My life didn’t actually start until I walked into East Cooper Dental. I was about 3 years ago when I met Dr Warner. I have been battling an eating disorder since age 10. My teeth were a MESS. Throughout he 3 years, Dr Warner has worked with me to try to stabilize what teeth I had left and he did it with the most amazing care and comfort for me….NOT an easy job! Well, forward to October of this year….I just turned 36 and my teeth were beyond salvageable. On Oct 29th, 2017, I had all my remaining teeth removed. Yes, I was only 36, and I was getting ready to live with dentures. In this whole world, I could not have picked a more qualified and compassionate dentist and staff to help me in this point of life. I have been suffering from dental issues since age 3, and I have never met a more caring and supportive dentist and staff than East Cooper Dental. It has been a very big ordeal but I am so proud to say that on Dec 20th, I will be getting my brand new teeth!!! 26 years of embarrassment and pain have ended! Thank you Dr Warner and staff AND Dr Barefoot and staff!… My life can NOW begin!

For me there are two things that I was looking for when I was researching the best dentist in Charleston area: they have to take my insurance and they have to have good reviews, hence people like them and are eager to spend 5 min of their time reviewing them online. East Cooper Dental had very good reviews and I wasn’t disappointed when I tried them. Dr. Warner was accommodating of my schedule and did an amazing job on all my fillings and front teeth. He is a truly compassionate person, which is a rare feature among dentists. The staff was amazing too: the hygienist spent more than an hour for the first time with me; assistants held my hand during teeth extractions; front office staff (Shannon and Carol) made it easy to make/reschedule appointments and handle insurance claims. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of work was beyond expectations. I highly recommend this practice for all your dental needs.

Imagine this. You wake up on a Saturday morning and you can’t even tolerate the pain while drinking a cup of water. You know a nerve is exposed. You haven’t seen the dentist in years. Oh no!! I called East Cooper Dental first thing on Monday, and due to the urgency they were able to see me and I was out before lunch! Dr. Warner and his staff were great in how they were able to remedy my pain immediately (without drugs), they were able to fit me in even though they are very much in demand, they were thorough, and all in a relaxed environment. I found my new dental practice!

This is the most amazing dental office and staff I have ever met! Cynde is truly an amazing hygienist. The doctors and staff are always up to date on all the latest and greatest procedures, products and information on new treatments. From the reminder calls and flexible appointment times to entering the front door always greeted with a hello and a smile. Time and effort is spent on always delivering the best quality cleaning and dental work necessary for my six month visits! I have been in the dental field myself for 25 years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. My family comes here as well. I send every one who asks where the best dentist and hygienist is in Charleston and always send them to Dr. Warner and Cynde. She is always upbeat and takes great pride in a job done with perfection. You will always leave smiling and knowing your dental health is in great hands.

My husband and I moved to the area from NYC in May 2009 to start our family.  We sadly left our dentist behind in hopes of being able to find someone here.  The search seemed never ending since the Charleston area is totally full of practices.  I came across this practice online and decided to give it a shot.  They’re amazing!  All of the staff was so welcoming and treated both of us so well.  They invited my 8 month old along for the next visit…and remembered his name when one of us was back!  Never thought that would happen.  I’ve had horror stories from other dentists in NYC when on the search for someone.  It seems so difficult to find someone trustworthy.  This was such a relief to be able to know my family is in good hands!  I totally recommend Dr. Warner to any new comers.  He’s the best.

East Cooper Dental has been my dentist for years and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Dr Warner and his staff are always pleasant, efficient, and genuinely nice. I’m sure all of the hygienists are amazing individuals, but If you want the best hands working on your teeth, ask for Heather. She’s the best!

I’ve been with Dr. Warner since 2002. Dr. Warner and his team are professional, friendly, and well trained. I moved to Summerville in 2006 but the 25 mile drive is well worth it. I always had a slight fear of dental work so when I found Dr. Warner he set me at ease and I would never think about switching. We now have a running joke that I’m part of the family, they call me “Cousin Pete”.

Dr. Warner is always comforting and compassionate regardless of the situation. He is never judgemental of the condition of my mouth when I show up due to my poor habits (As I am sure we all find ourselves from time to time.) He handled my issue quickly and professionally, and I would highly recommend him whatever your dental needs are. Thank you again, Brian.

After having visited East Cooper Dental over the course of several months now; there are no doubts in my mind that Dr. Jim Warner and his staff are precisely what I’ve been searching for – an office with a nice atmosphere and considerate staff to greet you and explain your insurance/payment options, very professional, caring & compassionate, attentive to all detail, and most considerate with regard to not only your dental needs, but your overall health plays a critical part as well. Honestly, East Cooper Dental is the best I’ve ever visited! And on top of all that – the hygienists are remarkable; kudos to Martha and Anna, who went out of their way to make my visit comfortable, and both had the answers to all my nervous questions. As a patient who has not done the best job at keeping up with my dental hygiene, I was a little apprehensive at the thought of coming into the office earlier today. Upon walking through the door, I instantaneously realized that I had nothing to worry about. The office was comfortable and inviting. The staff was professional and courteous. Lane was my dental hygienist today and she was flawless in everything she did and said. She is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She immediately put me at ease and was able to expertly address all of my concerns. Because of her, I will definitely be back to visit more often. I would highly recommend East Cooper Dental to anyone in Mount Pleasant searching for outstanding dental care.

No one likes going to the dentist especially me. That being said I can’t say enough to convey what a great team Dr Warner has. I’ve had many procedures to take care of my middle aged teeth and usually ran very high with anxiety leading up to appointments but every single time I sat in the chair it was all for nothing. Absolutely no pain and VERY caring Dr and staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My family moved to the area in 2014 and looking for the right dental care wasn’t easy. When we found East Cooper Dental, our search ended. Although it’s not the closest to our home, the staff make it worth the extra drive. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and the cleanings are even fun. I had a procedure done this week that I was dreading, but Dr Warner did a fantastic job and I didn’t feel a thing. Even the recovery was better than I had anticipated. I’ve been going to Dr Warner for over a decade now , he and is staff are always pleasant and very professional to work with ,they’ve always found a way to see me quickly on those rare dental emergencies I’ve had to resolve what is usually a painful issue , highly recommend Dr Warner and his team !

Everyone at East Cooper Dental are so friendly and very professional. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I suffer from TMJ & gum recession sensitivity and have always had anxiety going to the dentist. My first cleaning was with Heather at East Copper and was hands down the best experience I’ve had getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. Warner performed an Occlusal adjustment to help with my TMJ and I’m already feeling the benefits from the procedure. I don’t have that anxiety feeling when visiting East Cooper! I know I’m in good hands!

When I finally found a dentist I could trust it was such a relief after moving to Charleston in 1996. It took me a few years to get to Dr. Warner but he has been my dentist for over 13 years now. We have been through a lot together and there is nothing this Doctor can’t do exceptionally well! He has done a gorgeous job with my veneers and made the experience easy for me as a patient. I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Cynde for over ten years and I always look forward to it. She’s very thorough and has a gentle touch. She’ll even put on whatever kind of music you want to listen to! Not only does East Cooper Dental have an extremely knowledgeable and professional staff but the office is very clean and nice. They even give me a toothbrush when I arrive to brush up before my appointment begins if I request one. This is nice when coming straight from work. I also am without dental insurance and find they make things very affordable for me!

I am a very picky person, especially when it comes to doctors, dentists, and the like. When I find one I like, I stick with them. I have high standards for quality of service and won’t give my business to anyone or any place I don’t feel comfortable. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Warner’s for quite some time now, an wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. He’s a really nice guy, great demeanor, caring, and most importantly, excellent at his craft, There’s never really a wait, and the staff are very friendly and professional. I can truly say  that I love everyone there and have zero negative things to say about Dr. Warner or Dr. Kotz and the staff. On a side note, Cynde Austin my Dental Hygienist there, is the ONLY ONE I would see. Not because the others aren’t great, but because she does exceptional work, is WICKED AWESOME, and I actually look forward and enjoy going to see her each time. She’s more than my Dental Hygienist, she’s a friend, and that says a lot about her and about the entire staff. Dr. Warner is a very cool guy as well, and I did get to meet Dr. Kotz, a recent addition there, and was equally pleased and impressed with her. If you want DENTAL EXCELLENCE & AMAZING SERVICES FROM FUN, COOL & PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE, THEN LOOK NO FUTHER. I will never go to another dentist/dental hygenist as long as I live here in Charleston.

I never thought it would be possible, but you CAN have fun at the dentist! The folks at East Cooper really seem to like their jobs and their positivity shines through. Everyone is professional and considerate and … happy. There is a playful energy that really helps ease any nerves you may have about cleaning and fixing your pearly whites. My first visit was unplanned, as I found myself in a mess of pain and needed to see someone quick. I was shocked (and extremely grateful) to get in the same day I called. Since that first visit, I’ve been fortunate (heh) to return three times with future appointments on the books. After avoiding the dentist for YEARS and given the pain I was experiencing, I wasn’t surprised that I needed a root canal and the related procedures. But I was so happy with the way my first visit went that I didn’t mind setting up these appointments. And (gasp) I’m looking forward to them. The office is very clean, modern and has some really great technology. Everyone is awesome about explaining what they’re doing, what things mean, outlining costs, etc. I have no complaints and I can’t recommend them enough.

This dental practice is absolutely outstanding. They have been taking care of my family and I for the past three years and they have been the absolute best. Every staff member is extremely professional, they use all the latest technology in dental equipment and bonding and they are extremely responsive to phone calls, email and text messaging ( I don’t think I have ever even gotten their voicemail out of all the times we have called.) On top of that, their administrative team has been seamless when filing claims to our insurance. I would highly recommend!

I’m so happy I chose Dr. Warner at East Cooper Dental! From the friendly, accommodating ladies up front to his dental hygienist, Erica they’ve all made my experience here amazing. Dr. Warner really listened to what I wanted when it came to straightening my teeth and explained everything thoroughly each visit. I will continue to come here for all my dental needs!

My whole family goes to East Cooper Dental. My 4-year-old son went in today for a cleaning. Our last experience with a different place did not go well, so I was nervous but they did an amazing job with him. They made him comfortable, patiently answered all of his questions and gave him a gift out of their treasure box for not having any cavities. I was thrilled! They do a great job with our whole family!

Today was my first visit at East Cooper Dental, The staff and dentist took their time with my cleaning, they were friendly and professional. I was especially impressed with Carol. She really spent time providing the different treatment plans that best fit my schedule and insurance policy. I really appreciate the time and attention she gave to me. Happy I found a group I really like.
