Okay, I REALLY need to give a shout out to my dentist. Seriously, if you are looking for a dentist in the Boston area, this guy is the best. I had a problem with a tooth over Thanksgiving, and he not only called me personally on Friday (in quick response to my call), but called again this morning to see how I was doing today. Now he’s going to see me in person this Friday at no charge, just to make sure there’s not a larger problem. If you’ve ever had a tooth infection, root canal, etc., you know what it’s like when you need a good dentist STAT. I would highly recommend Dr. Aram Elovic. And (as if this could also be possible), his receptionist, Charlene is amazing and unbelievably friendly and helpful as well. This is not a paid advertisement. Just a heartfelt endorsement for a healthcare professional who really puts the health of his patients first. Not so easy to find these days, so I felt compelled to share. In my opinion, he really deserves this review, and if you believe you deserve the best dental care (which you do!), you should definitely consider making an appointment.

I have been going to Elovic for many years. I had a molar extracted yesterday. As always, the procedure went swimmingly l. The dentist and staff ware very efficient and very communicative. The offices are clean, airy and otherwise superb. I had an implant installed yesterday (12/30/26) . The office and staff were professional and welcoming as usual. Dr. Elovic coordinated so well with my periodontist to expedite the implant process.

If you’re like me you experience a little anxiety as you lay back in the dental chair, something I’ve been doing since breaking some teeth in the 6th grade. I have run the gambit over the last few decades until switching my family to Dr. Avam Elovic about 10 years ago. Whether a checkup, cavity or crown his services are always first rate. You never wonder what those weird dental instruments are going to be used for because Dr. Elovic always explains what he is about to do. If you are like me, you feel no discomfort as the high pitch rev of the drill reverberates in your head…..and you feel nothing because the Novocain has been expertly administered. I could go on and on and tell you about his most capable dental assistant, Sue, or the cadre of capable hygienists that work in the Elovic offices. My kids never complained and their beautiful smiles are my assurance my family is well cared for by him. An A++ practice!

Aram Elovic was kind and accessible on the weekend when I called due to severe acute jaw pain. He promptly prescribed medication for my condition. He was caring and responsive on his day off. When I saw Becky Elovic in the office for my TMJ flare up, she was knowledgeable and offered several good solutions to address the source of the pain. She made spot on referrals to other professionals, like PT and a massage therapist. She suggested self massage and exercises I could find on YouTube that quickly brought some immediate relief. I went in thinking the only option to alleviate my problem was a night guard and came out of the visit with so much more information and treatments to try.

Hygienist Keri reviewed my history, meticulously cleaned all of my dental surfaces, and carefully assessed my gingival tissues, probing and measuring the pockets surrounding each tooth. She gave specific guidance regarding adjustments to my home regimen to help address areas needing additional attention. Dr. Elovic then made his examination and corroborated her findings. Additionally, since my current insurance arrangement is about to expire, I asked the office staff for their insights regarding plans available from competing companies. Elovic took me immediately, I walked in 15 minutes later and they did FAR more than my own dentist did. They flushed, cleaned and gave me the proper antibiotics to deal with the pain and discomfort. Yesterday (Oct. 13th) was my first day back to Elovic Dental, since before the pandemic. I was in a little bit of fear and trepidation, as I was also being faced with the retirement (my loss) of both my, very long time, Hygienist, Maryann and my Dentist, Dr. Ferrin, amongst other personnel – all, of whom, I had become accustomed to and liked very much, over my many years at Elovic. But, being an optimist, I marched in to face whatever may come. Upon arrival, ALL was dramatically changed, so, initially I was feeling a bit of confusion, with protocols and practices put in place with regard to wellness, safety and social distancing – all good and very appropriate, but nonetheless, confusing for me. They did a great job and have thought about ALL that ALL at Elovic Dental had to go through to get the facility ready for patients to return – must have been very challenging. My optimism, as always, paid off – my “new” experience was actually quite good. I now had both a “new” Hygienist, Terrence, who was very, very good – very thorough and my “new” Dentist, Dr. Aram Elovic, who also was very engaging, sharing some of getting the Dental Office ready, where it needed to be for the many protocols of safety for these unprecedented times and, likewise, was very thorough in his exam. So, all in all, give Dr. Elovic, Hygienists and Staffing and big “high five” for an incredible job well done. Reflecting on my Dental appointment yesterday – regarding my “new” experience at Elovic Dental – all is good, in fact, very, very good! A great big THANK YOU – to ALL and for ALL that was done in preparation to take good care of us patients. Perhaps . . . some day we’ll get back to some sense of normalcy – one can only wish . . .
