This orthodontist has such a family feel to it. They make you and your family feel as comfortable as possible, they put you first and it shows through their hard work. They make the process of getting braces a lot simpler so you can understand whats going on. An example is me, they always make sure everything feels good and right and explain what they need to to my mom in spanish, which is another plus. I full heartedly recommend this orthodontist, you won’t regret working with them!

I work at this office as a lab assistant and I can truly say that I love my job !! Wonderful staff, and excellent results that I see everyday. The office is absolutely stunning; I thank the staff everyday for my very own gorgeous smile and I highly recommend this facility to anyone in the need of stellar orthodontics care.

Dr. Chenard is awesome! I had a crown break during dinner on a Saturday evening, and my husband gave him a call because my regular dentist was out of town for the holidays. He met us at his office after hours to take a look at my tooth. He consulted with my dentist over the phone to assure me what steps needed to be taken. I left with complete confidence and was satisfied with his diagnosis. Don’t go anywhere else. I totally recommend him for your dental needs and his office is way cool for children and adults.

Dr Chenard was amazing! I was in and out so fast. He was very professional with a fun and outgoing attitude along with the staff! He took great care of me. Highly recommend coming here. Staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome, not to mention the cool volks wagon in the front with the big tooth on top! Lol hard to miss. Amazing experience coming here!!

Dr Chenard and his team are the best. I worked with 2 prior orthodontists that did not meet the level of care that Dr Chenard shows. He is fantastic at explaining the process and answering any questions. Should any one ask me for an orthodontist, I will send them directly to Encinitas Orthodontics.

I have always been a little apprehensive about getting my teeth straightened since I am now an adult.  I thought I would have to get teeth taken out since I waited too long.  Dr. Torin told me I am a good candidate for Invisalign, and told me they can finish my work in half the normal time with a new vibration device.  I’m all on board and can’t wait to get started!  Office is awesome looking too.  They have classic video games in the waiting room.

Dr. Chenard actively listens to his patients wants and needs and then blends a plan for action based on cooperative preference. He is very personable and a great communicator. Goes beyond the call of duty when needed. HIs office is centrally located and is fun and hip for kids and adults alike. I would greatly recommend him to family, friends or new patients any time. A real gem!

My daughter recently had her braces removed and is thrilled with her smile. We were both very happy with the overall experience. Dr. Chenard and his front and back office teams were personable, professional, enthusiastic, and communicated very well with both myself and my daughter. Appointments were always on schedule and I appreciated the text and email appointment reminders. Care plans were clearly outlined. My daughter actually looked forward to her visits because it was such a comfortable and welcoming office. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Chenard to friends and will be bringing my other daughter to him if she requires orthodontics.

We are so glad to be in the hands of Dr. Chenard and his staff. With gentle hands and expertise we are so pleased with every step we’ve taken with them through our orthodontic treatments. Nothing is better than knowing your doctor really cares about what he’s doing and how you feel as a patient. We could not be in better hands. There are no words for just how amazing Encinitas Orthodontics has been to me. The service is absolutely outstanding and everyone is SO nice and wonderful there. I truly can say I feel like they are family and it is always so welcoming when I walk in. Every single appointment I had I looked forwards to weeks in advance!! Michelle has always been so helpful in catering to all my scheduling needs and bends over backwards to be helpful and change appointments to work for your schedule. Sam (Samantha) is so so so so sweet and such an amazing person, I love talking to her because she is so helpful and considerate!! She does such an amazing job and helps make your visit as comfortable as possible:)) keep it up Sam!! Anna is amazing as well and always helps to make the appointments the best they can be and talks you through everything she does which is very helpful!! I haven’t even began to talk about Dr. Chenard! From the moment we walked in he has been so amazing and considerate and works around your schedule. He answers all of my ridiculous questions and puts up with me when I pretend I know about orthodontics even though I just read a couple of Wikipedia pages!! He is such a nice guy and I wouldn’t want to have anyone else as my orthodontist. He is brilliant and I had such a short treatment time thanks to him!! 🙂 He and all of the Encinitas Orthodontics team have influenced me in my decision to go to dental school and become an orthodontist!(hopefully) Overall, this is the best place you could ever imagine to come and fix your teeth because they will help bring you into the world of perfect smiles and for that I am forever grateful.

I had nothing but pleasant experiences during my treatments with Torin at Encinitas Orthodontics. I was greeted with a warm welcome, genuine smiles from the staff and was accommodated immediately, never even having to sit down to wait. Torin was so patient and took his time with me to create and help me maintain my best smile which I will be grateful for for a lifetime! He explained the procedures beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect and clearly answered any questions I had. He made sure I understood how to follow his treatment plan so I can put my best smile forward, thanks to my custom made retainers. Its clear that Torin and his staff genuinely care and love what they do. In addition to thoughtful, personable care, the vibe of his office is so fun and uplifting. Time flies because there is so much interesting decor to admire including beach themed artwork and a gorgeous hand-painted jungle mural on the ceiling. I greatly appreciate the high quality of Torin’s work and the positive atmosphere they create. I would highly recommend his treatment and care to anyone!

I love this office!  Dr. Chenard is a very trustworthy guy.  I went to him because my dentist told me I could benefit from having my teeth aligned.  Dr. Chenard gave me several options and told me that my bite was healthy but that I could align my teeth more if I wanted to.   I decided to get retainers to keep my teeth straight and maintain my healthy bite.  They even let me pick a custom design for my retainers. Im super stoked!

Recently I moved to San Diego and needed some attention regarding the molding on the back of my teeth.  I called all around and found that Encinitas Orthodontics was the most flexible.  Dr. Torin Chenard and his team are excellent!  They really took the time to know what work I had done, and explained the options I had clearly.  I have invested a lot of money in my teeth/smile, and I am glad that I now have  Encinitas Orthodontics to protect that investment.

Where do I begin? Place is very clean. Staff very supportive. Process very efficient. Emergency responsiveness terrific and immediate. Lobby has great surfing books (extra). Seriously though, my daughter has had absolutely no issues during the treatment. No one is a perfect patient and our daughter Niko, 14-15, has had the usual challenges ( losing that, didn’t follow through diligently, etc.), but Dr. Chenard followed through and responded with patience and appropriate care. That included, by the way, late evening and early morning phone calls to the emergency telephone number provided WHICH ACTUALLY WORKS! The only wish is that, though you find a way to work around it, the office stayed open at least one extra day a week. Considering all the things Dr. Chenard is engaged in, it is what it is, and we have managed ok. Anyway, if you are looking for an Ortho clinic, go talk to the doctor and see it for yourself. You’d see what I am saying.

I’ve known Dr. Chinard for nearly 20 years going back to our undergraduate studies at UC San Diego. He has been a great friend, and is a man of high character coupled with a friendly disposition and infectious laugh. From a professional standpoint, Dr. Chinard is passionate about his patients’ results and has a wonderful staff taboot. I would unhesitatingly refer friends and family to Dr. Chinard for their orthodontic needs.
