I have been so pleased with the care and professionalism of this dental office. They go above and beyond in friendliness, bedside manner, cleanliness of the office and amenities. I am most impressed with their adaptation to digital office management, patient confidentiality and records handling. I continue referring others who have all been equally happy.

The best dentist in the Tampa Bay Area hands down. I have referred over 10 people to their office & my friends/coworkers cannot thank me enough. Not only is the office beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing they have THE BEST staff. They are funny, social, and so talented at what they do. If you have any fear of the dentist this is the place for you. The atmosphere is spa like so you do not feel like you are in a dentist office at all and the amazing dentist and techs here talk to you throughout the whole precedure as if your catching up with an old friend. I have had a crown replaced 3x throughout the tampa bay area and it has NEVER fit correctly! After it fell off the 3rd time i just left the tooth exposed. I informed exceptional dental that i did not want it replaced because i have had too many bad experiences – and they promised me differant – I am so happy they did! I now have a crown that looks 100% like a tooth, feels like a tooth, and fits so perfect i cannot tell which tooth its on! Their equipment is top of the line, they have 3d exrays and big tv screens which they display your teeth on – they even show you the cavity in color on your teeth! I can go on & on about how amazing Exceptional Dental is… Just book your appointment & I promise you will LOVE IT !

Really trying to fathom how anyone goes here and has such a horrible experience.. to the point where they have to write a review. Well, my experience has been so positive, that it made me write my first review. I never have an issue using my insurance, setting an appointment, or getting work done. I have had least 5 appointments here – routine cleanings and having some cavities handled by the wonderful Dr. Delassen. I have had my fair share of dentist experiences, and Exceptional Dental lives up to its name, being the most exceptional! I am not the most terrified of the dentist, but like I’ve stated, I’ve had my fair share of rudeness, incompetence, and remember leaving places either in pain or completely dissatisfied. Their office is very up-to-date with equipment, so when you enter, you don’t feel as though you’re going back in time to the 70s. I find the staff and hygienists to be very friendly, professional, and they do their job well. On specific occasions when I had to have a few fillings, Dr. Delassen was extremely patient, kind and professional. If you are a little nervous about the dentist at all, he has a great temperament that will aid in making you feel more comfortable while there. He was very patient scheduling the fillings on days that worked best with my work schedules. I am very glad to have found a dentist office where I can relax and know that all dental work to come my way in the future will be handled by the very best.

This is the only dentist that I’ve been to that hasn’t led to me being in pain for two weeks after a cleaning. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Dellassen has done an amazing job on my awful teeth . I went in knowing that my teeth were in terrible shape and they set me up with a treatment plan that I found affordable and reasonable. I don’t understand why some people have posted such negative reviews on here, it really is an exceptional office with an exceptional staff.

Just moved to the area, so had to get my doctors lined up. Found this place and… TLDR: They live up to their name. I am not great in the dental chair and I needed a laundry list of issues resolved. They scheduled it so everything could be done at the same time, and explained their sedation-dentistry technique to me. For a first timer, it sounded excellent. I really enjoyed my experience on that day. We’ve since sent a number of people and no one has anything bad to say. I quite like their discount program. It has saved us a ton already. It’s better than the dental insurance my work offers.

I totally agree with a previous reviewer: “Exceptional is the key word here.” This is my second visit and I looked forward to the personable, competent staff. Best of all, I am so thankful for Dr. Delassen’s very effective treatment of my jaw/muscle pain. Further, it is rare in my experience to find a dentist who has a positive, supportive “bedside” manner in addition to his competence. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Delassen and Dr Nguyen are both absolutely incredible and amazing. I have been a patient with them for the past 6 to 7 years and I cannot speak anything but good of them. They are extremely attentive and caring. They don’t treat you like just another patient. They make the setting very calming and relaxing. Stella, a dental assistant, is absolutely incredible also. She is highly compassionate and caring towards her patients. I would highly recommend them

This is without a doubt the best Dentist in Saint Petersburg! The entire staff goes out of their way to be “exceptional” in every aspect of your care and the best part is nothing is too complicated for this team! They go out of their way to work with you to try to fix thing right without price gouging on the way. So if you’re looking for your new family Dentist look no further!! These guys have hours that work for everyone!!

This is a dental office that knows who their patients are as soon as they walk in. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. The way they have handled my orthodontic work has been impeccable. Their ability to put you at ease and help you understand what it is they are doing in layman’s terms is very helpful. The staff always seems pleasant and eager to please. I have never worried about my insurance as they have handled everything for me. They were very fair and accomodating with their payment plan for my braces.

Exceptional Dental goes above & beyond to make me feel comfortable! I love how the hygienists listen to me and make it a priority to reduce my fears about tooth sensitivity. Also, the office and patient rooms are beautiful. Everything from the decor (candles!), to the music, to the extra considerations like water, caffeine, and vino being available make this team stand out. Thank you!
