Dr. Schlesinger is one of the best dentists that I met. I went there for a dental emergency with an extremely painful tooth that he treated right away. He took his time to explain me about my condition. His assistant was understanding and courteous. She put me at ease too. He is laid back, does his work meticulously, gently and perfectly. He is great to make his patients feel they are special. Takes his time with educating the patient. His staff is friendly and professional. In his state of the art office I feel like in a spa. I feel relaxed and confident that I got an excellent care with each visit. His multiple certificates, licenses and awards also speak a lot about his dedication and excellence in dental profession. I am lucky that I met Dr. Schlesinger. I continue to see him regularly with my other dental problems too. I learned new things about dental hygiene and my teeth since starting to visit his office. I am sure I will continue to visit Dr. Schlesinger as my regular dentist as long as I am in NY. I highly recommend Dr. Schlesinger.

Dr. Schlesinger is one of the best dentists I know. He is laid back, calm and very professional. He makes sure that the patient’s experience is completely painless and pleasant. Very detail oriented. Takes his time with a patient to make sure everything done perfectly. He knows nuances of his work better than many other dentists. I learn something new about my teeth with each visit. Very gentle with his procedures and manners. Doesn’t rush, doesn’t force the needle when doing numbing injections or with other instruments. Every time I go there I am sure it will be a relaxing experience. He asks if I want music on each visit and plays great music in his office while doing procedures. It feels like going to a spa (except numb mouth after the visit that is unavoidable for certain dental works of course ). The first time I went to his office was because of a dental emergency. I had the worst toothache of my life after some other dentist’s work who could see me only after days. So that morning I felt I couldn’t bear the pain anymore even with several painkillers. I didn’t know how dental emergency service worked or if there were any. I googled, found one and called. It was some kind of a service taking phone calls and connecting patients with doctors who could see patients on an emergency basis. So, I was lucky that Dr. Schlesinger had an available spot or could fit me in his schedule that noon. He was very pleasant just as I met him. He explained everything and shortly after numbing he started to work on my tooth. I was completely painless leaving his office and the pain never came back. I was very impressed by his chairside manners and professionalism. His state of the art modern equipped office is also unusual for doctors I met in NY city. I didn’t have an insurance the first time. He explained that it would be cheaper with insurance, unlike my previous dentist who ensured the insurance wouldn’t cover the procedures that I needed, anyway. Eventually I went to Dr. Schlesinger’s office again after getting an insurance. He is my favorite doctor now. I still have some work to do on my teeth and will continue to visit him for sure. I highly recommend Dr. Schlesinger.

I was always in total panic when going to the dentist but then I met Dr. Schlesinger. He is direct yet patient. He is so amazing skilled at what he does. I know I can trust him to take good care of me and my family and help coach me through the process of a cleaning or cavity filling. I love the fact that I can rely on his office, especially his admin, to help me get an appt when I need it and be friendly and warm when I walk in. His dental assistants are great too. #So Grateful for my dentist!

He was able to answer all of my questions. He is always very thorough and makes sure that he goes over all the treatment options for a particular situation. He told me that in my case he wanted to find out about the most up-to-date technology. He is an extremely knowledgeable professional.

Dr. Schlesinger is meticulous in detail and proactive in long term approach particularity upon astute assessment of what matter is most imperative within the scope of your dental health. I am typically abrasive to healthcare professionals as I am averse to providing accolades to a science I do not understand, but Dr. Schlesinger’s approach of providing as much information in a clinical manner that is requested, without making the patient feel as if they are a burden is as rare as the quality of his work and follow up is.

I rarely post online reviews but felt obligated to after coming across Dr Schlesinger’s one other google review. He is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and I have proudly been going to him for almost a decade. He has a very soft touch, is very transparent, timely, and makes visiting the dentist as easy as it can be. In regards to pricing, I’ve never had an issue and he was kind enough to allow me to pay in installments when my insurance didn’t cover the amount of work I needed. I suspect the other review might be from a competitor or someone who might be unstable.

Dr. Schlesinger is the Best Dentistry Dr. in NYC. He is Very Knowledgeable & Professional. He is American Board of General Dentistry Certified, Academy of General Dentistry “Master” as well as an “Associate Fellow” in The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, That speaks volumes! I highly recommend Dr. Schlesinger for ALL Your Dental concerns! He is truly the BEST in NYC!

Dr. Schlesinger was very thorough in explaining the dental procedure and any possible pain. He was also very fair in explaining the fee structure for his services. It is clear Dr. Schlesinger knows his profession but also keeps the interests of his patients in mind.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Schlesinger for over 5 years. All of our visits have been extremely positive. Dr. Schlesinger does his own cleanings and they are the best! Dr. Schlesinger is very professional, knowledgeable, gentle and very friendly….A really nice guy who knows his stuff. I love the care package he gives at the end of your visit, so fun to get a little gift ??

I was a very difficult case. Dr. Schlesinger not only did excellent work to fix what was wrong with my teeth, but also worked with my insurance company. His staff is friendly and outgoing and they always make sure that you’re comfortable. (I tend to be a little nervous when I’m at the dentist’s office). I highly recommend him and will be using him for future work that I need done.
