I travel about 30 miles passing a lot of dentists offices to come here because it’s a step ahead of all my previous dentists. Dr B is a great person and Dentist! Their quality of labs are better. Their veneers and crowns look like real teeth. My mouth has become a work of art. Today I had my teeth cleaned by Sophie and it was one of the best cleanings I’ve ever had since my last best cleaning from Denise. Nicole is a great assistant! Awesome personality and does her job right. No jabbing you with instruments. She really pays attention to you, the doctor and what she is doing which I appreciate. Michelle did a really good job getting my night guard to fit after my new crown was put in. Seems like I got to experience lots of staff today and all of them were great!

Nicole is seriously so sweet, she made sure I was comfortable, she gave me ibuprofen before the whitening, seriously really nice girl. I received 6 veneers on my front upper teeth in 2007. Dr. Braunstein did an OUTSTANDING job on these and I regularly get compliments. I have been to about 4 dentists in my adult life and I felt very comfortable with Dr. Braunstein because he explained everything and set real expectations. I saw examples of his work and was confident in his abilities, so decided to go forward with the procedure. The result exceeded my expectation and I could not have picked a better dentist for this cosmetic case. He was gentle, easy going and the pricing was VERY fair. I have moved out of the area and even got major compliments from my current dentist. He asked what material was used, so I called to find out. Dr. Braunstein promptly returned my call, remembered me, and gave me the info I was seeking. There just isn’t any other dental facility quite like Dr. Gary Braunstein’s Encinitas Dental Care. I found Dr. Braunstein through a chance encounter with his mother over 20 years ago! I began going to Dr. Braunstein but lost my “approved” insurance carrier. Years passed and until I got the new coverage I now have, I could only hope to be able to return. I am now back with my “dental family” and am thrilled! Who do you know that can use the word “thrilled” when referring to a dentist! I originally went to Dr. Braunstein with a groupon for teeth whitening. Normally I would not do a group-on for a dentist without knowing his reputation and I’ve been going to another dentist for 20 years. With that said, I was VERY pleased with the whitening procedure. When he told me about a new technique for Veneers called Easy Smile, that he now offers, and can be done in one procedure, instead of the traditional very expensive Veneers where the natural tooth is nearly pulverized, I was interested but skeptical until I saw a patient of his that looks amazing (I couldn’t tell difference from his natural teeth). So after researching the product, I went for it. We did my top front 4 teeth in about an hour and a half. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. And I am very particular! I found out that Dr, Braunstein is also. The color is perfect and the shape is beautiful. My husband is quite discerning and after seeing me he is ready to have his done as well. VERY important…, he will do a sample tooth for free to match color and make sure you are pleased. It only takes a few minutes. The office help is friendly and knowledgeable and I have since discovered that many of my friends have gone to him for years! I’ve found a new dentist!

They work to accommodate your schedule and are so welcoming. My kids even enjoy going to get their teeth cleaned, including my youngest at 3 years loves it there, esp the treasure chest 😉 Beyond cleanings, I started going to Dr Braunstein to see what could be done about my severely twisted front teeth. Dr. B and his team are literally changing my life! I had always been self conscious of my teeth and wanted to do something about it but was nervous and just put it to the side. I walked in one day last June and got a consultation and the team wasn’t judgmental, condoning or rude, they were helpful and so nice. What a great experience! I have been using Dr Braunstein for 10 years in his Encinitas office. I live in San Diego but I have been making the trip because a great dentist is worth the trip. I’m in my mid 40’s and took bad care of my teeth when I was young and unfortunately that will eventually catch up to you. I needed my 2nd root canal in 20 years. Dr B referred me to his partner Dr AJ Marabeh who does his root canals. Dr AJ was super personable which I like! He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions beforehand. He made me feel very comfortable with his solid answers. Once it was time to get to work he numbed me up very good without painful needle pricks just pressure. During my root canal, his assistant Cristina was very on top of things. She worked well with DR AJ and they communicated very well together. She never gouged me, poked, prodded etc… not even once. My appointment was made the day before due to pain. It only took about 1 hour to do a molar with 3 canals. This was a much better experience the the root canal that I had done 20 years earlier. As soon as the numbness wore off I was able to eat solid food using my repaired tooth. I just woke up only 12 hours later from my appointment expecting to be very sore, however, it was only slight. I feel great! I am extremely happy with the service I received at a fair price too. I will continue to drive past hundreds of Dentists to get to Dr B and Dr AJ and I suggest you do too. Thank You Very Much!!!

Everyone in Dr. Braunstein’s office is very professional and kind. I had a horrible toothache on a Sunday and the pain was too much for me to wait until Monday. I saw him first at Groupon for Veneers and the price was the first think that made me give a ring , I always dreamed to have it done , but money was a issue for me back in Brazil , so I had done back home bounds instead of Veneers . With time they became Yellow and the shape wasn’t quite the way I want to have. So went to see him and his lovely dentist assistants and they were very professional , made me feel comfortable , took the time to explained every question , and did a sample test on one tooth. Denise is a great dental hygienist. Dr. Braunstein has done very good work on my teeth. Unfortunately, he runs over on time quite a bit. For nine months now, in three month increments, I have attempted to get a facial filling done after my cleaning appointment. The time in between getting done with my cleaning until the time he could see me has been at least 30 to 45 minutes each of those three times. I was not able to wait any longer due to my work schedule and had to leave all three times. Additionally, I was quoted a price and was informed today that that price would no longer be valid. It would go up from $59 to $98 for a cleaning. In fairness, they did honor the $59 this time, but would not in the future

I live in Chula Vista and therefore need to travel not only a long distance but I also have to fight the terrible traffic from the 5 south and back.
