Five stars are hardly enough to give this exceptionally fine dentist and his team!!!! I met Dr. Ty on a flight, and because of his warm, friendly, and affable manner I immediately connected with him. I’d been interested in Invisalign but thought I was too “senior” to be a good candidate. Dr. Ty put me at ease by sharing his mother’s experience with Invisalign, and assuring me that a treatment to straighten my teeth and improve my smile was possible. Well, I was all in right then and there!!! Within a few weeks, Dr. Ty had developed a treatment plan, reviewed it in detail with me, and my first trays were on the way!!! The entire process, start to finish, working with Dr. Ty and his team, was a pleasure. He was completely in tune with my needs, always checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied with the progression. Dr. Ty tweaked, revised, and reworked as necessary, at the various stages of treatment and this always showed me his intent to “get it right.” Focused, diligent, capable, and fun…. these all describe Dr. Ty!!!! But wait…..there’s more!! Not only is this dentist a real professional, he’s a real ARTIST whose creativity and sensitivities pervade his entire practice. Thank you, Dr. Ty, for sharing your artistry with me to create my new smile! I love it!!! The office decor is beautiful with a warm ambiance. The equipment is state-of-the-art. And, most importantly, each and every one of Dr. Ty’s staff is wonderful, warm, upbeat and just plain lovely!!! Thank you, everyone at Etheridge Family Dentistry, for your genuine care of me!!

Dr. Ty and Dr. D.H. are the first dentists in my whole life to accurately tell me what was going on in my mouth! Previously I’ve had dentists complaining about my mouth being too small and that I wasn’t brushing my teeth properly – when I was flossing, brushing and using a water-pick and seeing a dentist at least every 6 months. I was frustrated beyond belief. Dr. Ty and Dr. D.H. spent time explaining what had gone wrong and how they could fix it. A year later, we are not there yet, but probably half way there in correcting all that was wrong in my mouth. A big thank you to them both; and I highly recommend these dentists, especially to those people who have major problems with a need for successful and compassionate treatment.

I’ve experienced dental practices elsewhere. I first was seen by Dr Etheridge when he was in practice with another dentist in Woodinville, almost 20 years ago. I found him when I returned after 6 years on the east coast. I’m glad I did. He has managed to assemble an amazing staff, the from receptionists at front desk to the several hygienists (I have been seen by 3 of them). I have been wonderfully taken care of by all. The feel like my team rather than a practice. Even walking into the office has a different easy feel to it. I’ve had a few cavities, a few teeth needing root canals. Nobody likes to experience these, I’m sure. But, “Dr. Ty” and his team are personable, capable, efficient, caring and empathetic. They let me know what was going on and what was to be expected next. My oral health is significantly improved. In one very unusual situation, across 6 years, Dr. Ty was actually monitoring (with specific X-rays and inspection at every visit), a tooth that had been damaged by another dentist some time ago. But rather than being hasty to take action, while none was needed, none was done. As this tooth was otherwise ok, lacked any pain or other indications, and seemed to be stable, no. hasty action was taken. But, when things suddenly and surprisingly took a turn for the worse between checkups, a plan of specific action was quickly established and executed. This was done in concert with his colleague, Dr. On, the periodontist. ALL was resolved over several well choreographed visits, in house, and beautifully so. I cannot say enough good about Dr Oh, Dr. Ty Etheridge and Dr. Ty’s entire staff.

I’ve never had a enjoyable experience with the dentist UNTIL I had become a patient with Dr. Ty at Etheridge Family Dentistry. Every visit is comforting and positive, which has left my smile feeling & looking great! Even with all of the major dental work I’ve had completed the dental assistant’s have always made the journey stress free. What I especially like is the time Dr. Ty takes after my visits to explain to me the work that has been completed, as well as what I can do to improve my dental hygiene and reach my future dental goals. Recently I had to have a tooth extraction completed. This had to happen after I went to a dentistry in California that had conducted a Malpractice with my previous extraction (most uncomfortable I’ve ever been in a dental chair). So I returned back to Washington so I could have it completed correctly with Dr. Ty and Family. Which it did get extracted under the hands and care of Dr. O. With Dr. O, this being the first time we met. He was sure to first introduce himself and the work he would be completing. He allowed time for me to understand exactly how the procedure would proceed as well as went above and beyond to make sure any questions or concerns I had we met with in-depth breakdowns and answers. Not only was my experience with Dr. O enjoyable at the dentistry he made sure to follow up with me to ensure proper healing as taken place. Overall when all is said and done, this dentistry has been beyond professional and comforting with all of my experiences (10 plus years). They only allow 5 stars on here but if I could I’d leave 10!!!

Just had a seamless experience with an implant. Dr Ty and Dr DH worked closely together and it was nice to have the couple-step process done in the same office. The doctors and staff kept things comfortable with good communication along the way. Dr Ty has been treating our family for over 10 years and we have been very happy with the excellent care and friendly environment. Our kids have grown up completey comfortable with going to the dentist. Dr Brent is also a great addition to the office.

Dr. Ty may be one of the most fabulous dentists on this planet. My husband and I have been seeing him since we moved to Seattle and have always thought his office was great-very knowledgable staff, friendly, dedicated Dr., cutting edge technology/tools etc. Recently though, Dr. Ty demonstrated a kind of concern and dedication you just don’t see in the medical profession anymore. My son (9 yrs) flipped off his bike and broke off his two front teeth in the evening (after office hours). Despite the fact that my son saw a different, kid’s dentist, we knew immediately who to call! Dr. Ty called me right back, interrupted an evening run, opened up his office, and found an assistant in time for me to meet him over there with my terrified kid. He literally stood there, and rebuilt my son’s teeth so perfectly that people cannot tell that he broke them!  Needless to say, we were filled with gratitude and my son’s parting words after we left his office were, “Mom, I want Dr. Ty to be my dentist too-forever”.  So, the very next day we transferred both kids’ records over! He also quickly followed up with our orthodontist and lined up an appt with an endodontist for us. We are forever grateful for Dr. Ty and for his willingness to help us in our time of need, even though it wasn’t convenient for him. A million thanks Dr. Ty!!!

I have been a patient of Ty Etheridge’s for ten years, and not only is he an exceptional dentist, he truly treats patients holistically. From fillings to incredible cosmetic work, to being part of my care team involved in my chronic migraines, he has been a supportive and impressively knowledgeable provider. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dr Etheridge’s office was recommended to me by two separate friends. I didn’t call him until the Friday of Christmas weekend, when I suddenly found myself with a broken molar and my insurance running out in 8 days. Dr. Etheridge answered my call while on a ski vacation and arranged for his assistant to see me right away to take care of me until he could. Dr. Spencer was friendly, efficient and good at explaining things. I was preliminarily patched up and heading home in under 2 hours of calling them. Then Dr. Etheridge managed to make time for me the next day, Saturday, 12/23 (even though he was supposed to be on vacation for the next week) and gave me a temporary crown and made an impression for a permanent crown to put in later. He not only was a great explainer and listener, he made sure I had a comfortable blanket to keep warm while I watched Netflix while he worked. Afterward, he pointed out points of concern with my teeth that he would recommend we take preemptive measures on. I would have become an enthusiastic patient of this office based on my in-office experience alone. How Dr Etheridge bent over backward to work with my situation and take care of me over the holidays despite his vacation has earned my eternal loyalty.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ty for nearly a decade, he’s the best! His work is high-quality, his staff is kind and gentle (I came into his practice with SEVERE dental anxiety and over the years and with their kindness it has improved so so so much), I have never been so confident about my smile. The dental work he has done has held up superbly, much better than the stuff that was in my mouth when I arrived at his practice upon recommendation of a friend, and any time someone mentions they’re in the market for a dentist I recommend him immediately.

I live in Kingston, Ontario, CANADA — thousands of kilometres from Seattle. Last June, my wife and i were visiting my nephew who lives in Seattle. While having a bite to eat in a restaurant, the crown on one of my front teeth broke and fell off. This was a disaster and I dreaded the thought of spending the remainder of our dream vacation avoiding looking at people or smiling. My nephew suggested that I see his dentist, Dr. Ty whom he touted as the best dentist on the West coast. We were departing on an Alaskan cruise the next day and I did not think it would be possible to see such a busy professional on such short notice. I resigned myself to having to wait another 9 days before I could return to Canada and have the Crown replaced by my own dentist. Miraculously, Dr. Ty, who undoubtedly has a very busy practice, was able to fit me in early the very next morning and repaired the broken crown. He did a great job!! This permitted me to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Dr. Ty and his staff were most courteous and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Thank you Dr. Ty! You saved my vacation. May you continue to enjoy good health and good fortune.
