I Drive From Boone NC To Have Dr. Engel, Dr. Shirk and his team of professionals Make The Difference In My Smile! My 1st appointment was everything I was hoping for. CT Scan, teeth cleaning and a treatment plan that is actually affordable. Ive had 4 extractions, and I will have 3 implants. So far Dr. Engel performed 2 extractions & 1 bone graft. Dr. Shirk who is absolutely awesome. He makes extractions simple with no pain during or afterwards. He takes time to examine and perform his job accurately while explaining everything he is doing. He truly cares about each patient. He has performed my last bone graft and it is healing nicely. Dr. Engel Institute offers the live surgery classes for implants making it affordable as a patient. Sherry will help you with billing and making sure you are provided with the help from financial institutions. Candace is so very kind and extremely helpful with any questions and always has a smile. Ivey is just wonderful. She has been so very kind and so tboughtful with all I have been getting done and assisting me with appointments. State of the Art facility! I was so impressed and loved the slow back massage built into the dental chair while getting my teeth cleaned by Meghan who was truly AWESOME! Plus the hand held X-Ray gun was remarkable, pain free and images show up immediately on their computer screen. WOW! I had no idea what I was missing and no longer dread getting my teeth cleaned. The staff was incredible and made me feel right at home. I HIGHLY recommend the Engel Dental Center. It is impressive!!

17 years of24/7 burning searing pain on my palate behind my front tooth…and now Thanks to Dr. Engel I am free of the pain and getting my “old” life back. I knew I was in good hands as soon as I arrived…staff was very warm & welcoming. Also it’s a State of The Art facility! Then I met Dr. Engel and my confidence skyrocketed. He carefully explained with the visual of the CT Scan that I did not have the permanent damage I had been told I had but rather a different issue….he knew what it was and he knew how to fix it! It was a a 30 minute procedure that has changed my life. A few words about Dr. Engel….not only is he extremely skilled, he is also an extraordinary person. Caring, compassionate and supportive…he understood my pain and its impact on my life. He also went the extra mile with a personal phone call the evening of the procedure to see how I was doing (and also again several days later) And his staff…an amazing team who immediately put me at ease. Their care, concern and empathy made the process so much easier. I highly recommend the The Engel Institute/Dental Center and I am so grateful to Dr. Engel and his incredible team for giving me back a pain free life.

On Saturday, November 23rd I walked into Engel Dental Center a nervous wreck as I was about to have 3 implants done. Fear did take me over a I am so afraid of Dentist. Dr Engel and his team plus the visiting DDS are phenomenal. The experience was pain free and the Dr and staff ensured they were funny as “Tom & Jerry”. Today is Sunday, 11/34 and family and friends have been checking in to find out how I was doing. Absolutely no pain, no discomfort. Dr Engel had told me it was going to be among the best experiences I have had. It feels like a day at the beach in Jamaica. I am amazed at the expertise. Looking for an expert in the field of Dentistry etc, please call Engel Dental Center before your make another decision. IlThe prices are the best. First let me disclose, I am scared of the dentist and I’ve never had a toothache. Today I had an extraction and dental implant. I was quite nervous. Dr. Engel and his team were awesome! I recieved moderate sedation and within a short time I was completely comfortable with no anxiety. Dr. Engel and his team were awesome! 12 hours later i’m home with minimal discomfort. No pain medication taken and using an ice pack. Did I mention Dr. Engel and his team are awesome!

When I first saw this advertisement about this dental office my first thought, another scam because I’ve never seen implants this inexpensive. So of course I did my research. What caught my attention was that everything was done in one location. That was a major plus for me so went ahead and schedule my first appointment. I had my first appointment at Dr. Engel’s office yesterday and I must say everyone was so nice, smiles on their faces. And the inside is to die for. Just gorgeous. Love the color scheme. Brittney was a sweetheart and she made me feel comfortable. Mrs Engel is a beautiful and caring person and she listens to the patients. Thanks for letting me share my story with you. Dr. Engel has a great personality and a beautiful smile and a caring attitude. Dr. Raymond has a beautiful smile and a great personality also. I have to have a lot of work that needs to be done and I told him what my wish was and he provided me detailed information. I am super excited about my new journey. Not only is the decor modern but the equipment used is state-of-the-art. This is the type of dental center you’d expect to be in South Park but with down-to-earth people. Everyone there carries a sense of calmness and happiness. Everyone is laid back, skilled and professional. I wanted to find a skilled dental surgeon, continually learning new technology and procedures who didn’t treat me like a number or a potential commission. I found that here. Dr. Engel and his staff are incredibly talented and welcoming. It’s a hidden gem in Charlotte. Dr. Engel has some very high end clientele but his costs are competitive. I have struggled a long time with my gum disease and knew I needed to do something permanent but did not know where to go. Had 7 implants done without a hitch. Dr Engle has and teaches his own system of implants that is so much less invasive and painful then all the other Dentist Dr Engle and his staff are the most friendly, caring and professional dental staff I have ever had the pleasure of being under the care of. The office itself is new and very clean. I shopped around a lot before getting my teeth done and was surprised how affordable this practice was. I love my new Dentist. I came in very scared and didn’t know what to expect. I was greeted by Emily the dental hygienist she cleaned my teeth, did my xrays and she is amazing. I also had a bad filling that was giving me pain from a prior dental office, it was very uncomfortable to eat certain foods without pain. I knew this wasn’t normal. My prior dentist told me it would get better but it never did. I met Dr. Shirk & he came in and saved the day! He went above and beyond to make sure my tooth was repaired. I didn’t expect to get my tooth repaired in the same day but he did it! He saved my tooth from having to get a root canal. Which was my biggest fear. He’s very thorough, easy to talk to, and he also explains everything he’s doing while working on your teeth. He also listens to your needs. Did I also mention that I barely had any pain?! His technique is BOMB lol! The best dentist by far that I’ve gone to. I can eat again without any pain. I also met Dr. Engel and Dr. Hannah they were all so amazing and kept me laughing. Do not hesitate to come here you won’t regret it! I will be back soon to get more work done. And I will be referring everyone I know who needs dental care. I’m so glad I did.

This is my second review of the Engel Institute. At this point in time I have had my bottom teeth extracted, the implants inserted, and the temporary teeth put in place. They look awesome ! This process was all completed in 6 hours which in itself is amazing. I was extremely apprehensive and nervous going into this but Dr. Engel calmly assured me that they would be gentle. His exact words were ” you havent seen gentle yet.” The team of dentist assigned to me were great. I would not refer to them as students but rather masters learning a new skill set. They all treated me with kindness and respect. They constantly checked with me to assure I was comfortable. For years I’ve been in pain. I have always been extremely sensitive to anything that was hot, cold, and anything sweet. For years I’d go to my dentist every 3 months to get cleanings and deep scaling just to try to save my teeth and prevent further bone loss. And and would always hear ” this is just terrible” until it came the day she said ” there is just nothing more I can do for you I’d like for you to see a specialist “. Dr Engel was that specialist. He looked at me with a big smile and says “this isn’t your fault and I can fix this.” I feel truly blessed to have met him and his staff.

I been to many dentists in my life but I’ve never come across anyone quite like Dr. Engel. My situation was causing me an enormous amount of anxiety. I had lost 3 upper left teeth and had limited income on top of that to deal with. I didn’t think it was possible but Dr Engel came up with a plan that will work for me. His understanding and compassion have helped to ease my anxiety. His staff have been extraordinary and have done so much to help put me at ease. I really don’t know what I would have done if I had not found out about Dr Engel. I highly recommend the Engle Institute.
