Dr. C. Is an excellent dentist. Always kind and caring, the dental hygienist team is thorough and pleasant. Dr. C. Is comprehensive and precise in her dental care.  I have had both regular cleanings and complex work done and trust her completely.  I have been with the team for years and they have my trust and business!

My son had his first visit to the dentist here. We are both so happy with the service received here! I’m terrible with names so I’m not sure who exactly it was with the long curly reddish/blonde hair, but she is fantastic! She talked to my son every step of the way and helped him to feel at ease. It was such a great experience for us both. The dentist and front desk staff are wonderful! I cannot imagine going anywhere else! Highly recommend! Thank you all for making my son’s first visit so comfortable.

I am a senior citizen with truly lousy experiences with all types of dentistry in the past six years. Dr. Chalasani’s staff is wonderful! Dr. Chalasani herself in a kind, gentle dentist with a great dental assistant and hygienist. I went in with a bad attitude and everyone made sure that I left with a positive attitude. I will recommend this office with much enthusiasm!

This is the best Dentist I have visited.  Dr. Chalasani was very nice and spent time to review my case.  I had many questions regarding the procedure and she patiently answered them in terms in which I could understand.  Since my visit, the rest of my family now vists this office. I would strongly recommend this office for your dental needs.

Nobody likes going to the dentist but Dr. Chalasani has great bedside manner, her dental work is painless every time, and she is highly skilled (she saved me from having to get an implant). Everyone at this office is friendly, professional, and they do their best to make the dental experience as good as it can be.

I love this place, and am so glad we found Dr. Chalasani. I had gone 6 or so years without seeing a dentist due to having some extremely bad experiences in the past. This year after finally getting insurance I decided to take the plunge and based on the good reviews I had seen elsewhere set my fiance up with an appointment, and then myself later on. Everyone here is very friendly and kind, and worked with me to maximize my insurance benefits. Dental procedures were not only scheduled very quickly, but went extremely smoothly (in the past with other dentists I have had issues with not being numbed properly before fillings/etc) Dr. Chalasani made sure I was not only numbed properly but also comfortable. She was as gentle as possible during my procedures. I can honestly say my experiences with Family Dentistry of Royal Oak have completely changed my perspective on dental offices. From the front desk staff to the hygienists to Dr. Chalasani everyone I encountered was beyond friendly and delightful to be around. Also, the environment in the office is very soothing as it is very calm. If you haven’t been to a dentist in a while, are looking for a new dentist or have any qualms at all with your current dentist please check Family Dentistry of Royal Oak out, I promise you will not regret it!

I went to see Dr. Chalasani for the first time and was extremely nervous.  When I was a child, I was forced to see a dentist who terrorized me with treats of his needles.  From the first moment I walked through Dr. Chalasani’s office door, the staff and dentist made me feel safe and comfortable.  Dr. Chalasani was so nice and gentle.  She immediately put me at ease, filled two cavities and I felt no pain at all.  They went above and beyond, and I am so grateful. They got me an appointment quickly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what was happening.  I would highly recommend this office!

I’ve had biannual cleanings for a couple years and fillings done on two occasions. I’m always extremely impressed–Dr Chalasani and her staff work very quickly but thoroughly. Both of my fillings were completely painless and didn’t take long at all. I felt fairly comfortable with the precautions they were taking to reduce covid risk.

As a new patient I have found the very best dental office!! I feel welcomed when I enter the office, the staff friendly, helpful and dedicated to patients well-being. Dr Chalasani is wonderful, competent, confident and willing to make the necessary adjustments when working with a patient who is sustiable to vertigo. Just had major dental work today and I am doing well and grateful that I have found this office which is near to my home.

I thought I’d need a root canal and crown. Ended up not need a root canal and doc prepped me for a crown, which was ready in less than a week. Very honest! (Most dentists would do root canal anyway just for the revenue!) Crown is PERFECT!!! Fits nicely and feel natural. My only complaint is no nitrous (I get anxious in “the chair”). Seen very quickly (doesn’t leave you waiting) and is very professional.

Both Sherry and the nurse and fellow office person were awesome and plesantly personable. For my first time of visit and service, this made for a pleasant experience. While I was pleased with my service I did recieve a bit of a rush and not as diligent service from the actual dentist, I was a bit disturbe of the shift I recieved from her when I was not able to accept the service that she recommeded for that time, however I got through it…. T.T

I usually never write reviews but I had a very pleasant experience at this facility recently that I wanted to share with everyone. My 11 year-old needed two of her teeth extracted. I was dreading this experience both for myself (as a parent) and for my daughter who has to go thru this ordeal. Thanks to Dr. Chalasani and her staff, we both came out of the office with all smiles and no tears!!! Thanks to her professional touch and modern medicine, she didn’t feel a thing while both her teeth were being pulled. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Chalasani and her office staff. There are three qualities that I would like to see when I visit my dentist – painless experience, great quality of work and timely service (in that order). By a wide margin, on all three counts, Dr. Chalasani is the best dentist that I have ever worked with. I highly recommend Family Dentistry of Royal Oak. I also found the staff to be extremely professional and friendly. The facility is very clean and very well maintained. Thank you Family Dentistry of Royal Oak!!!

This is a great place with no wait time! I’ve never been in the waiting room longer than 5 min. And have never had any pain from any procedures done here, including a root canal. Making appointments is easy and the hours are convenient! The hygenists, assistants and front office staff are fantastic and friendly. Dr. Chalasani is a wonderful, gentle, and knowledgeable dentist who is very conscious of your pain levels and comfort. I highly recommend this office for you and your family. I’ve had more than 5 appointments here in a month and had extensive work done and every time has been 5 star! Please go here and experience great dentistry!!! My wife and I have been visiting Dr. Chalasani for almost a year now. Dr. Chalasani is very polite, attentive and knowledgeable. So far our experience has remained pretty good here, from getting routine cleaning to filling of cavities. Kathy (a dental hygienist) is also very courteous and professional. I would recommend this place.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Literally everything you would be looking for in a dental office: personable friendly staff who know you by name, wide range of appointments including late on some weekdays and weekends, competent high-quality dental care, and convenient location. I actually look forward to my dental cleanings. Dr. Chalisani, Sherry, Kathy, Jill and the whole staff…you guys are amazing!

Although going to the dentist isn’t my favorite activity, the staff at Family Dentistry of Royal Oak make the whole experience a positive one. The desk staff and hygienists are wonderful. My appointments are always on time and painless. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Okay.. this is my first yelp review.. I use it so much so I think maybe I should contribute as well.. I moved to Royal Oak a year ago and found this dentistry. 🙂 I searched around for a while by taking consultation appointments.. I believe most of doctors are skillful enough, but not all of them value patients’ feelings that much.. I like their office having a relax and friendly environment.. Everyone are extremely nice.  (Even when I kept delaying in pulling my wisdom teeth out… :P)

I am new to the area, so this was my first time at Family Dentistry.  Beth Ann was my hygienist and was amazing.  In the past I experienced major anxiety during cleanings, but this was the first time I was relaxed while my stains were erased.  The Dr. was friendly.  I anticipate becoming a long-time patient here.

I have been going here since last September and have had excellent care. I brought my husband last week as he has not been to the dentist in a couple of years, Dr. Chalasani gently explained that he needed some fillings and a deep cleaning, which we are in the process of doing. My husband is very satisfied. Over one year later, we are still pleased with all services. The staff is wonderful and all are gentle.
