Dr. Sellinger is the tops. He’s up on all the most recent techniques and very careful to avoid your feeling any pain. He just did a crown for me and I felt nothing. He and the staff are all very friendly and make the experience pleasant. He also does not encourage you to have expensive work done when it’s not necessary. I trust him totally and have always had great results.

The staff and service at this practice have always been stellar, but they outdid themselves when I suddenly developed severe tooth pain, getting me in that day, providing an emergency root canal — which was really quite painless — and Dr. Sellinger even called the next day to see how I was faring. Excellent excellent excellent!!!!! The staff is amazing. The office was recently updated with a very contemporary decor. She is very thorough and gentle. And she has the up to date equipment. This is a true story: she is so gentle that once while she was drilling a tooth of mine, I fell asleep (and I was not fatigued)! She takes the time to explain every single aspect of the medical care you are receiving. I highly recommend her. Her office does not take insurance but they will file the paperwork for you. Not cheap but worth it.

I have been going to Dr. Sellinger for 15 years. This is one of the best dental offices I have every been to – kind, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. They have helped me with everything from cavities to crowns, and whitening. Their offices and equipment are modern and state-of-the-art. It is a very pleasant experience to visit here, and they make every effort to make you comfortable and pain-free. It’s is well located. And, the receptionists/appointment mgr. follow up and scheduling is amazing. My teeth have never looked better.

I found Dr. Sellinger and his team as I dug through past NY contacts and online reviews desperate to find a high caliber dentist for my daughter who needed extensive dental work while attending collage in NYC. Not being able to vet him first I held my breath ….I was so relieved to get a call from my daughter walking to the subway with a fully numb mouth as she told me they all were amazing and it was the best Dr. experience of any kind she ever had! Since then I have had many phone consults with Dr. Sellinger and staff as we’ve planned the necessary work and extended care. Dr. Sellinger is an extremely gifted, compassionate professional who listens, creative thinks and draws from all areas of patient care to personalize his work to the individual!! Love her as a dentist and the practice overall. The front desk staff is as nice as you need them to be and the office has enough seating if you have to wait. Which, very likely you wont. I had to wait all of 5 minutes before I was taken for my appointment Caleena the hygenist is super nice and super thorough. Dr. Hoskin is the exact mix of what you want in a dentist. She is very nonalarmist, and knows her stuff You never feel pressured into anything nor will she berate you for being less than stellar in your dental habits. She also happens to be super friendly and approachable which I love. She also works one Saturday a month which is great for those who have crazy work schedules which seems to be the norm in NYC! And it’s a 5 block walk from the Columbus Circle subway stop!
