Hi my name is Kimberly and when I was young I was traumatized by a dentist that unfortunately stayed with me into my adulthood. It is extremely hard, wait did I say extremely hard, I meant to say EXTREMELY HARD for me to have a needle stuck in my mouth without feeling like I am going to faint. I have been going to this same office for over 25 years and I see JoEllen for my teeth cleaning (SHE IS AMAZING) and I have obviously gotten to know the team very well and have built up a trust knowing they will do EVERY thing they can to make sure I am as comfortable as I can be before they even begin any procedure. Well as you may know the dentist there for the past years (not sure how many) retired. This was a dentist I TRUSTED and he knew how hard it was for me to have dental work but he promised he would not hurt me and he kept that promise, which made it possible for me to easily go in and have fillings, veneers, crowns, etc done. OK moving forward to today. I woke up and realized I broke a tooth, well the veneer on my tooth broke off part way and I would need to have it fixed which meant having to have a shot in my mouth. I had only met 1 of the 2 new dentist there once and it was only because I was having JoEllen clean my teeth and he checked them afterwards. He was very very nice but today I would have to let someone I did not know or trust whatsoever put a needle in my mouth and do a procedure. Let’s just say I WAS A MESS!!!!!!!!! I know this is a long review but this one is IMPORTANT TO SHARE. I actually was given the shots by Dr. Derek did the procedure. THEY WERE SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not feel a thing!!!!!!!!!! They were so gentle and kind and caring and I can’t say THANK YOU enough for putting up with my extreme anxiety today. I am so thankful for both of you. Thank you Jennifer and Alex and to my rock, JoEllen, you are the best!!!!!!!!! I have to go back in 2 weeks to have the permanent veneer put on but I feel no anxiety whatsoever. I TRUST both of the Dr.’s and I am so thankful for them.

I have been seeing Dr. Derick for the last 4 years dating back from his old office. I drive a good hour to see him. If I didn’t trust him I wouldn’t make the hour drive. He is GREAT, the front counter staff and especially Joellen. Joellen does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. She pays a great attention to detail and is very concerned for patient health. This is what separates herself from other hygienist. Thank you for all your advise it really does play a factor in my daily hygiene. See you at my next appointment!

I used to see Dr. Derek at a previous office and went a couple years not liking the revolving door of dentists at his old office. I went out of my way to find him at his new practice. He’s 35 miles from my home and am so happy to call him my dentist again. These guys are the rockstars of dentistry. My bite is the best it has been with my new “diamond like” crowns. I cannot not begin express how amazing my experience was today at Empresa dental. I have been going to this office for 15 years and have always been impressed with the quality and professionalism. However, today surpassed all my previous experiences. I needed a dentist for my husband’s 92 year old father. He was having some pain in his teeth. Jennifer was able to fit me in the same day. Everyone was so kind and respectful to him. We were able to work out a treatment plan that fits his limited budget. I came here for the final step of my implant and was taken such great care of by Dr Derrick. My crown came out fabulous. But a few months later, food was still getting caught between it. I called the office and Dr Derrick called me right away. I came in the next morning and he said he would take some X-rays and talk to the lab to see if they could fix it. They could! So two weeks later it came back. He got it all adjusted and it felt much better and tighter. I called later that day after I ate lunch and excitedly told Jennifer that no food got caught! It’s always such a great experience here. Dr Derrick is so wonderful and his dedication to patients happiness is amazing.

From the time I entered the staff was friendly and professional. Alex was very gentle with her care and Dr. Derik was thorough and explained everything clearly regarding my dental needs. The hygienist Shelly was also great and really took her time making my teeth and gums feel amazing.

Dr. Nguy is a life saver! He did an extraction for me because I was in so much pain. I was scared at first but I was in and out of there pretty fast. So everyone hates going to the Dentist right? Well not anymore!!! I have had a wonderful experience with this office. My old dentist recently passed away and I was referred to Dr. Derick by several friends of mine so I thought I would give them a try. They are awesome. They take their time and explain everything before they do it. They have wonderful technology and put your pictures and x-rays on a flat screen in front of your chair so you can see exactly what their talking about and what they are doing. They are fast and efficient and they never try to up-sell me. I feel totally comfortable with both of them and the staff is warm and friendly. They remember everything about my last conversations with them. They ask about my family and just seem to really care. I had my first deep cleaning with Shelley and it was amazing! She took 3 appointments and 4 hours to complete it. It was the most thorough cleaning I have ever had and I was blown away. She was gentle and gave me great information. She taught me how to floss properly and i have seen a huge improvement in my gums and teeth ever since. I found a winner here and I am hooked. I don’t write many reviews but after my appointment this week, i felt compelled to share my experience. 5 stars all the way. Thank you Dr!!!

Came here for a check up and cleaning. Office staff was super nice and friendly. The dental hygienist who worked on my teeth did an excellent job. One of the thing noticed was that even though they seem pretty busy, there wasn’t a whole bunch of people waiting in the waiting room. This shows that they manage their time appropriately and they schedule patients appropriately. It’s important to know that your time is as valuable to them as it is to you. Definitely will come back again.

Dr. Nguy is my primary doctor since Empresa Dental opened and I am 100% satisfied every time I come in for my 6 month check up and cleaning. They do a very thorough job, in fact when examining my wife they discovered a lump on her throat, they highly recommended she get it checked out and sadly it was thyroid cancer, thankfully it was caught early enough that surgery was solution. And she is now cancer free! Thank you for saving my wife!!

These guys and their team are true professionals and take a conservative approach to dental care and work. They are not out for a quick buck.
In my late 50’s now and have had many dentist experiences and none have come close to this team. I had multiple crowns and some other work done and never felt pain, plus these Dr’s truly care about their patient’s. They even check in with you in the evening after complicated work is done to make sure you are doing well. Unheard of but very welcome to me! If you need dental work, or even a second opinion, go see these guys!
