They are the only dental clinic that was available for me for my emergency toothache…and thankfully i landed at their hands…Dr. Treinkman was so good. I had a root canal and I did not feel any pain whatsoever. I was done with everything in just 3 hours without having to go back again contrary to past root canal procedures wherein you have to finish everything in 3-4 sessions. They are also very efficient and they got the modern technology to give you a fast, painless and non traumatic dental procedure. I would recommend them 100%!

Everyone from front desk, technicians to Dr. Treinkman all professional and very knowledgeable.  I made an appointment on an emergency tooth and they saw me immediately (on  a Saturday) and the procedure was flawless.  So I made an additional appointment for some crown work.  Dr. Trienkman was awesome!  Thank you!

I have visited a few dentist offices, but East Village Dental Centre is by far one of the best in all aspects. The admin staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The dental staff are also great and personable. I have had my 2 kids (under the age of 6) and I here for cleaning and treatments and super impressed of the service. You get real time and visual progress of every stage of treatment. They are great with kids and know how to make them comfortable, removing all anxiety.

I have been going here for years and even as I’ve moved to different parts of the city, I’ve kept them as my dentists. Pragna is AMAZING! I enjoy catching up with her and Charlie is always helpful too. Dr. Treinkman is efficient and a wonderful dentist. Confirming appointments is easy and they are always on their game. Everyone is friendly and professional. Best dental practice in Illinois!!!

There was a very relaxed atmosphere here- no one was in a rush, everyone was focused on the task at hand and not thinking about the many other things on their plates. This does not mean that they weren’t efficient though- my procedure was much quicker than I had anticipated. Everyone was very kind and very capable. My dental work went as smoothly as possible, and Dr. Treinkman was very careful to make me as comfortable as he could. What I appreciated most was everyone’s attitude- I have been to many other dentists who were patronizing and made me feel awful about how much work needed to be done to my teeth. Those dentists made it harder to go back (and it’s already a struggle for me). Everyone here was simply matter-of-fact about what needed to be done- no guilt trips, thank goodness. 🙂 For the first time in many years, I feel comfortable about going to the dentist. I still don’t like it, but East Village made it less unpleasant.

Awesome experience. I had been suffering in extreme pain and desperately needed emergency dental care. I found East Village Dental Centre while googling for help. I submitted a request for an appointment late Thursday and I received a call early Friday asking if I was okay and when I could come in. They even helped arrange getting my insurance information ahead of time so I wouldn’t have to worry about out of pocket costs. All the “new patient” intake forms were easily done online on their secure website. I was able to be seen immediately upon arriving and everyone was exceptionally nice and welcoming. I have a lot of problems and after getting examined and having images taken, my treatment options were thoroughly explained as well as cost of care with & without insurance. I had teeth extracted doing this visit and I didn’t feel a thing. I’ve honestly never felt this comfortable at the dentist ever in my life. I’m very thankful I came here and looking forward to the continued care of my troubled teeth.

If you’ve encountered bad dental services in the past and is skeptical of getting proper dental care. Go to East Village (Gary Treinkman) dental office; they do not disappoint! You will be very pleased with the service. The dental office provided effective dental care and detail information on the treatment needed for my teeth. They have modern technology and explain everything to you that’s going on in your mouth. The prices are pricey paying out of pocket. However, the services provided is above average; compared to any dental offices I’ve been to. You will receive treatment that equates to comprehensive, and equality care. I love this place! Thank you for redoing my cavities the correct way and elevating the pain, preventing me from eating.

Awesome Dental Center. Called with a horrible tooth ache. Made room for me immediately. A few hours later they send me home pain free. I might add they take measures to protect their patients from COVID. When you enter the office, they take your temperature, provide a sink to wash your hands and a solution to rinse your mouth. The staff are friendly.

I love the service that I receive at East Village Dental Center. I have been a patient of Dr Trienkman for at least 10 years. I received Invisalign through Dr Trienkman and the results were wonderful! I love my smile! I have never been disappointed with the quality of his work or the customer service that I have received at the office. My cleanings are great!  Pragna, the dental hygienist is through and professional. The office is modern and very high tech. I love it!

I started going here after my veneer fell out and I needed an urgent appointment. They were able to get me in that same day! The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The dental hygienists who performed my cleaning were also very nice. Dr. Treinkman is great and super nice. Dr. McShane is also excellent, and very personable, even to kids! He is a perfectionist and took his time to make sure my crown fit perfectly and my bite was properly aligned. Their equipment are state of the art and they show you pics of your X-rays, teeth, gums and the inside of your mouth on a big screen so you can really see any inflammation or issues that need work. I’ve needed a lot of dental work throughout my life and have gone to dentists in three different cities, this is definitely the best place I’ve gone to. The only person who made me feel awkward was one of the dental hygienists who came in to discuss my bill…i’ve interacted with her twice. The first time she said my veneers were not very good (they were done out of the country), and when she left the room the other assistant told me that my veneers were just fine. And then the second time she injected the numbing agent and then asked for me to pay for the crown that they were fitting that day. This took me by surprise because I just paid my bill when I checked in. I asked if I can pay it later because I wanted to use my FSA card and I could not check my account on my phone. I told her the front desk has told me before that I can pay online with my card later. And she says they don’t/are not supposed to do it that way. And then she asks if I want to cancel my upcoming appt until I figure things out. It felt very weird like I was trying to scam them and that I was not welcome to come back until I’m sure I had money… I’d be fine if I never have to interact with her again.

Dr. Treinkman and his staff are awesome! They are very patient-focused and use the latest technology to provide great dental care. I had a complex root canal with no pain or discomfort, and the crown was made on-site during my appointment so I walked out of the office with no need for a follow-up appointment. Yay!

My first visit was because their location. Every visit thereafter (8years) was because of there expertiise, customer care and consideration. They want to do what is right for the cutomer’s particular situation, NOT push their services. Big props to Dr. Treinkman and his TEAM, Pragna, Juana and Charlie and many others I have not mentioned.

I had avoided going to the dentist for so long, until 3:00am this morning… I went online and googled 24 hour emergency dentist, called just about every number available and left messages with every call center / voicemail I could. At around 6:45am, delirious from pain, I got a call from Michael and he set me up for an appointment right at 9:00am. Michael could not have been more helpful and understanding in getting me set all set up because at that point, I was in so much pain, I don’t imagine I was being very personable. When I had arrived and filled out paperwork everything there moved like a well oiled machine. Pragna, I believe her name is, was so informative and helpful with choosing the best options for today and following visits. Everything was shown to me and explained to me clearly. The best part of the whole experience was Dr. Treikman. He was so fast and had me in absolutely no pain without having to go under, which was all I could have ever asked for. After leaving messages with all those call centers and voicemails, East Village Dental Centre was the first and only call back I had received. Even at this point. Thank you so much for the amazing service!

I was absolutely terrified to get my wisdom teeth removed and I have to say that I am SO glad I went to this office to have it done.  This was the first time I had ever gotten a shot in my mouth and I have heard that it really hurts.  I was amazed that I barely felt it!  Then, the removal of the wisdom teeth was completely painless because I was totally numb.  It definitely felt weird to hear him pulling out my teeth (cranking and grinding) but it didn’t hurt a bit.  The dentist (Dr. Treinkman) told me was going to do a special kind of extraction to minimize my recovery time.  It must of worked because my recovery went really well.  I didn’t really bleed that much and I was completely back to normal in a couple days.  He prescribed Vikodin for the pain but I didn’t even take it because the ibuprofen I have at home was sufficient.  The next day, Dt. T called me to make sure I was okay.  I could tell that he genuinely cared.

The entire staff here from the front office on back has been nothing but amazing for me. I have major dentist office anxiety and hadn’t been to the dentist in a decade. Sadly, this means I need a lot of work. I had a few anxiety and crying attacks the first few visits and everyone, I mean everyone, was so nice, patient, and accommodating. They gave me the space I needed to calm down without rushing me to “get over it” because they had other patients. No one made me feel bad for not having been in to see a dentist sooner. I never once felt judged or shamed. I highly recommend this place and regret not coming here sooner. I also bring my children here and they are so wonderful and patient with them as well (they talk A LOT). Please don’t go anywhere else. You will have an amazing experience and everyone you talk to will be kind, compassionate, and helpful.

I’m very impressed with the entire staff at East Village Dental Centre. I had a toothache all weekend and when I called Monday morning, they got in within the hour. They didn’t push extraneous services on me, and discussed all my options, answering every last question I had. Prior to doing any work, they made sure I understood how much it was going to cost, what was covered by insurance, and they helped to make sure I was maximizing my benefits. I ended up being at their office for about 3 hours for all the work I needed done, and the staff was friendly the entire time. I’ve seen a lot of dentists over the years. I found East Village Dental Centre on Yelp; usually I find dentists through personal referrals. This is by far the best dental office/staff I’ve been to. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Dr. Treinkman did a fantastic job of explaining the recommendations. His use of technology with photos and 3D rendering was excellent. I have been seeing Dr. Treinkman team for many years for examsand in this case I needed some specialized work The facility is super clean and there is a parking lot with plenty of parking on Ashland. Another nice thing these days is they answer the phone f you need to call. They send out reminders via text which is much better than getting a call. Just want to reiterate that the use of technology for X-rays, photos and 3D rendering is essential these days and East Village Dental is in the game.

Husband and I came here for routine checkup. Managed to squeeze both of us in same day. Super high tech compared to other dentists I’ve been to. They do all sorts of X-rays and pictures, you get to see a 3D reconstruction of your teeth and jaw which is really cool. We saw Dr Treinkman, who was super knowledgeable and wasn’t pushy like others I’ve been to. Highly recommended!
