I love my dentist. He gave me back my smile. And with that smile, comes confidence. As a marketing consultant, I often train people in their office, speak at conferences, and I’m in a weekly video podcast. My smile is really important.
Of course, the amount of money I am spending is a lot but I have serious structural issues. Not only that, but also because of my fears, I avoided the dentist.
Dr. Saghatchi presented me with the optimal solution and, when given my financial limitations, found the best solution for me. His office helped me secure financing so we could get started.
I never felt pressured or guilt. I was always treated with respect. As a woman, that is huge.
I couldn’t have asked more from a dental office.
He is patient and understanding of my pain tolerance and fear.
Just yesterday, I started crying (not from pain but from my fear). He asked me what was wrong.
I told him it was humiliating to cry in front of men. He said, “You’re okay. It’s not humiliating; it’s part of the process.”

I danced out of the office they were so wonderful! I was living in Costa Mesa, three minutes from their office but am now two hours away and I’m NOT looking for a dentist closer to where I now live. This is a candid and honest review of this Dental organization. This is not fake. They are always very kind and concerned with any discomfort or pain experienced. They always strive to make sure you feel comfortable and understand what is coming next during treatments. I have had a porcelain crown, Invisalign and multiple cleanings achieved here. I have visited many dental offices throughout my lifetime, and this one has the best service. The staff are friendly and the wait times are within 5 minutes every time I arrive, even when I am late. The porcelain crown was done with precision and aesthetic quality that any one should demand. I have had 30K worth of work done elsewhere unfortunately, and this one crown was the best work, and done right the first time. I will keep this dental office as my hometown place of choice for the next 50 years, until teeth are no longer needed!?!

After years of less than positive experiences with various dentists, my mouth was in pretty rough shape. When I finally made my first appointment with Newport Dental Group, not only was I embarrassed about the state of my teeth, but my anxiety level surrounding any and all dentist visits can bring me to tears while sitting in the dentist chair (how embarrassing!). However, every dentist and hygienist here has been extraordinarily skilled, understanding and friendly. Though I had extensive work to do, I was impressed at the rates and how accommodating they are to make sure it works for you. There was not an ounce of judgement at the state of my teeth on my first visit. I cannot say enough positive things about my experiences here; not only have they done wonders for my mouth, but for dental anxiety too! I went to see Dr. Saghatchi at Newport Dental Group to perform a one-tooth dental implant over a year ago. The implant has since then been placed, and I couldn’t me more thrilled with the results. I’m so happy I came across Newport dental group. Dr. Saghatchi and his staff and super friendly and are so helpful. I came here as an emergency because I was having so much pain with my wisdom tooth. I love love love this place!!! In the past I would go to the dentist and dread it completely I had such bad experiences as a kid that I didn’t go back for 10 years. I found Newport dental group and have been coming here for almost two years now and I can say they are more than amazing!! Always accommodating my schedule and always very professional. I just recently got my wisdom teeth pulled here by doctor Lee and I have to say that it was a very smooth process I had minimal pain only that same day and minimal swelling. I love Josie at the front desk who called the next day just to make sure I was ok and didn’t need to come back for anything. Tammy who personally walked my down stairs to make sure I got in my boyfriends car safe after my surgery and Dr Saghatchi who is always so amazing and coming up with the best treatment plan for you. I had not been to the dentist in several years and was experiencing a bad tooth ace so I started researching dentist from a list provided by my insurance. I live in Costa Mesa and went to Newport Dental Group primarily because they are so close to my home and conveniently located at the end of the 55 Freeway and Harbor Blvd. I did not really know what to expect and had a surprisingly pleasant experience at the Newport Dental Group. The office itself is very modern and stylist and there is nice music playing to make you feel comfortable. They also have a TV in front of each chair. You can watch cable while you are waiting and the TV is used to view photos of your mouth, present instructional information and shows computer schedules for your appointments. They also have some Saturday appointments. The administrative staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about all the insurance requirements, etc. After my initial exam by the doctor, they sat down with me and reviewed all the fees and alternatives so I had a clear understanding of what was needed and how much it would cost prior to starting any work. On my first visit Dr. Saghatchi had to perform a root canal on my aching tooth. I had never had a root canal and was a little worried but Dr. Saghatchi was very good at checking in with me frequently during the procedure and made me feel comfortable by administering additional Novocain if I was feeling any sensitivity. Overall it was a good experience. It should be noted that Dr. Saghatchi is very versatile and can perform many different types of treatments. A typical dentist may send you to another specialist to get a root canal, which can be a hassle because that requires a separate appointment at a difference location. Dr. Saghatchi was able to perform all the treatments I required at that location. I have been back several times since my first visit to get some additional cavities filled and I am very impressed with Dr. Saghatchi and his staff. Dr. Saghatchi is very friendly, calm and professional and has a lot of technical knowledge. I feel lucky I found such a good dentist and have recommended him to family, friends and co-workers.

I came here right before my dental insurance was about to expire, explained my situation to Dr. Saghatchi, and he and his team worked quickly to finish all the work I needed done. I got cavities filled in two teeth, a wisdom tooth pulled and bone graft completed to fill in the hole, and a crown replaced with a pretty porcelain one (my previous one was chipped). I was in there for quite some time, which resulted in missed lunches for the doc and his staff – thanks for taking care of me so well! Insurance didn’t cover the full cost of the procedures so Bella worked hard to find me financing. She was very personable and had a great sense of humor! The dental assistant, Jeremiah, was awesome too! He was very gentle and kind. It was clear that he cared deeply about each patient’s comfort. His demeanor made me relaxed, which was important because …typical dentist anxiety and all. Khuloud was the dental hygienist who did my teeth cleaning. She was aaah-mazing! She gave valuable advice on how to improve my current oral care routine, and I am so so grateful for all her suggestions.
One of my favorite things about this dental office is that they give patients the option to get text/email appointment reminders and I simply had to reply “C” to confirm my upcoming appointment. This is so convenient for a busy schedule in OC!!
I’ll definitely be coming back here for future dental needs!
