I recently moved here from Texas and was very concerned about finding health care. I had some issues with a previous dentist so this area was of special importance. After one visit with Doctor Lun Chial I knew there was nothing to be concerned about. She not only repaired the immediate problem but explained in detail how to prevent such issues in the future. I have been to more than a dozen dentists and none of the previous people had been this thorough. I am impressed with the expertise and professionalism of everyone associated with this office.

Dr Lun Chial is The BEST dentist I have ever found!! I have seen several doctors and dentists in my many years of living, but Dr Lun Chial is THE BEST EVER! She is gentle, efficient, and very willing to explain the required procedure(s). She will carefully guide you during each session and ensure you feel as little pain as possible. She will give as many “breaks” as you require. Dr Ely is very keen to ensure you are kept as comfortable as possible. Her entire staff are very well-trained and it is obvious they enjoy working with her. Sometimes she provides on- the – job training for new dental-assistants–an obvious sign of her love for what she does and her willingness to ensure a solid corps of professional, competent dental assistants. If you’re looking for a GREAT dentist this is the place to go. DR. Ely is awesome, she takes her time with her patient’s and does not rush through. I have been to other dental offices who just care about the money and not the patient’s teeth. In this case she doesn’t she takes her time and gives the best advice when it comes to your teeth. Dr. Ely is fantastic!Pros: On-Time Appointment – I was in the lobby for 1-2 minutes max. No Surprises – Detailed Explanation of the x-rays, exam, and cleaning process. Courteous – Extra Pillow for my neck, checking in with me for comfort during exam and cleaning. Detailed – Cleaning felt very thorough. Polishing was complete, not skimmed over like previous cleanings at other places. Recommendation – Scheduled an appt for a cavity, and got advice on how to deal with bigger issues. No pressure and only necessary recommendations were made.
Cons: Dr Ely and her staff were so nice, wish I could have stayed and chatted!

My appointment was scheduled so that there were no other patients in the office during the entire time I was there. Arrival: When I arrived, a staff member came out to my car and asked me about 10 questions then checked my temperature using a no-touch thermometer. Office: Once I was taken into the treatment room, Dr. Ely and Valerie had gloves, disposable gowns masks and face shield on before I removed my personal face covering. All the tools were removed from packaging. Treatment: I needed major work today, and Dr Ely took time to explain the entire process. I don’t know how she does it, but I felt zero pain during the procedure. Even though I always get nervous, her calm and caring personality made me feel confident and trusting in her work.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS!!!!! Ive been going with Dr. Lun-Chial since 2009 and I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH HER OR ANY OF HER STAFF. When you call they are very friendly and when you walk into the office they call you by your first name and ask how you are doing because they care! 🙂 I have never had any problems with my insurance and they are clear and concise on my co-payments every time, and there is never any misunderstandings with my insurance. Dr. Lun-Chial really cares about the health of your teeth and only does things that are necessary. Dr. Lun-Chial is very careful while working on your teeth. Overall she is the best dentist I have ever gone to and I highly recommend her and her office.

After having dental implants installed Dr Lun Chial installed the required crowns professionally and installed veneers as requested to in essence, give me a new dental look. Never rushed. Never with pain. Always with good humor and efficiency. In for a cleaning, Dr. Ely noticed an incipient decay just starting that would require a replacement crown if needed; she offered the option of a Fluoride treatment that may stop it without needing a new crown. I took that option. Some dentists might’ve preferred to go for the new crown. I really like her style.

I was devastated when I found out that my 6 year old daughter had several cavities that needed treatment. My daughter’s previous dentist drew out a treatment plan which totaled over $1300.00. I would have to pay up front and be reimbursed by my dental insurance.
I decided to request her xrays and switch dentists prior to having any work done. Dr. Lun-Chial was nice enough to review my daughter’s xrays and set up a new treatment plan. She is very professional, kid friendly, and her staff is awesome. After insurance, my out of pocket expense was only $100.00. My daughter loves her new dentist and can’t wait to see Dr. Lun-Chial for her next cleaning.

Next, She knows your previous concerns and conducts a thorough examination every time. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
At an early age, Dr. Lun-Chial knew she wanted to be a dentist. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Dr. Lun-Chial went to the University of Southern California, where she obtained her dental degree. To pursue more training, she did a one year general practice residency at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, California. After finishing her residency, she joined the United States Air Force and was commissioned as a Captain and assigned as a Dental Officer, at Howard‘s Air Force Base, and Fort Clayton, in the Republic of Panama, Central America. After several years working as an associate, Dr. Lun-Chial started her dental practice in Fountain Valley. Dr. Lun-Chial provides general and cosmetic dentistry to all ages. She is fluent in English and Spanish, and is looking forward to provide you the best quality dental care!
