My wife and I are patients of Dr Aguils’ for almost 2 years. I have to say, after trying out several dentists in LA (and even the fancy ones in Beverly Hills and other fancy areas) that Dr. Aguil is so far the best out there. The service, the warmth, the accuracy, latest equipment and techniques, you can watch Netflix while you have your treatment, a family feeling when you walk in and much more. Him and his staff are very careful during all treatments, they explain every step so you are not in the dark when a pinch comes. A big thank you to Nancy you are wonderful. We cant imagine this place without you. Thank you Dr. Aguil for 2 years of taking great care of us and for many years to come… Best wishes to you and your staff Gabriele and Rosbeh

A filling fell out but instead of getting it taken care of right away like I should have, I procrastinated. A month later and I needed a root canal. Two of my co-workers go to Dr. Aguil and kept talking about how he was seriously the best dentist they’d ever gone to. I haven’t lived in LA very long and I didn’t have a dentist yet, so I booked an appointment with him. My friends were so right, the experience was actually one of the most relaxing and comfortable dental visits I’ve ever had. Dr. Aguil kept making sure that I was comfortable and feeling no pain, and I was so relaxed during the process that time seemed to fly by. He also has Netflix set up to a screen so that you can choose to watch a tv show or movie while he works on your teeth. I have never seen that in a dentist office before!! It was really nice to be able to focus on what I was watching instead of sitting there thinking about the what was going on in my mouth. I am going back again in a couple of weeks for another procedure. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I don’t mind it at all. Plus he told me that he was getting in these candies called Ice Chips that are GOOD for your teeth. Dentist-approved candy?!? Don’t mind if I do!

Today I realized I’ve been coming here for 5+ years! Everything i said before holds true and I wanted to reiterate how much I recommend Dr Aguil. Some people travel to exotic locations for medical tourism, but with Exquisite Dentistry you can enjoy a fabulous “staycation” here in LA! I look forward to each visit, savoring my hour or two of escape from real life, pampered by Dr A and his friendly staff, comfortable chairs, Netflix, and noise cancelling headphones. I always walk away feeling healthier, refreshed, and relaxed. Having received both regular cleanings and preventative care, as well as acute treatments for emergencies and cavities (no one is perfect), I can give a fair wholistic review of many years of service. 5 Stars all the way

My daughter and I had our appointments with Exquisite Dentistry a few weeks ago and it was great… even fun. The exam was thorough, the information presented very detailed and the entire staff seemed very caring. Other reviews that talk about the VIP treatment aren’t exaggerating. They have a Netflix subscription and TVs over each seat – the actually tracked down the episode of Dexter I was watching and even fast forwarded to the exact point for me. They also give you noise canceling head phones when you are watching. Now – I know that shouldn’t be what you base your entire dental visit on, but everything else was so good – this was some great icing on a great cake.

Modern dentistry at its finest! I was recommended to Exquisite Dentistry by a good friend, I am enthusiastically satisfied with my experience. The office space is completely modern, with advanced technologies to provide insights and treatment options to better care for your oral hygiene. This is certainly a space that you want to come to – by strategic elegant design. Nancy the office manager will be your first interface with the brand. She is very personable and quick to get you scheduled for an appointment that meets your schedule guidelines. She is also knowledgeable about their assortment products for purchase to ensure your oral health is properly maintained between cleanings. Dr. Alexie is the most friendliest, fun, energetic, and passionate dentist I have ever met. He was able to research my company insurance Ortho benefit and get me started on a quick 14-week Invisalign treatment. I am most grateful for the professional guidance, trust, care, and elegance in how this dentist treats their patients. During my routine cleaning my lovely hygienist explained what to expect from my cleaning and offered me a headset option to Netflix while she cleans my teeth. I loved the airbrush polish at the completion of my cleaning.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have SEVERE dental anxiety, to the point of avoiding the dentist for over 10 years. Yeah, I know. I had a very bad experience with my last dentist that kept me from ever going back. I kept putting it off until my teeth became increasingly more and more sensitive and then I decided to make a 2018 resolution to get myself to the dentist. This is where Dr. Aguil and his amazing team come in! From the very first call I made to their office, I was put at ease. The office had a very zen vibe and was relaxing. From start to finish, they took the VERY best care of me. I made them all aware of my anxiety and they took every measure to make sure I felt comfortable. My first cleaning after a decade was completely pain free, the hygienist was gentle and communicated every step of the process. She recommended some fantastic products that I ended up purchasing (including a fancy tooth brush and all natural essential oils mouth wash), which I will continue to use twice a day, every day, FOREVER. She also reintroduced me to proper flossing, which I’ve also committed to as a part of my 2018 dental rebirth. After my cleaning (piece of cake), I moved on to the x-rays/photos portion of my visit. Another incredibly friendly and warm staff member guided me through the process. After my x-rays were complete, I was introduced to Dr. Aguil. From first introduction, I knew I was in good hands. He reviewed the condition of my teeth and I was pretty horrified to hear that I had a couple cavities and some tooth decay due to old metal fillings. My cavities would need be filled and my fillings would need to be replaced, a roughly 4-hour procedure. PEAK ANXIETY! I scheduled my next appointment and they were able to accommodate me the following day because I wanted to get it over with ASAP. I left the office feeling reassured that I had found the right dentist who understood my needs and would take care of me. The staff was prepared for me the next day, they were all very aware I was fearful and nervous, and took every possible measure to comfort me. From the comfy blanket, to the essential oils, to Netflix on the TV, I was definitely relaxed… the sedatives they offered helped too 🙂 I could not believe that I was awake and aware throughout the entire procedure and felt absolutely zero pain. Not a thing! Dr. Aguil and his assistant continuously checked on me to make sure I was ok… I was totally ok. For me, this was a big deal accomplishment. I finally went to the dentist and had a FANTASTIC experience. I’m now cavity-free and feel as though I have the chance to start-over in terms of my dental habits. I’m now smiling with my teeth more. I can’t thank Dr. Aguil and his team enough… they all were so incredibly professional and caring. I left the office that day wanting to go have a drink with the whole team! Maybe that was the sedatives talking… 2018 resolution: nailed it!

Always have a great experience every time I visit. It is a very nicely appointed, modern office on Wilshire, the staff is attentive and friendly, and Dr. Aguil is super nice and compassionate.  A couple of things to note: they are only open four days per week which means those four days are super busy. Parking is a bit of a pain on Wilshire — if you can’t find free 2 hour street parking a street or two over, it’s $11 per hour in the lot next door. However, I would wholeheartedly recommend this office.

I must say, this is probably the best dentist experience I have ever had in my life. Not to mention the very VIP treatment (Free coffee & tea, blanket, Netflix during the treatment, warm herb scented towel after the treatment etc…) The staff are all kind and extremely welcoming. Dr. Aguil is the sweetest person I have ever met! What I truly appreciated was the level of communication. I was explained what I needed and exactly why I needed it in the way I could understand. They use camera and photos of your teeth to show& explain to you throughly. Some dentists I used to go to lacked in communication and I was not even sure what was wrong with my teeth or why I needed what I was getting because they did not speak to me in the “language” I could understand. But here, they make sure first you understand everything and why it is necessary. You get the best treatment and the communication, plus the “coming to America” type of VIP treatment! Highly recommended!

When I was a kid I had a mouthful of braces and extenders, retainers and even something called a distal jet (which sounds a lot cooler than it felt) and the process left just about all of my teeth decalcified and eroded. Also, I may have avoided flossing but I plead the fifth. Then I moved to LA and after years of denial finally accepted that my teeth were in distress. I found the amazing Dr. Aguil and his equally attentive, supportive staff via Yelp and it was the best choice I could have made: I had stained teeth, cavities like canyons, and needed a very delicate crown on an essential tooth. With insurance, all were taking care of at reasonable prices — in shockingly few and quick appointments. Within a month I found myself with a bright white smile, almost zero pain (seriously), and all cavities repaired to perfection. This staff is both professional experts and charming company. I’ll never dread a dentist appointment again. Recently went for a regular cleaning and to my shock what I thought were small-but-permanent new stains on my front teeth were cleared instantly. Scheduling new appointments a few months from now was a no-brainer. This group is the best in LA. I almost don’t want to get the word out bc they’re so good I want to keep them under the radar — but they’re already soaring and others deserve the treatment I continue to receive. Did I mention they let you watch Netflix on a personal screen with comfortable headphones during any procedure? Personally I now prefer the banter with the staff, but on my first few nervous visits it was a luxury. In particular Dr. Aguil replaced an essential tooth with a crown that is a masterpiece; it’s feels and looks better than I could have ever expected. You would never know it’s not my original tooth. I almost forgot it happened. I’m not a regular Yelp reviewer but this is an exception well deserved. Exquisite Dentistry is exactly that. Exquisite in every way.

I’ve never had such an amazing experience with a dentist as I had on my first visit with Dr. Aguil last week. Not only did my teeth feel amazing after having the pleasure of experiencing a cleaning with Dr. Aguil, but my overall experience was unmatchable. I was greeted upon entering the office by Isabelle and Allison who were incredibly welcoming. After my paperwork was completed, Jessica brought me to the back where I was offered a beverage and she took photos and x-rays of my teeth. She was kind, helpful, and informative. When the photos and x-rays were done, she set me up with a Netflix movie to watch! I was so impressed. When the doctor came in, he was was thorough in explaining my treatment and their office’s cleaning procedure. When the cleaning began, I was able to watch the Netflix movie above me as they did my cleaning! Sincerely, I did not feel any discomfort the entire cleaning, which is something I’ve never experienced before. Although I had headphones on and was watching the movie, Jessica and Dr. Aguil were sure to keep checking with me that I was not in any pain or discomfort. After the cleaning, they used a type of high-pressured salt technology that made my teeth feel more smooth than they’ve literally ever felt for as long as I can remember! I bought the high grade mouth wash that Dr. Aguil recommended and walked out smiling prouder than I had in a long time.
