Check out what some of our happy patients are saying about us:

I like Dr Amores.  The staff in the office are really nice, as well.  I’ve been going to her ever since my previous dentist retired. Dr Amores acquired the office and, I guess, some patients. Once, I parked in a one-hour lot and Connie (Amores’ assistant) asked me for my license plate number and offered to fill the meter if I needed more than an hour.  That’s service! Dr Amores is a bit on the rough side when cleaning, but I don’t mind.  It’s not painful. She apparently had a bad dental experience as a child, so she uses copious amounts of novacaine (the whole side of my head was numb one time) and checks-in often to make sure you’re comfortable. I’ve had cleaning, filling replacements and teeth-whitening done there.  Oh, and I got a mouth guard as well.  All procedures were done with care and done well. Once my husband broke a filling while in Europe and Dr Amores made it clear that it would be no problem to make an appointment for him as soon as he returned. I’d highly recommend her.

Overall great experience with Dr Amores, pain free as it can get, even the Novocaine injection was easy, so far I have had a cleaning, cavity and a tooth whitening session, my insurance covered all except for the cosmetic dentistry, she is located conveniently near Union Square not far from the Bart stop.

Even though visiting the dentist maybe notorious, Aesthetic Dental Center does a complete 180. With state of the art technology and entertainment as dental work is being preformed, the little black lap dog helps to sooth, for some, a difficult time. thank you, I’m super confident to smile now!

Paige A. from Oakland, CA (Source: Yelp)

I had a really bad dental experience when I was a child so I avoided making an appointment until I had a real problem. Dr. Amores was very gentle, caring, and compentent. Her and her staff really know what they are doing and really know how to make you feel at home. Now I am able to avoid extensive and expensive dental visits because I feel comfortable coming to an office regularly now. Thank-you Dr. Amores!!!

Kelly S. (Source: Zocdoc)

Kind, professional, courteous and trustworthy. Rather than fictitiously create problems with your teeth so she can get paid more and have more work to do, she is honest and trustworthy. She will tell you kindly the state of your teeth and is extremely helpful and caring. Her staff is wonderful to work with. I cannot say enough good things about each of them–especially Wendy at the front desk. I highly recommend her of you need a dentist you can trust.

Aldrich R. from Clovis, CA (Source: Yelp)

I’m very impressed with the service that Dr Amores provided.  Before her, I’ve just been going to any regular dentist since it was a biannual thing that was drilled into our minds since childhood. I enjoyed her office with the TV’s to help distract me from the fact that i’m actually sitting in a dental office.  also, for the dog lovers out there, the little cuddlier with four legs made the experience even more calming and assuring.  And for those who aren’t much into animals, this little guy is far from attention seeking. From my experience, the dental.medical suggestions that Dr. Amores provided was more then informative. I especially liked her calm demeanor and assertive speech making it easy to understand and making a situation that can be full of criticism to something that i would be more open to listening. Over all, with the amazing customer service, gentle hands to a sensitive part of anyone’s body, state of the art ways to distract patients without the use of pharmaceuticals and that pleasant little dog, my visit with Dr. Amores was more then satisfactory.  I’ll be sure to follow up and look for her services for most if not all my dental needs.

Christina B. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

If you are like me and get nervous for dental appointments it is important to find someone that makes you feel comfortable and eases your anxiety. My family dentist is in LA but, I live in SF now and need someone a bit closer. Dr. Amores made me feel very safe about sitting in her chair. She does it all and she does it well! This is perfect because I don’t have to worry about building relationships with multiple dentists. I broke a tooth in an accident so it required a root canal and I was already very overdue for a filling that required a crown. My father was a long time dental assistant and has been inspecting our mouths after dental work for as long as I can remember. He was very happy with the results. The experience was overall relaxing with warm, lemon scented, towels, strawberry chapstick and a coffee mug filled with hygiene goodies! The only thing missing is a coffee station to fill my new mug!

Amazing as always! The only dentist experience I’ve actually enjoyed. I’ve always feared the dentist even if it’s just a cleaning and Dr. Amores and her team always makes me feel comfortable and she remembers me each time. And very convenient location to get to via Bart.

Susan B. from Fairfield, CA (Source: Yelp)

Dr Amores and her staff are wonderful! I have been to many dentists in my travels and she is the best. She explains all the procedures and what could happen with the procedure or consequences of not doing anything! Her staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I’m so happy I found her!

Mary D. from New York, NY (Source: Yelp)

I recieved a letter in the mail from dr. amores’s office with a new patient coupon and since i am new to the city and have not yet found a dentist, i figured id go try it out for a cleaning.  it turned out to be a great experience-the receptionist was already expecting me and knew who i was when i walked in and i was taken pretty much immediately after filling out the paperwork.  after her assistant, connie took my x-rays, she and dr. amores did my cleaning.  it was quick, thorough, and as painless as a dental cleaning can be.  they sent me out with a little toothbrush kit and their availabilities for future appointments.  i left feeling super clean and like i had gotten a great service, especially for the value with the coupon.  its a relief and refreshing to have had such a pleasant experience with an entire office that i can depend on for future appts.  thanks guys!

It was the first time I had drilling done for a filling. I was concerned about the options of the procedure and if the pain. Dr. Amores explained everything very calming, completely and was very professional. I am older and have had a lot of dental work done in the past by other dentists. She is at the top in all regards.

Deborah L. from Mission, San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Amores for many years. Besides being a fabulous and competent dentist, she is enormously caring and a phenomenally well educated and fascinating person. Her dog, Wendell, will sit on your lap and is a great therapy dog for nervous patients. Nothing is more calming during a long dental procedure than a cute little dog sleeping in your lap (his services are optional and gratis).  The staff, Connie and Wendy, are extremely thoughtful and sensitive. Everyone feels like family in the office and it is a pleasure to go there. There is no push to “sell” procedures and all the members of my family (with very different personalities, teeth, and attitudes about dentists) feel welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend Aesthetic Dentistry.

Laura P. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

Who likes going to the dentist? Well shoot I think I do now! These ladies will make you feel right at home. First time I’ve ever cracked up with my jaw wider than I thought possible, not to mention while having my pearly white drilled. I highly suggest going here for quick procedures and kind practice.

Evan F. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

I was very satisfied with the dental treatment  I received from Dr. Amores. It involved a number of front teeth and really changed my smile to a large degree, all  for the better. Dr. Amores was very caring and really took an interest in my case making me feel confident and comfortable with the procedures being done. The staff was friendly and supportive which helped as well. I would recommend this office to anyone needing dental work. Overall a very relaxed, professional and caring enviroment which helped to create a favorable experience tor myself.

I like it here, our patients are awsome, Dr. Amores is an excellent dentist who is very passionate about providing the best dental treatment to all of our patients. So to all of you who is looking for a dentist, call me (415)277-7220. I hope to hear from you soon!!!!!

Evangeline A. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

I have been going to Dr. Amores for 7 years now and I must say she made a difference in the way I think of dentists. I needed a ton of dental work because I was neglectful of my teeth before I came to her. It was not easy and it took a long time. They were able to help me with financing and now, I can honestly say it was well worth it !!!!! I get a lot of complement with my smile and I only go now for check ups every 6 months. A lot less painful and cheaper. Her staff definitely makes me feel cared for.

I love Dr. Amores. The only thing I didn’t like about this experience is ZOCDOC which sent me to the wrong address — TWICE. I though it was the wrong address in the first email so I emailed ZOCDOC specifically to make sure I had the right address. They sent me an email saying that they had checked and assured me that the wrong address was the right one. It made for a frustrating morning. I am happy to recommend Dr. Amores but not ZOCDOC.

I have trusted in Dr. Amores for at least 20 years. She is efficient and super experienced, plus she is fun to talk to and knows me now like an old friend. During this time, her office is taking precautions so I felt reassured being there. I would recommend her to anyone. Plus I love her little dog, Wendell, who is always in his little bed in the office when I come.

Michelle M. from New York (Source: Yelp)

I recently had a root canal done there, it was the fastest I have had one yet, and virtually pain free once the novocaine set in, Dr Amores is a friendly easy going classy lady with a very cute Chihuahua dog, if you request it the dog will sit quitely and cuddily n your lap during your entire visit, which I opted for and kept me calm and happy for the whole procedure, her prices are competitive and she took my insurance, I was referred by a friend and I will go back, although I am going to suggest that she eliminate one of these two yelp pages.

Nobbi L. from Pismo Beach, CA (Source: Yelp)

Well, since Jack did this review, I guess, I should also. As a “health care professional” (it gets worse: i’m actually an MD), I don’t like to review “my own”. I used to go to my dentist Rose Satterfield at the same location. I originally was referred to Rose by my Lesbian resident psychiatrist friend and colleague “laura the lesbian” who was a vegetarian except for her breakfast bacon. (She is doing well in Guam!) I loved Rose. She introduced herself as Rose. She had a child who was married to a German and they lived in Augsburg. She would play German Christmas carrols in her office. She had this great office assistant/dental assistant hazel. I saw her meet a guy, move in, get married (wtf?), and then realize that that was not right. Too bad. I was sorry for her. Finally she retired early and moved back to the east coast to be closer to her kid in europe. Dr. Amores took over her practice. I went back to the office and had a cleaning. Her assistant Hazel, whom I had known thru pregnancy and other things was still there. I had a cleaning. OMG. It was so messy with water everywhere. I was not impressed. But it was my issue. When I introduced myself as Nobbi (remembering “Rose”), she told me that she was Dr. Amores. I was a jerk and told her in that case I was Dr. Lampe. Anyway, I didn’t want to go back. Jack kept going back and really liked her. For a while I got my dental care from a German dentist in my parents little village. He’s a personal friend of mine and I got free service. Well, when I had a pseudo emergency with an onlay falling out after eating sticky rice, I called Dr. Amores’ office and got an appointment immeadiately. After that I was sold. Great skills. Great office help. I’ve been extremely pleased with her services. I’m not sensitive. Dr. Amores has a tendency to be rough but I really like it. Lots of anesthetic, so don’t worry about pain. I had a deep scaling without any pain afterwards. So if you want a very competent dentist, with great skills, I would highly recommend Dr. Amores. And I am a health care professional! (big grin).

After moving to the bay area from NY I was referred to Dr Amore by a friend. I really like her friendly style and high tech gadgetry as well as her flexible billing and willingness to work with almost all insurance providers and the best part is the lack of pain…she has helped correct some badly done work from years ago, cavities and a root canal in the last few years, highly recommended for those that are scared of dentists…and get this she even has a therapy dog a really sweet chiuhuah named wendell who will sit quietly in your lap as she is working on you if you request it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amores for about 7 years now and I must say I trust her 100 %. She is very good, thorough, and is not crooked at all. Her fees are reasonable and she keeps her patient’s welfare in mind first and foremost. I’m happy to say that after all my BIG teeth issues have been taken cared of, I just go twice a year now for my check up and cleaning and I haven’t had any pain in a long time.Very happy with her and her staff.

Awesome care of my money maker!!!! They were very professional along with the mix that i felt like family was handling my dental needs. Ive had my bi annual cleanings and also had my invisiline managed by this facility. I come all the way from Fresno to SF to have Dr Amores handle my teeth (about a 3 hour drive). And I’ll continue to come even if it’s further. Thanks Dr Amores for your thorough care of my teeth.

I had 3 deep caries that all hit me at once, I was in a lot of pain and was able to be taken care of relatively quickly by Dr. Amores.  The staff is very friendly, the office is tiny with 3 chairs so you get more attention from the Dr., your x-rays pop up immediately on the laptops in each room, she is slightly on the rough side as others have said before but she has done excellent work on my 3 teeth.  I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t afford to pay for it all so she also let me setup installments which was really nice.  I will be sure to visit this dentist every six months after my problems are taken care of, I look forward to seeing Dr. Amores long term.  She was recommended to me by one of her patients who had a root canal and said she uses plenty of lidocaine, I am a very sensitive person and she made sure I was totally numb before doing anything so I was very appreciative of that.  I had swollen and infected gums around the back of my lower right second molar, she gave me an atridox treatment (antibiotic gel that hardens and time releases medication) and did scaling and planing and the tooth feels about 95% better.  Dr. Amores relieved a lot of severe pain for me and for that I have no choice but to give 5 stars.

Maria H. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

Dr. Amores and staff are fantastic. Myself and my husband have been attending Dr. Amores for 4-5 years and we’ve both gone through several root canal treatements, crowns and fillings so that now we’ve got excellent dental health. My husband has had a porcelain veneer done at the surgery on one of his front teeth which is super and I am currently having invisalign treatment and so far am totally happy with it. You get a lot of attention from the Dr due to small surgery size which is good. I definitely don’t find her rough as some other contributors have suggested. She’s generally kind, chatty and gives you heads ups throughout procedures as to what delights are next coming your way which is very reassuring for a nervous patient like me. Very happy with this dentist.

I travel 3 hours to see Dr. Evangeline. She’s the best!! Very patient and thorough with my cleaning. The people in the office are exceptionally friendly. I love that they greet me by my name and that they’re easy to talk to. My wait was less than 5 minutes upon arrival and their office is always clean. So yes, I would recommend them to my family members and still would travel 3+ hours to be seen by her. Thank you for making my smile great again, Dr. Evangeline!

Chris A. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

I’ve been a patient of Dr Amores since I moved to the Bay Area in 2007.  She has been phenomenal and top notch.  I am active duty Army and she has been most flexible in accomodating my travel schedules and last minute cancellations.  She has provided free dental care to my Reserve Soldiers who lacked insurance. I highly recommend Dr Amores for all dental needs. I would also like to acknowledge her staff.  They are professional, attentive and beyond helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better provider.

John L. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

I found Dr. Amores through the recommendation of a coworker when I was looking for a new dentist. I moved here from New York 3 years ago and I liked the fact that she graduated from Columbia University which is the school I graduated from as well. I was very happy I made the right choice since my health is very important to me. She is very competent, knowledgeable, and explained to me everything I needed to know. She was a nurse before she became a dentist and it shows in her very professional manner. Her staff is very caring and friendly. I look forward to my cleaning knowing that the job will be done well and thoroughly.

Teddy S. from San Francisco, CA (Source: Yelp)

Dr. Amores and her staff are da best!!!!! I have been going to them for about 6 years now and I completely trust her. She’s very competent, thorough, and knowledgeable;she’s very gentle and I like that she alternates my cleaning between her and the hygienist so she can keep an eye on my mouth-haha-that sounded funny! Anyway, she doesn’t recommend unnecessary treatments and I feel that she always has my best interest in mind.

Regina C. from Richmond, CA (Source: Yelp)

I must say after having gone to numerous dentist throughout my life this is the first pain-free experience I have ever had, & I am having a root canal, I was pleasantly impressed with the personnel in the office, very polite and warm. I not only felt cared after, the prices were about as reasonable as the come. I look forward to any future appointments I have coming up, now who can say that with sincerity.

Chiaki O. (Source: Zocdoc)

I love going to Dr. Amores for my teeth. I’ve had about 5 visits so far. I found her via zoc doc and started visiting her around December 2016 for a long overdue check-up. Of course I had many cavities, some being bigger than expected. I even had chipped front teeth. This is honestly the best dentist I’ve ever had in my life. I feel so comfortable and relaxed getting my procedures. The office is 100% transparent. Especially because their amazing assistance Wendy takes extra time to explain the procedure and the exact cost. Now I have beautiful teeth and no cavity. I’m so happy, and I will continue to go to Dr.Amores! Strongly recommended.
