A friend referred me to Edwardsville Family Dentist, and I AM SO GLAD I decided to set up an appointment with them. I hadn’t been to the dentist for a year and a half because of a bad experience with a dentist and a dentist surgery. The lady I had my appointment with(Samantha I think) was amazing! She was very helpful and expressed compassion and listened to the concerns I was having. She also gave me a break down of costs for sealants before she went forward with doing them. I’ve never had a dentist office to this before. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. They communicated through text to confirm the appointment and sent all the necessary paperwork to fill out before the appointment, which was really convenient. I will definitely be coming back!

If you are looking for a dentist, Edwardsville Family Dentist is the place to go. The minute you walk in you are greeted by a cheerful hello and a smile and there is never a long wait. Once in the exam room, the technician greets you and promptly explains what is going to be done during your appointment and put you at ease. When the dentist comes in you are greeted by your first name and he explains exactly what he will do. Everything to be done is explained in detail before anything is done. Every step of the way everyone makes you feel welcome and glad you’re there thereby putting you at ease.

Of all days, Christmas Eve, I had a dental emergency. Rather new to the area, I had yet to establish with a new dentist. I contacted EFD, speaking to Tiffany. Without hesitation, she pulled me in (being still near an hour away). From Tiffany, Chelsea, another hygienist (I am so sorry I didn’t catch her name), to Dr. Moody, I received excellent care. One extraction complete and you can call me a lifetime patient. Thank you to the entire staff for such a wonderful experience in time of my need.

I went in not having been to a dentist in years due to battling mental health issues and experiencing a bad dentist prior. The second I walked in I was greeted with an amazing, friendly staff. The dental assistants and dentists themselves are so understanding and compassionate while still being honest and extremely helpful by making things easy to understand. Everyone at Edwardsville Family Dentist is always so friendly. The dental hygienists are all gentle but thorough. The dentists are kind and knowledgeable. Originally, I had a cracked tooth from a previous botched filling and I was wary to try a new dentist that doesn’t use laughing gas, but I was incredibly surprised to find that it was actually much more tolerable (dare I say enjoyable?) without the weird feeling of laughing gas. I was so impressed with the experience that my son and I have been using them ever since. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist check them out!

Had a scare this morning with my 4yr old daughter waking up complaining of a toothache. I called edwardsville family dentist and they got her in right away! All of the staff is extremely friendly and Dr. Beau was very patient and fast. This was her very first dentist experience and I very happy to say we had no tears and no more pain! This is just to add to my current 5 star rating I gave along time ago. I Still think of this place deserving much more than a 5 star I am so pleased with my experienceS with this dentist office any time I’ve needed to get in early had to reschedule they have always accompanied my schedule! Dr. Hudson is so awesome hes my favorite by far he makes me feel at ease which to me is always a plus going to the dentist. I know everytime I see him my pain will be gone and any issues with my teeth will be fixed. I highly recommend this dentist office and Dr.Hudson!

Update: I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled and was so freaked out and worked up. But the dental asst talked me through it all and Dr. Moody literally had my tooth out in like a minute. It was so easy, I was shocked he was already done. What a great dentist he is! And a truly awesome practice. I really enjoy going here even though I’m definitely a scaredy cat. Seriously wouldn’t go anywhere else. This is a great place! So clean and they’re really all taking the necessary precautions during this crazy time. Love the people! Front desk ladies were awesome! I have been to a lot of dentists and this office and doctor are by far the best. Every single person there was amazing. Dr. Moody was absolutely wonderful. He had my front teeth fixed in no time and I was so worried my fillings wouldn’t match my tooth color but they are beautifully done. This will forever be my dentist office. Zuri the dental assistant was also amazing and very helpful with everything I had a question for. What’s even better is they joke and laugh with you instead of being stuck up and that’s a bonus in my book. I would give more stars if I could.

I was referred by my daughter to Edwardsville Family Dentistry. Friday I had an old filling break off. I called the office this morning to see if I could get in as a new patient. My old dentist of 16 years had moved his practice to Mo., with Covid I had not attempted to find a new dentist. Edwardsville Family Dentistry got me in today. They were able to make and place a crown on my tooth and it is resolved. I had retired and had no insurance. They had a plan that was affordable to cover me the next year. Two teeth cleanings and discounts on any procedure I might need. I have a new dentist! It was the most positive and professional experience for me.

When I was new to the area, I went to several dentists who tried to get me to replace all of my filings or made suggestions that weren’t in line with my old dentist’s recommendations. \I broke a tooth on Saturday and they were able to get me in by Tuesday which felt super fast. I was really scared because I’ve never broken a tooth and we are financially in the middle of some big changes but they really took care of me, walked me through everything, got it for the most part completely taken care of on that day, and we’re just genuinely kind people. It was super clean, everyone was professional and everyone was safe with covid procautions. They also were awesome with helping me work out an easier billing plan and I appreciate it more than they know. I definitely reccomend Edwardsville Family Dentist. Absolutely one of the friendliest and most efficient dentist offices I’ve ever been in. From the moment I called to the moment I was wished a fond farewell it was seamless. I was traveling out of town and had permanent retainer wire come loose. The office was able to squeeze me in the very next day, I was taken care of right at my appointment time, and the whole procedure was completed within 20 minutes. A total bonus is that the office is very tranquil and well appointed. If I lived local this would definitely be my dentist office!

I hate dentists. I had a cracked tooth with an abscess. Dr. Moody took a long time to do a root canal, I wanted it completed in five minutes. It did not happen. Yet I noticed that he was extremely thorough, very gentle, and kept asking if I was doing okay. Is my mouth sore? Yes. Am I happy that I had my tooth drilled? No. But if you ask if I trust Dr. Moody and his staff, the answer is a resounding yes. Make that a capital y – Yes.

The doctor was very receptive to my pain management needs when getting a filling, which was very much appreciated. They made sure I understood the purpose and was prepared for the cost of the services I received before they completed them. I also really enjoyed getting to see the X-rays and photos of my teeth so that they could walk me through their thinking process. It was fascinating to look at! And it gives you a stronger sense of ownership over your dental hygiene when you can see it yourself vs a stranger just telling you what you need. I would highly recommend this office.
