Dr. Qaré and his office are the absolute best! I completely trust him and his staff without hesitation. Over the years, I have had two implants done here with exceptional results. The process was lengthy and handled very delicately. I always knew what to expect because Dr. Qaré and his staff were very transparent and honest, and above all extremely caring throughout. His office helped me navigate through my insurance benefits and was available for me at all times throughout the extensive implant process. Having Dr. Qaré as my dentist truly makes me feel like I am doing the best I can for my oral health. His office goes above and beyond when taking care of myself and my family. We all look forward to seeing him and his staff at every appointment! I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Qaré as a part of my healthcare team.

Love doctor Qare. I have been coming ever since he opened his first office on 2489 mission street. He is always kind, caring, helpful, and most of all GENTUL. He is now on 2480 mission street and his office looks better then ever. SO PROFESSIONAL! His wife and son are always in the office and they help him out with everything. If you know be you can say I love family businesses. His staff Ronnie, Maria, and Judy are like supper heroes. They are always emailing and texting do I won’t forget my appointments. They ALSO treat me like family. A dental office couldn’t be any better!

I can very easily recommend Dr. Qare for any of your dental needs.  He has been my dentist for 3 years. The main thing I like about Dr. Qare is that unlike many other dentists I have seen, he does not treat me just as another person to make money from.  I am a person he cares about, and this is clear from the way he talks to me, the way his receptionist is about appointments, and most especially the reasonable, flexible, and honest way he is about dealing with dental insurance and paying for work.  Basically, I don’t feel I am being cheated in any way, which is rare for me when dealing with any health care professional. But he also makes a dental visit super-satisfying.  He explains what he is doing in a approachable-yet-educated manner.  He also has been a valued resource on mouth-related issues such as sleep apnea and bad breath. At least 2 friends have started seeing Dr. Qare due to my recommendation, and both are as enthusiastic as I am about his dental practice. Even though I moved to the other side of SF, I have no problem going to the Mission for a dental appointment with Dr. Qare.

This dental office is truly amazing.  A small family practice that caters to your every need.  Dr. Qare is great.  He takes the time to show and explain everything to his clients.  The staff is very pleasant and professional.  Dr. Qare recently performed a root canal on one of my back teeth.  I must admit that it was painless.  I was slightly sore for a few days to eating, but i did not have to take any pain meds  I have been bragging about Dr. Qare to all my friends and family so i thought i would brag about him on yelp as well.

dr. qare is the coolest dentist around.  about a year ago i fell off my bike and landed on my two front teeth.  broke them in half.  needless to say i was in a tremendous amount of pain.  dr. qare took me in immeaditely.  he knew i was completely distressed and reassured me that he will give me back my beautiful smile.  after he calmed me down, he did everthing in his power to get me out of pain and make me look good again.  ever step of the way he made sure i was comfortable, and i must admit that i did’t feel much of anything.  after the work was done he sat with me for a good 15-20 minutes to explain to me what to expect and how to take care of my new teeth.i even got a call that night from him to make sure i was ok. it gets even cooler. at the time i didn’t realize that dr. qare had come down to the office just to take of care me.  apperantly the office is closed on thursdays and when i called the office the er line contacted him to tell him about my situation.  he rushed down to the office just to help me!  man, this guy is really great.   if you are looking for a really cool dentist, who is not only good at what he does,but also cares about his clients , then i highly recommend dr. qare for you.  i have been recommending him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Qare is the best, most skillful, considerate, pain free, reasonably priced dentist my husband and I have ever had (we are both over 65). My husband and I both have had an unusual amount of dental problems and a lot of experience with dentists prior to finding Dr. Qare.  I highly recommend Dr. Qare.  He is head and shoulders above any other dentist we have used. Don’t believe the current negative review that is published on yelp – it is more than likely from one of Dr. Qares’ competitors – just compare it with all his other reviews. I have been a patient of Dr. Qare for 9 years, along with my husband.  We moved to Oakland six years ago and still travel all the way to the Mission for our dental treatment with Dr. Qare.   In the past Dr. Qare came in on his day off to treat me with a time consuming complicated treatment, recently saw my husband after hours to treat a sudden problem, and worked me in at the last moment on a Saturday because I was leaving town for a week and had a sudden problem.   If you get a voicemail on  a workday, it is probably because in order to better serve his patients, instead of rigidly working 9 to 5 during the week Dr. Qare is open on Saturdays, works later than usual on weekdays, and then closes one day during the week . We have friends whom we introduced to Dr. Qare who have since moved two hours away and still come in to SF for their dental work with Dr. Qare.  I can unconditionally recommend Dr. Qare.

I am a VERY picky person when it comes to teeth. As a child i really had bad gums and my childhood dentist was not so hot, but when ur young u have to go where ur parents take you. I was lucky enough to find dr. qare he is so gentle and patient (because besides picky i am not easy to work on even if its just for a simple exam-gager ) and he really informed me of what was going on in my mouth, from my gums to my jaw issues. But i must say he wasn’t the only great one in his office. His assistant Julie was also very helpful and attentive to not let me gag when she took my x-rays and their front girl, jessie was great too because she explained my insurance coverage and what they will and will not cover and the other girl, ronia was also very help when it came to making my next appointment, sadly I have one cavity but I’m not worried about it because dr. qare explained everything that he is going to do and he even showed me a picture of the tooth. I was very pleased with him, his services and his staff. I totally recomend him. He is very thorough and his staff makes you feel welcomed. They AREN’T like the office I took my daughter to who ignores you when you walk in- his front staff as soon as you come are welcoming and helpful

First off, I am very afraid of the Dentist. When I was recommended to see Dr. Qare, I was afraid. I thought maybe because he was a man, he would be a little bit rougher than a woman dentist, but I went anyway. To my amazement, he had the gentlest touch. He was very concerned about my well being while I was getting my check up. Every so often he would stop and ask if I was okayy. He said if I felt any pain, to raise my left hand. I mean, what other dentist do you know who would do that? His office, is VERY VERY clean and spotless. I look for that when I go to places that have to do with my health. Either him or his assistants open clean materials to use on my mouth. And whenever someone walks into a room, they ALWAYS wash their hands. When it comes time to actually work on my mouth, he always starts convos with me (very professional of coarse), so i wont be afraid or nervous while he’s working. I’ve been going there since i was very young, and continue to go to this day. BY FAR the BEST dentist I know! Him and his staff, Yesenia and his wife, Ronnie are very friendly and well trained. Ohh  BTW,  I love how they have the “homey” like decor in their waiting room.

I have been to many dentists in many countries and never has anyone given me such a thorough consultation and such an excellent cleaning. Thank you Dr Qare! I feel like I’ve had my teeth whitened, that is how clean they are. He told me that the cleaning was likely to be a little painful and the last time I had it done which was in the Netherlands, it was very painful, but this Dr was really gentle and considerate and it didn’t hurt a bit.  Everyone who works there seemed very pleasant and friendly. The dental hygienist even made me get a fit of the giggles. The most important thing though is that despite being very busy and running over time Dr Qare still took the time to explain everything that needed explaining with no rushing. I’ve yet to have anything major done but I would definitely feel comfortable going back for the 2 fillings that I need. Oh and the prices are very reasonable too.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Qaré for over 5 years and couldn’t imagine a better dentist. His staff is warm and accommodating. I’ve felt very informed by Dr. Qaré’s detailed explanations of what’s going on with my teeth, gums, options for orthodontia, etc without ever feeling pressured. He does an excellent job of explaining difficult concepts while giving his opinion of when a procedure is functionally necessary (and why) and when it’s a personal choice or something to watch for the future. The office has now been open for about a month post-COVID and they’ve done a lot to adjust to the current times. Temperature checks for both staff and patients, personal protective equipment, plastic curtains between patient rooms, air filters in each room, adjustment to the tools they use to prevent aerosolization, and mindfulness throughout. I felt very safe during my recent visit.

Below are my top reasons for giving Dr. Qare, Ronnie, and the rest of his staff five stars. For context, I switched to his office about a year ago, and in that time, I’ve gotten two routine cleanings, one filling (to fix a filling from childhood that had cracked), and a night guard. 1) Transparency an communication: when deciding which mouth guard to get, and when discussing how to best fix the cracked filling, they laid out exactly what the different options or scenarios were, as well as what the trade-offs, risks, and benefits were of each. I was always told ahead of time how much each option would cost, and exactly how much of it my insurance would cover. During cleanings and fillings, they always explain what’s going to happen and what to expect. They even use a teeny camera to take digital photos inside my mouth so I can actually see what they’re seeing, which I appreciate. Because of their emphasis on transparency and clear communication, I feel calm and in control every time I go in. 2) Education: I’ve learned more from Ronnie about how to floss properly than from any other dentist. 3) Technology: I love that they email me a calendar invitation for my appointments! And they text me reminders! I am much more on top of my dental health because they make it easy to make and keep appointments.

so far so good! efficient cleaning and exam, and the doctor was attuned to saving me money while still recommending what he thought was best for my teeth. i also followed up with him on email to clarify how to use a toothpaste he prescribed, and he answered within 20 minutes! the staff is also super considerate. i looked dr. qare up because i was having toothaches and even though they could initially only give me an appointment in a weeks time, they were great about following up with me when they had cancellations. going to the dentist is not meant to be a relaxing or pleasant experience, but these guys are thorough and efficient!

As much as I hate going to the dentist, there’s no one I trust more than Dr. Qare and his team. They are thorough and caring on everything from cleanings to insurance. When my crown (that a previous dentist had installed) suddenly broke, I turned to Dr. Qare on a friend’s recommendation. I was very nervous going into it since it was one of my front teeth and I knew it would be easy to botch. Dr. Qare and Ranya (the office manager) took great care of me. Dr. Qare made sure that the new crown would be a perfect color match: he even worked with a specialized lab to ensure it would look as natural as possible. Ranya worked with me on payments, allowing me to spread out the costs of the procedure over multiple installments. Throughout, they took the time to listen, explain, and provide great service. I have been a regular patient for two years now, and have referred friends here. The thing that I appreciate most about Dr. Qare is that he won’t push procedures on his patients. In fact, when I wanted to get a filling replaced for aesthetic reasons (again, this filling was installed by a prior dentist), he cautioned me it might weaken the tooth, and advised me to hold off. They truly care about providing long-term care for their patients.

Dr. Quaré, , and their entire staff are just amazing. I’ve been coming to them for over 8 years and I can’t even tell you how decent and good they are. Sadly, there are many dental practices that focus mainly on their bottom line and how to increase their revenue from each patient and Dr. Quaré just doesn’t run his business that way. He and Ronnie have always been so gentle and kind…I kinda feel like they’re my Aunt and Uncle lol and I mean that in the best way. Can not recommend Dr. Quaré’s practice enough.

I really enjoyed the level of professionalism and attention I received here.  The kindness of a dentist office – well, I think we all know that goes a long way.  I’m not shy to say I have never been a fan of the dentist chair.  I have decided to write these particular folks a review because I was pleasantly surprised by what happened to me in just a few visits.  In short, I calmed down.  It’s rare to feel so thoroughly taken care of and entertained in a dentist chair.  Yet that was exactly my experience.  Highly recommended.

The staff at Dr. Qare Family Dental lead by Ronnie work tireless to create and maintain a “Family” atmostphire while operating at the highest level of professionalism.  Dr. Qare’s mission is to provide the highest quality of work while ensuring the comfort of each patient. He provides a detailed explanation of every procedure and answers all questions prior to beginning.  Through out the procedures Dr. Qare is in constant communication to ensure the highest level of comfort is achieved and maintained for the patient.   I trust Dr. Qare and recommend his services at every opportunity.

Dr Elias  Qare has a wonderful personality, a special and equal treatment to all his patients, I really advice any person with dental pain to visit Dr Qare because Iam quite sure they will find their relief at his clinic, he is a professional in his domain ,organizable and decent. Dr. Qare is the best dentist I have ever been to! I found Dr. Qare on Yelp while looking for a dentist last minute for my boyfriend. He was terrified of the dentist and needed a lot of work done in a short period of time. They were so understanding and flexible that, they squeezed in multiple appointment for him at the end of the year so he could use up his insurance money. We were so thankful! Dr. Qare and his staff are so friendly and relaxed that despite how fearful my boyfriend was, they made him feel at ease. When he would get too nervous they would leave the room and give him space to relax and regroup before they would continue. My boyfriend came home actually raving about how great these people were even after separate appointments for 2 root canals and an extraction! He also appreciated how well everything was explained to him, it really helped to lift some of the anxiety. After he had such a positive experience, I decided to go for a long overdue checkup myself. It feels weird to say this, but I felt great after leaving the dentist! They provided me with so much education I felt really empowered about the health of my teeth! Dr. Qare did the cleaning himself and was so gentle! It was the best cleaning I had ever had! I have sensitive gums, that are a bit lower than they should be and the last dentist I went to made me feel horrible about it. He even “threatened” me with surgery if things didn’t improve. Not Dr. Qare. He explained why my gums were like that (braces) and stated as long as I continue to take good care of my teeth, there won’t be any problem! He also showed me my x-rays and went over in detail the spots we should be keeping our eyes on and why. Furthermore, one staff member re-taught me how to brush and floss my teeth in front of a mirror. I realized I had been flossing really rough and also, that I was hold my toothbrush in the wrong position. I really appreciate all their kindness and attention to detail. I highly recommend Dr. Qare’s office!! Best Dentist ever!

dr elias qare is amazing.  just stopped in for a cleaning for this heavy coffee drinking mouth.  dr, qare does the cleaning himself.  he is always extremely thorough and pain free.  i have been going here for five years and dr. qare has saved me a ton of money by catching things early so they are not a major problem later on.  my dad who is retired now was dr qare’s teacher in dental school.  he refered me to him because dr. qare has great skills with your teeth and with you as a person.  his staff is always cheerful and extremely helpful with explaining your insurance and how to minimize out of pocket expenses.  if you are looking for a great, honest, pain free dentist who is there for you  as a person and not just a dollar sign this is the place to be.  i definitely love the care that dr Q gives me.

i wrote this review in spanish because every comment here is written in english and i’d like to let everybody who knows mostly how to  speak spanish to hear about how great this office is too.. Si buscan un dentista profesional con bajos costos me gustaria recomendarle a el doctor Elias Q. he estado atendiendome durante tres anos  y nunca he tenido ningun tipo de problema con el ni con sus trabajadores, me han asesorado de como sacarle el mayor provecho a mi aseguranza.  El doctor siempre ha sido muy amable conmigo y me explica con todo detalle el procediemiento que esta realizando aun cuando yo solo hablo espanol es muy claro con lo que quiere decir y mejor aun tienen personas que hablan mi idioma , cuando hago una cita nunca he tenido que esperar,  el lugar esta siempre muy limpio y cuando he tenido que cambiar mi cita para otro dia no he tenido ningun problema me atienden con amabilidad y son flexibles a mis necesidades, en mi opinion la mejor eleccion que puedan hacer es con el doctor elias.

Dr. Elias Qare is the best doctor in the San Fransisco area. I love going to the him because of him and his great staff. So, let me tell you my story, I was sitting there all scared and worried when Jessy his assistant came up to me.  She said are you OK, i said NO!  She said oh we get a lot of kids who are scared, i said really. Then she introduced me to Brian his son, i played with him for the whole 1/2 hour i had to wait. Then the doctor called I’m ready for you. He was kind friendly, and told me he was poking me with his finger nail, but later i learned it was a 2in needle. So, i finished my appointment quickly. He gave me tooth paste, and a tooth brush, and showed me the right way to brush. Then the next day i got a call it was him, he said it was such a big job he wanted to make sure i was okay.  So, now i go to Dr. Qare all the time.

I’ve been going to the office of dr. Qare for the last 25 years, even before he took over., but when we started going to  Dr. Qare we’ve been very happy with the great service, friendly atmosphere, and he treats us like his own family. He does Root canals, crown, and extractions. It’s great that we don’t need  to go to a specialist any more. I’m writting today because one of my aunts used to have dentical. Dr.Qare stopped taking it 7 years ago.  He told me not to worry that he will still see my aunt and bill dentical even though he’s no longer taking it.  Last week I phoned the receptionist because there is no longer dentical, the receptionist told me not to worry because he has been doing her cleanings and x-rays at no charge,( he has not billed dentical all this time).   He wants our family to be comftable and happy at his office. He is the best.  I can’t belive that there is another dentist who will treat or care about his patients  like Dr. Qare.

good honest dentist.  dr qare is great!  i have not been to the dentist in a few years due to extreme fear of the dentist,  dr qare did a great job of explaining everthing he did.  he was very gentle and made sure i was comfortable at all times.  he took the time to answer all my quetions and showed me all the work that i need on the digital x-rays and photos that he took,  i really recommend him to every one but especially to anyone who is anxious because he will put you at ease immediately.

I have a love-hate relationship with dentists. I’ve spent a lot of my life in dental clinics and had some very bad experiences with unskilled dentists. Now, I spend a lot of time researching hard-working, honest dentists, and Dr. Qare (+his team) does not disappoint. The entire office is clean and feels very professional. I’ve been dreading finding a new dentist close to my new home in the Mission and now I’m here to stay. I’ve done a cleaning and had two huge fillings done; both were quick and painless. The whole staff was caring and accommodating. Money is a big issue when visiting the dentist, but they were very transparent about costs and told me about every possible procedure I may need and their cost. Thank you for enjoyable dentist visits!
