I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Vivona at the Eugene Dental Group since mid-2017. I am very happy that I was referred by my family to Dr. Vivona. She is very professional and caring and her staff is all excellent. Last Monday, I called first thing in the morning for an appointment as I was experiencing significant dental pain. They were able to squeeze me in for an appointment that day, diagnose the problem and get me in to see a referral endodontist, Dr. Tian Xia, the following day for a root canal. They made it all seamless and painless. Excellent!

I have had the best dental experience with this group. They are all the most caring people. The front office is friendly & helpful. The dentists are perfectionists, artists & experts in their field. They are also very gentle & have small steady hands. I have had cleanings with 3 of the hygienists, Mindy, Mandy, & Emily They were all very gentle, thorough & informative. The dental assistants Gwen & JR really know their stuff & are friendly, kind & attentive to your needs. Their sterile technique & infection control are state of the art. I feel very safe there. I have also had the opportunity to work with this group & in my 40+ years of dental assisting, they are at the top of my list. I recommend this office to everyone.

You know those people who are fearful of going to the dentist? Well, I am one of them. Going to the dentist is not my favorite activity — I’d rather be hiking or enjoying a glass of wine (or hiking and drinking wine simultaneously — but then again, that’s not very wise, considering the likelihood of a nearby tree root to trip over). But we all need to see our dentist and in that respect, Dr. Vivona is top-notch. She listens, is compassionate, non-judgmental, yet very thorough and professional. She tells you what she is doing and how that will impact you before you experience it. No surprises! She is also very gentle. When she tells you there will be no pain, she ensures that is what you will experience. Her staff – the front desk and the hygienists are all wonderful. This is a friendly office and you will feel welcome here.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Vivona. I purposefully waited to write this review until after several appointments for different things (cleaning, crown, fillings, etc). I have visited her office 10 times now. Everyone in this office is consistently very friendly and helpful; making you feel like family, while still being professional and maintaining the highest level of CoViD protection. Also very knowledgeable and efficient. They are always considerate of my time, preferences, and anxieties. Dr. Vivona and her staff have far exceeded all of my expectations. If you don’t like dentists this is the doctor and office you have been looking for!

I brought my 2-year-old twin daughters in for their first visit to the dentist, & they absolutely LOVED it. Dr. Vivona’s office is a pleasure to visit. I actually feel more relaxed after walking in the door. The staff always greets me by name and they have provided me with top level care since I have been a patient here. There is always a discussion about my insurance benefits so I know what to expect even if we don’t know the exact dollar coverage, they let me know that too. During treatment whether it is a routine cleaning or a more involved procedure I am always made to feel comfortable and can ask any questions or voice concerns. So courteous, professional and personable from the initial phone call to make the appt to checking out. Madison is polite and helpful. Codi was exceptional. Great personality and very calm demeanor. Always checking to make sure the cleaning was comfortable for me and took a great history for the dentist. Dr Vivona addressed my concerns. I asked her to be a second opinion on some dental recommendations from a previous dentist and she took it pretty seriously. She is gentle and seems very knowledgeable. Not quick to do unnecessary dental work. She won some award… Register Guard’s Readers’ Choice Awards. I don’t know what it is, but it sounds like a big deal.

Without a doubt, this is the best dentist’s office I’ve ever visited. Just to give you an idea of how much I like this practice, I left Eugene over a year ago, and still drive an hour and a half, because I don’t think I can find a better experience. I’ve had a lot of trouble with my teeth in my life, and have felt a lot of shame and embarrassment about it. On top of that, I’d generally rather be hit by a train than have someone touch my teeth. But Dr. Vivona and her staff are unflinchingly kind and patient. The Office Manager Shanna, has consistently dropped what she was doing to answer my questions, and always goes out of her way to make sure that things are as convenient as possible for me. I just can’t say enough good things. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I really feel that they deserve to be recognized for the incredible job they do. Also, I got to meet the office puppy Otis today, and I was over the moon about it.

Everyone in this office is professional, kind and caring. My almost adult daughter needed some work done, and we had a short timeline to use our insurance. They put us on a cancellation list and managed to get us in right away, and get the work done before the insurance ran out. Being as objective as I possibly can, I am truly proud of my daughter’s commitment to dentistry, This is not a job for her, it is her absolute passion! She insists on taking care of my teeth whenever we visit. After 71 years of experiencing numerous dentists back in New York and Ohio, I am truly impressed with the confidence in her that I feel when she is working on me. Her office staff is wonderfully professional, competent and very nice. Yesterday, I received a new crown and numerous filling replacements, and I never “winced” once!
