The office is clean and inviting. The office staff are friendly and wanted to know personal things about you, as a way to get to know you. Dr. Simmons is kind and tells you the truth about what’s going on with your teeth. I also liked that nobody tried to get me to do anything extra to my teeth, just what was necessary. I highly recommend this dentist office

I just moved to SoCal from New York City and badly needed a root canal and a crown.  I was so nervous to find a new dentist.  So grateful that I received a recommendation to see Dr. Simmons.  She is on-time, professional, thorough in her explanation and I never felt rushed.  The equipment is state-of-the art and super clean.  The office is conveniently located near the 5 and Sante Fe Road and is decorated in a soothing and tasteful manner.  The root canal went just as planned and was not painful. The staff: fabulous!!  They are caring, professional, and so lovely.  They had balloons for me on my bday and all sang hb before my root canal-  So unexpected!  This has by far been the best all around experience with a dentist!

I have been going to Dr. Simmons for over 16 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. She has cutting edge technology and runs an ethical, patient-centric practice. I was always so scared of the dentist. Dr. Simmons is so friendly and has the best smile…no more fear!  The office in Encinitas is warm and comfortable. Holly and Shawna, my regular hygienists, treat my teeth like old friends! Thanks to the entire team for always providing a great experience.

Truly my favorite dentist ever! The office is clean and comfortable and the entire staff is so kind! Dr. Simmons has gone above and beyond multiple times (coming in on her day off to help and staying during lunch another time). She is very personable and puts you at ease. Additionally, she works quickly (which we all want at the dentist) and is so kind! I would drive any distance to keep coming here!

I’m so glad I found Dr. Simmons!  She and her staff are amazing!  I received great care, and they answered a million questions that I had.    They even went out of their way to help me fix a chipped tooth urgently, at my first visit!  Cured of my dentist phobia!  🙂

I recently made my first visit to Dr Simmons’ office for a teeth cleaning. Unfortunately I found at that visit that I would need three fillings replaced and a new crown. I was nervous the whole week before because prior crowns were a painful and multi-week process. To my delight I was in and out in two hours! The crown was made right in the office and my old amalgam fillings were replaced with state of the art resin/epoxy. The whole procedure was painless and done in a pleasant and professional setting. I trust Dr Simmons so much after this first session that I am proceeding with Invisalign to straighten a crowding issue with my teeth. I couldn’t recommend her more highly for a truly 21st dentistry experience!

Maricela Simmons D.D.S. is simply an outstanding dental service. Dr. Simmons always provides excellent quality dental care. I switched over to Dr. Simmons after being with a ‘big-box’ dental service, never seeing the same hygienist or doctor twice. Dr. Simmons really gets to know her patients, and really cares about them. I have been a patient of Dr. Simmons for several years now, and have referred two people to her. Her staff is also outstanding – from the front office personnel to the hygienists to the technicians. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend. As long as Simmons D.D.S. is in business, I will gladly be their patient

My family (myself, husband, and 4 boys) has been going to Dr. Simmons for the past few years and we are more than pleased:)  I had some really bad bonding on my front teeth, making them look yellow.. I would only smile with my mouth closed.  After seeing Dr. Simmons and her working her magic, my teeth are white again and I smile with my teeth:)  She is a perfectionist and it shows in her quality of work. I know that she is honest with us and never trying to do unnecessary work unlike other dentists we have had in the past. Her staff is very polite and friendly and always willing to work with our crazy schedule.  I have and always will highly recommend Dr. Simmons!

Dr. Simmons is dedicated to her patients.  She is thorough and friendly which is a rare combination.  She views each patient as an individual and she has never recommended or pushed for treatments that were not necessary.  She loves of what she does and her attitude is so refreshing that you may start to think differently about your teeth and going to the dentist

I just had to Yelp Dr. Simmons Dental Practice. My family had been going to Gentle Dental which was not really doing it for us. My neighbor Mark suggested Dr. Simmons so we gave her a try. Night and Day!! It’s great because the business is done the old fashioned way but has all the modern tools, equipment, Dr. Simmons/Staff Knowledge, followed up by excellent customer service including billing. All Bills are accurate and done properly as it relates to ones dental insurance. It goes without saying that none of us really enjoy our trips to the dentist. I can honestly say that I enjoy going to see Dr, Simmons and her staff. it’s a very pleasant experience. I was actually taking a nap through a recent root canal!! Scouts Honor! Please try Dr. Simmons for good dental treatment!
