Herd about Ed Family Dentist through a good friend that highly recommended to give him a try. Came in for a simple procedure (cleaning) and was very impressed at the outcome. The place is immaculate , from the latest machines , warm atmosphere , very clean and most importantly the gentle hands of the doctor. What impressed me the most was the one visit root canal machine and the full mouth X-ray machine. As a result, I have brought my brother here that is doing a few root canal’s , my mother and close friends. Even if you are loyal to your dentist – as I was , I would highly recommend to give Ed a try and you’ll notice the difference. The problem I have noticed throughout the years is that Dentist’s don’t like to reinvest in their practice but not this guy. All aspects of Ed’s practice is to make patients experience easier bc let’s face it – who actually enjoys a trip to the dentist.

My husband and I are both extremely happy happy with this practice.  They aren’t pushy at all. Every other dentist we’ve gone to in queens has tried to rip us off.  I just went for a cleaning and felt completely comfortable with the staff and the Dentist.  This is going to be my primary dentist from here on out. Also, I’m a major cry baby when it comes to my teeth…  the dentist was super gentle, I didn’t feel pain or pressure at all.

Excellent doctor, professional and helpful into addressing the problem and how to proceed with the follow ups.I’ve been with  ED Family Dental for a couple of years now. Everybody is very friendly. They’re excellent, very explanatory and patient.They make you feel very warm and comfortable. The doctor is absolutely amazing.He is my favorite doctor.The receptionist was very knowledgeable and friendly. The first assistant is sweat & professional and she explained all that I had to do.She made me feel very comfortable. Everything was clean.Nice office with a nice atmosphere.I would recommend this office to everyone who is looking for a great service.

Dr. Ed Shkurti, is very professional, well spoken and amazing Dentist. The office is decorated and has brand new equipment and advanced technology. The Cad/Cam system is one of the most amazing experience I have had in my life. No pain, no stress and positive vibes only. Very Clean and well managed practice. P.S The office manager also surprised me by giving a Free Whitening Strips that I love. Highly recommend if you are looking for a High-Level Dentist in NYC area.

Great experience with this Doctor and office. Very clean, extremely professional and pleasant. From the moment you walk in the front desk is very welcoming and they offer coffee. The doctor took the time to show me videos and explain all my questions and concerns. I will definitely be back for my six months recall.

Let me start by saying that this is a state of the art dentistry where technology and medicine are combined to deliver the service that you expect. I have changed quite a few dentists during in the last 5 year span but have never seen anything as hygienic and sophisticated as this. Once I got there, one of the doctors took my x-rays, including the panoramic view. Oh, and by the way, there were no uncomfortable small pieces of film stuck in my mouth during this process. Their technology requires you to just stand still in front of an x-ray machine and everything else is history. They have big screen TVs in every room where the doctor brings up your x-rays and walks you through the consultation process. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and was very comforting. While on-site, I did a cleaning. The first time that a cleaning felt like it was done the right way. I thought my previous dentists did a good job, until I got to Ed Family Dental. I think I might have just found the ideal dentist for me.

Great place and great staff! Slight wait time but I assume that’s because he takes his time with each patient. Worth the trade off if you ask me!! Both doctors are respectable, nice, patient,thoughtful and professional! Good sense of humor! Highly recommend because I also like his honest approach to health care. There is no rush, no pressure, no selling. Just honest feed back and great work!

Excellent experience at Ed Family Dental. Very knowledgable, helpful staff – which really added to my experience here. Came with Bella in hopes they’d squeeze her in for a check-up. They were very accommodating, and Bella loved the attention here. As everyone’s noted, this is a state of the art dental clinic; is very hygienic; and has a calm, relaxing ambience (which helps for the chickens out there like me! ). Dr. Ed did a very thorough check-up/cleaning, and really took the time to explain. He didn’t rush me out if the office, and that’s always a plus!

Dr. Shkurti is a great dentist, he takes the time to listen to your concerns. He was able to diagnose the cause of my cavities and provided solutions for preventing them. Dr. Shkurti will not try to sell you on procedures you don’t need. He repaired a cavity that I had that was not properly filled by my previous dentist.

I can’t thank everyone at ED Family Dental enough for their amazing work! Dr. Ed Shkurti is exceptionally talented and has made “the dentist” my favorite doctor to visit! The office is unbelievably clean with new high tech machinery, the staff is kind and knowledgeable, and the services are performed in a transparent and diligent manner! I had a very complicated 4 root canal procedure done (post cleaning) and I had ZERO pain or discomfort – I haven’t even taken painkillers or antibiotics. Doing this in one shot with such precision and absolutely no discomfort is incredible! In addition to Dr. Shkurti working his magic, the dental assistant Anna was gentle and communicative with me during the x-rays and prep. I really don’t think any office or dentist compares, they are the best of the best (and affordable too!)
