Dr. McMahon has literally changed my life! I wrote to the office in desperate need of help. I had struggled with substance abuse in my twenties and now with 5 years sober and an important job in the Substance Abuse treatment field I still had the teeth of an addict. Dr. McMahon brought me in and gave me a new smile after just 3 PAINLESS appointments.  I can now smile at work and in my every day life without feeling ashamed. I was able to smile in pictures for the first time in years and it feels amazing! The office staff was always so kind and I really felt special every time I came in. I highly recommend Edgewood Dental care to everyone.

Edgewood Dental Care is a very clean, well run, and comfortable space. The doctors and technicians are kind, compassionate, understanding, and explain everything to their patients in a way that is understandable to lay people. I have appreciated being a patient here and trusted them with my dental care for the past 5 years.

Edgewood Dental gave me the best dental care I have ever received! I was a person who was terrified of the dentist, scared that the dentist would hurt me. But that is quite the opposite at Edgewood Dental. Everyone is SUPER kind and they take the time to explain everything. I had a few cavities that needed filling, and I didn’t feel a thing! Not even the shot of Novocain! It was by far the best experience I had getting a filling. Thank you Edgewood Dental for the wonderful care. You have me as a patient for the rest of my life!

After having a few not-so-great experiences at another local dentist, I decided to look for a new one. My 7 year old was starting to cry when it was time for a dental visit so I asked for recommendations for a place that was good with children. Edgewood Dental Care did not disappoint. They made us both feel comfortable. My daughter loved it so much she asked when we could go back! I am so grateful to the employees at Edgewood Dental Care. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I have always been terrified of dentists but Edgewood Dental Care has helped me through that. My dentist there is the gentlest dentist that I have ever known and so is the rest of the staff. From annual cleanings to actual dental work (fillings, caps, etc.) all the people & the work that they do is fantastic. They take into consideration my fears and are very gentle. I am not “cured” of my fear of dentists. Meaning if for some reason I have to go somewhere else for dental work I’d be terrified. EDC is the only place where I don’t stress out when it comes to dental work.

Excellent experience. I’ve had anxiety and fears about the dentist due to previous bad experiences at other offices. The staff at this office made me feel welcomed and in good hands. I was even late to my first appointment and they still treated me better than any office I’ve ever been to. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend. They don’t just try to do unnecessary procedures like I’ve experienced before. They treat as necessary regardless of what insurance you have or how much money they’ll make. So glad I went here. Try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

This is one of the best dental care offices I have been to.  They handle such a wide variety of services.  ALL the staff is very friendly.  Your first visit you get a nice welcoming goodie bag to take home.  They will make you feel appreciated every time you come in.  They even have a cool little waiting area where coffee, water, soda is provided free of charge.  My son had to have this wisdom teeth removed.  I was having trouble coming up with the amount owed (the difference of what my dental insurance doesn’t cover).  No worries…….they were able to work with me on this.  He had the surgery and all is well.  My family will continue to be patients there for a long time.

I hadn’t been to a dentist in almost 10 years, so I was very nervous. Dr. McMahon treated me with respect, courtesy, and took the time to sit down and explain what was going on and what I need to get done. He’s very honest, straightforward and I can tell that not only does he really know what he’s doing, but he also cares about his patients. My hygienist, Arika is very nice and she made me feel comfortable despite my nervousness. Even though I’m a newer patient, I can already tell that I’m in good hands. The office is clean and they have the latest technology.

The staff at Edgewood Dental is beyond amazing. They are timely, kind, and patient – always trying to make you feel the most comfortable you possibly can at the dentist! Dr. McMahon is extremely knowledgeable. He is approachable and makes you feel like you are part of the Edgewood Dental family.

This was my first visit. I was seen right on time. Zero wait! Everything was clearly explained to me. I need a little restorative work done and nothing was pushed on me. I was given an honest assessment of the minor issues and told they needed to be taken care of but it wasn’t an emergency. I was given an estimate and they will even get it preapproved through my insurance so that I have no surprises. I highly recommend this dental practice. Everyone was also super friendly and professional.

After experiencing much pain on 2 different occasions at a previous local dentist that I had gone to for 14 years because it was part of my employee benefits, I decided to try Dr. McMahon after reading reviews and seeing him rated very highly on dentist ratings. Boy did I hit the jackpot! Edgewood Dental is very caring and professional from the moment you come through the door until you walk out the door. It’s a very calm, efficient, and effective answer to caring for your dental needs. You are thoroughly evaluated. They thoroughly and patiently explain your options while giving you focused care answering all your questions in an unhurried manner. You then have the confidence in choosing your care and when they do the treatments you are treated as if you are their only patient and it is absolutely pain free. I had a crown replaced in the back, a crown on my front tooth (which looked horrible from previous dental work where they attempted bonding), and 2 dental implants. I have been seeing Dr. McMahon and his assistant, Laurie, now for about 10 months and couldn’t be happier. I now have my son and spouse also going there. Moved here a year ago and was trying to find a good quality, friendly and professional dental office. I was surprised at how great they were. quick & easy communications, friendly staff and Doctors, and time management is high quality. They respect my time! Love this place! I will definitely bring my children here in the future!

My hygienist Ashley was so nice and gentle with my teeth during the cleaning. Doctor McMahon was also great. I have to get my wisdom teeth out and he showed me the best procedure for what I needed done and what I didn’t need done. I appreciated that they didn’t try to push unnecessary treatment. Very happy with my appointment and care.

I’m 24 and haven’t been to the dentist since I was 10. Everyone was super friendly and nice. They explained everything that was happening and what they were doing before they did it and asked if I had any questions. They said everything would be at my pace and throughout the whole time I was there today they all asked me if I was ok and if I needed anything. 10/10 recommend.

Great experience! He pulled my tooth and prepared my socket with very little discomfort. I chose to only use localized anesthetic and I could not have been happier. I felt no pain from the beginning to the end. I hate the feeling of the shots, I have gotten from prior experiences with other dentist and I have to say I felt none of the shots this time. The Extraction went splendidly well. Doctor McMahon does a tremendous job prepping for the procedure. He recognized that my tooth had a hooking root and pulled it with no difficulty. I love this dentist and Highly recommend them. They even worked well with my out of network insurance to provide a reasonable cost for the procedure.

Just home from my first visit here (after quite some time) and it was excellent! The dental specialists helped me with x-rays and cleaning, and I appreciated their efficient, friendly and down-to-earth service. They even helped with some extra paperwork for Peace Corps… The office staff was also kind and helpful, and made mine a very pleasant experience! My thanks, again, to you all!

Just love this practice! They are not the cheapest in town as I saw on Next Door someone complain about $$$ but they are the best. Had an emergency visit today with a toothache and they not only worked me in but worked around my schedule. Dr. McMahon is the best. Feels like family here and really listens to your concerns. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for top notch dental care

I visited Edgewood Dental Care for the first time last week and right from the beginning I could tell the Dental Hygienist was very knowledgeable in the dental field. She not only made me feel comfortable; but gave me confidence that my teeth were in the hands of a professional. After my teeth were cleaned; The dentist came and looked at my teeth and again he was very professional, knowledgeable and gave me the feeling that this dental practice had my best interest’s at heart. Thank you!!

My hygienist, Sharon, is professional, personable, easy to talk with and does a thorough cleaning on my teeth. I highly recommend Sharon if you are looking for a pain free experience with a dedicated hygienist. Dr. McMahon is very conscientious when it comes to covid. His office follows strict protocol guidelines and you feel safe from the instant you step into the office. Dr. McMahon is very professional, takes an interest in not only your teeth but you personally. He makes you feel comfortable and ready to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend this office you won’t regret it.

I was looking for a closer dentist since mine was about a 45 minute drive. This one came highly recommended so I gave them a call. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up a new appointment. I have been a few times now and here are some of my favorite things about this practice. 1. Its clean, comfortable and wait times are never long. It helps that HGTV is usually on in the lobby because I don’t get to watch it at home! 2. I get the same hygienist every time. I’ve been three times and had the same lady clean my teeth. I really like her. I am not sure if this is intentional or a coincidence but it makes me feel more at ease knowing what to expect and by who. 3. The text message reminders! Part of my issue with getting my teeth regularly cleaned was scheduling it. I would always forget and was never comfortable scheduling in advance because I HATE cancelling appointments and my employment can be unpredictable. They text and remind me of upcoming appointments a week in advance, giving me time to adjust if needed. I highly encourage people to check them out. They also offer sedation for people who need that for their dental visits.

I absolutely love my hygienist, Ashley. She is so thorough and precise with my teeth. She makes all of my experiences great! I literally schedule my appointments around Ashley’s (Hygienist) work schedule because she is just that awesome. She makes going to the dentist fun and I appreciate the conversations we have every time. She is a gem!
