with a long history in the field. She is a fourth generation dentist that grew up in the Houston area, working as both a registered dental assistant and front office manager for Dr. Mark Speck. She gained valuable experience working in a real dental office between undergraduate semesters at Texas Tech University where she studied Psychology and Chemistry. During her education, she was an active member of the Pre-Dental society and the Texas Tech Goin' Band From Raiderland. She is passionate about the field of dentistry and diligent about keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Rachel Speck is currently pursuing her Fellowship degree in the Academy of General Dentistry. To help out with the community, Dr. Rachel Speck volunteers with Give Kids a Smile program and Texas Mission of Mercy.
