I couldn’t ask for a better end result than the one I got from Dr. Wen. I greatly appreciate him for going up and beyond to provide me with excellent customer service as well as a great dental experience. He restored my smile, which has given me the confidence to want to smile again. I am forever grateful to him. The process and procedure was seamless and flawless from beginning to end. I would highly recommend him for any dental work that you would like or are considering being done.

My husband and I have been a patient of Dr. Wen for over 10years and will not go to any other dentist considering we travel all the way from NJ to Upper Manhattan for dental care + maintenance. Dr. Wen is polite and creates a welcome environment for his patients. Trust me when I say the dentist office is not my favorite place but visiting Dr Wen at least 3xs a time is always a wonderful experience. He is definitely the best dentist ever.

Was in desperate need of an emergency extraction (bad abscess) and found him by googling emergency in my area. I called his office on a Sunday at 1:15 and Kelly contacted my insurance right away and called back and was in his office @3:30pm. Extremely professional, explained everything and went through all options and steps for current and future. Now it is 3 weeks later and I just left his office after my first appointment for my implant and again professional and a great “chair side manner”. As with everything else I do, I always ask up front about costs and estimates for insurance etc. both Dr. Wen and Kelly have been up front and honest and unlike a few of the other reviews did not push any extras or up charges. As an example, my implant is in the way back of my mouth and he didn’t push or try to upsell a temporary tooth actually I had to bring it up and his answer was it was up to me but it wouldn’t be covered by insurance at all and it was totally optional. Thank you Dr Wen and Kelly!!!

I went to Dr Wen for the first time yesterday after a lot of procrastination in general on my part due to terrible past experiences at a different dentist’s office. Getting the appointment was easy. The front office staff was knowledgeable and courteous and helpful. Wait time was negligible. Dr Wen himself was very polite and very efficient, so I didnt have any wait time in the chair in between Xrays, cleaning, etc. He was very articulate about what the situation was and what my next steps needed to be. He was very clear to me about my insurance coverage, and estimates for everything as we formulated the plan of action. The procedures done yesterday were quick and clean and painless. And did I mention quick? I am very impressed and would highly recommend him and am looking forward to getting all my future dental work done by him.

As a native New Yorker, living on the Upper West Side for the past fifty years, I can recommend Dr. Danian Wen as the best dentist in the City. I first came to him last year when a festering double abscess on two adjoining back molars was driving me insane with intense pain. It was on a Sunday. We were desperate and my wife found him online under emergency dentists. We didn’t have a personal recommendation, but we found that Dr. Wen works on weekends, ready and able to handle emergency cases on short notice. He immediately performed a double extraction in a difficult area, bringing me instant relief from suffering. I was so impressed with his gentle manner and flawless technique that I began a full mouth reconstruction, which had been too long delayed. (I’m almost 80 years old, and have been to many dentists during my lifetime, so I was a bit wary.) It turned out that Dr. Wen is not only good at emergency situations, but is highly skilled in all aspects of dentistry, including reconstructive and cosmetic work. Recently, he made me a permanent bridge of four upper teeth that was so flawless that it did not need any adjustments. It fit perfectly the moment he put it in, and I never even know that it’s there and looks great. He is the most painless dentist I’ve ever had, and will work with your insurance. Absolutely wonderful, had a bit of an urgent situation and he stayed late to see me and was extremely helpful, professional and honest in laying out my options. He wasn’t even my primary dentist at the time, I just called him at random and he did all of that! Needless to say he will be my primary dentist moving forward. Thank you!

I was recommended by a coworker to see Dr. Wen for a dental emergency. They are very accommodating and I was able to get an appointment very quickly after explaining to them it’s an emergency. Dr. Wen was very professional and caring. He was very patient and explain everything in detail about my x-rays and the course of treatment. I appreciate his efficiency, expertise and how he followed up with me the day after. Dr. Wen and his staff are extremely attentive and they care a lot about their patients. I highly recommend this office!

Best dentist I have been to not only in NYC, but ever. I have been going to Dr. Wen for 3 years or so, and have had nothing but great experiences. I referred my wife to him as well, and she too thinks he’s great. Not once has he kept me waiting, and I am usually in and out in about 30 to 40 minutes tops (for cleanings and xrays). The staff is very friendly and personable, and the office is state-of-the art. If you are looking for a Dentist on the UWS, I highly recommend Dr. Wen!
