It’s not easy finding a dentist you’re comfortable with, but I’m so glad I found Dr. Dyer! My cleaning and check-up were thorough, and almost no wait time in the waiting room! I also got a filling a few weeks later. Quick and painless. I recommended him to my octogenarian grandparents who had recently moved to the area and had tried out another dentist, who charged exorbitant fees and told my grandma she had two cavities. When Dr. Dyer did get check-up and x-rays, no cavities were found! Kudos to Dr. Dyer and his staff for providing comfortable, affordable, painless, and honest service.

I moved to Elizabethtown for a new job several years ago and got dental insurance for the first time ever. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and was freaked out about going. Reviews I found online were great, so I gave Dr. Dyer’s office a call. So glad I did! Everyone in the office is great! Dr. Dyer sees every patient, not other dentists. He’s even done some of my cleanings over the years if they’ve been busy. I knew I needed fillings before my first visit and he didn’t try to make me feel bad or weird about it – he understood that sometimes you can’t go to the dentist for whatever reason and that his job was to help improve my oral health now, not criticize. I knew I needed braces because my teeth weren’t straight, but he advised me about when I needed them based on my teeth and told me why – and it wasn’t cosmetic, but to actually prevent two crowded teeth from becoming lose and falling out as I get older. Scary, but who knows how long I would have put off getting braces if I kept thinking my need was purely cosmetic? My visits for cleanings and fillings have always been pleasant, considering. (Even when I had braces everything went smoothly!) After the first couple of fillings I realized that there wasn’t anything to worry about and haven’t had any problems. I’ve been going to the office since 2010-2011 sometime and recently convinced my husband to switch to their office from another local dentist and he loves it too! Can’t recommend Dyer Family Dentistry enough if you’re in search of a dentist!

If you want a professional, worry-free trip to the Dentist, this is your place. After moving to Louisville last year I chose a new Dentist in the area to have some cavities filled. A few days later I was still in excruciating pain, so I called Dr. Dyer who agreed to see me the very same day and my pain was gone. My wife and I now happily make the trip from Louisville to Elizabethtown for all of our dental needs.

My son had an accident this past weekend. My son’s mother contacted and sent pics of my sons mouth injury to Dr. Dyer. He went above and beyond to give me and his mother his best advice. Not many times do I feel the need to walk back into a dentist’s office and shake a dentist’s hand, I did this night. The care and concern he showed about my son made me respect this man not only as a dentist but as a man and a father.
