Our family has been blessed to have a caring dentist like Dr. Neela Ghatnekar. We have been going to Dr. Neela for dental care for over past 5 years. I was so relieved when we finally started taking him to dr. Ghatnekar. Within a couple of visits, my little one started getting comfortable with her and started trusting her. Since then all his dental problems have been under control. Even today, Dr takes time to make sure kids get comfortable and relaxed before starting their exam. Now kids trust her and they cooperate which makes dental exams go smoothly. Dr. makes a followup call the same or next day to make sure everything is good. Who does care so much for patients? Dr. Ghatnekar is very knowledgeable and gentle. Her staff is excellent and they always welcome you with smiles. To all who are looking for a trustworthy and caring dentist, I would recommend Dr. Neela Ghatnekar in a heartbeat.
We switched to her when my younger one was 2 yrs old and we had a traumatic experience with other so called pediatric dentistry practice. My little one was traumatized with that visit so much that he started struggling even with brushing. It was no fun for anyone..

It had been a while, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had a coworker highly recommend Dr. Ghatenekar. Making the appt was simple. Carmen worked with my busy schedule & I went in a few days later. Carmen was at the front desk when I arrived & welcomed me in with a beautiful smile. I warned Roger, the dental assistant, that I gagged on X-rays….he made it very fast, Thank goodness!! I apparently had 3 cavities…
BEST PART EVER…didn’t feel the shots!!! No Joke…i was DREADING that part for nothing!!!She was soooo gentle & nice & actually took the time to explain things!!!

We have been seeing Dr Neela for many years now. She is such a kind Dr. An amazing dentist who is always gentle and thorough. She explains everything in detail and takes the time to answer any questions and listen to any concerns. On top of regular dental work she also did my Invisalign.
Her assistants are gentle and professional but also friendly and funny. The front office staff is on top of things and always sends a reminder before your appt so you don’t forget.

Amazing experience! I am so privileged to have found this dental office. It’s located in Anaheim Hills, in a very clean and beautiful building right off the freeway. I usually don’t post about how amazing dentists are but Dr. Neela Ghatnekar is the best dentist in the world. I have absolutely terrified of the dentist my entire life until Dr. Neela came into my life. My whole family are patients at this office including my special needs son. It’s been more than a few years since I’d been to the dentist, and I did have 4 cavities so I knew I was going to get what I deserved. However Dr. Neela has restored my faith in dentistry not being a painful experience. She was kind, up front with everything I did and did not need, and most importantly she was gentle. This dentist office is great! From the front desk to the hygienists, everyone is very friendly and professional. I have horrible teeth. She has never put me down or said things to make me feel bad about it. Shes working with me to be healthier teeth wise. So far I’ve had 4 teeth removed. She was aware i was super scared, so we talked about everything and i asked a out Nitrous. She is always making sure I’m good as shes going everything, basically pulling and putting the stitches in. Her assistant? Roger always makes me relaxed and checks on me. This is a great office to go to. The front desk people are nice always and help me get times with her when i can get there. 30 mins from work and 45 mins from home. She calls to see how things are going and reminds me of what to do next. She has given me her cell number to ask questions if needed.

Hands down the best dental office I have been to, out of the 5 or 6 I’ve been to in my life. Dr. is a great dentist, she really helps you make the correct decision for your dental health while working within your financial abilities. The shot to numb me wasn’t even painful because she is so gentle and just knows what she is doing. Dr. Ghatnekar is an exceptional dentist and a great care provider. She is not only extremely competent, but has an extraordinary level of empathy for patient outcome and comfort. She has redone a number of my fillings, fixed several troublesome spacing/shape issues and installed two inlays. The inlays were done as opposed to root canals with posts and crowns to preserve as much of my original teeth as possible. Through all procedures I experience minimal discomfort and, for the first time ever, no “post-Novocaine” boomerang effect. She is careful to minimize trauma to your mouth, gums and other tissues while working on your teeth. Very happy with her services.

I don’t usually write reviews but I think more people in the Anaheim California area should know about Dental health of Anaheim Hills (Monte Vista Dentistry). Before I moved to California in 2007, I haven’t been to the dentist in nearly 10 years. Yes I am one of those people who are scared of the dentist. It first started in 2010 when I had an infected molar that was given me so much pain it was keep me up at nights. One morning I got up and the pain was so bad that I started looking for dentist. A neighbor of mine recommended Dr. Neela Ghatnekar of Dental health of Anaheim Hills I called Dr. Neela and explained to her the excruciating pain I was in. She told me to come down right away and she would take a look. As soon as I arrived I gave my name to the receptionist and Dr. Neela left word with her that as soon as I came in to bring me into one of the examination rooms. While I was waiting for the doctor to come in I looked around the examination room and everything looked brand-new. The machines, the paint on the walls, the countertops and cabinets were all spotless. Saying that this examination room was clean is an understatement…… it was spotless When she came into the examination room she introduced herself and started the examination right away and concluded that I had a infected molar and it needed to be removed . I had myself convinced that it was going to be an extremely painful extraction. To my amazement it was painless. I figured after the Novocain wore off that the pain would come back and again I was surprised that all I had was a little soreness. No pain just a little soreness. I had no dental insurance and again I was surprised on how reasonable the bill was for the amount of work that she had to do. I just had another painless extraction and a bone graph too and Dr. Neela had recommended me having a partial made since it was a front tooth. I was very impressed by the quality and precision fit of the partial and even more impressed by the price. If you’re like me and are scared of the dentist Dr. Neela of Dental health of Anaheim Hills is the person to see.

So far so good! I’ve neglected my dental health for years and I have a dentist phobia so needless to say I was VERY worried about this visit. I finally have dental insurance and Dr Neela is the only dentist for miles that accepts my insurance. Despite the extent of work needed, poor insurance and limited funds, Dr Neela went above and beyond to make this work! She’s extremely gentle and tells it like it is. She discussed all my options and negotiated with me on price and payment schedule. Her work so far (I still have more to do) has been excellent! I’m not afraid to continue and I’m motivated to take better care of my teeth. I’ll post again a few months after all the work is done so stay tuned.

To start, the desk staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The office and exam rooms were super clean and organized. I was in for an exam and cleaning this morning and it all went very smoothly. The doctor was great. Very quick and thorough with her work yet still gentle. My previous dentist was very rough and I often left with a bad taste in my mouth (figuratively). After the exam and cleaning, the woman at the front desk walked me through the work I needed and educated me on the procedures and why they needed to be performed using pictures and x-rays of my own teeth. I will definitely be returning for my follow up visits and I won’t be neglecting my 6 month cleanings anymore.
