This review is long overdue! Michelle and Julio are the sweetest and most professional front desk I have ever encountered. Michelle went above and beyond during my consultation. Every single time I call last minute to get a wire cut or change my appointment Michelle makes sure I’m seen in minutes and always confirms my next appointment works for me and MY time before leaving. I’m 6 months into my treatment and I’ve NEVER had an issue. I appreciate how the office is staying open during the pandemic and how the front desk is on top of everything to keep us safe. You can just tell Michelle and Julio enjoy what they do and they care about their patients. Because of my good experience with them my co worker also came to this office. I’m so glad I went with Dr Mehdi and his staff for my braces.

A great place to get braces for yourself and your entire family. My whole family has gotten our braces from this orthodontic center and we couldn’t be happier. They work with you on payments and leave you with a sense of reassurance. The staff is very caring and makes sure everybody leaves happy. I was referred to Dr. Mehdi a few years back. I came in for a free consultation where the whole process was explained to me in clear terms. Shortly after I had my braces put on. After having my braces removed about 2 years later, I was extremely pleased with the results. I love this orthodontist office!!! They send me 3 reminders the day before my kids’ appointments; 1 text, 1 home phone call & 1 cell phone call. The office staff is always friendly and willing to work with our schedules. They always have a kid movie playing in the waiting/reception area to keep everyone entertained. Both of my daughters got their braces here and I got a discount on the 2nd kid, not to mention that they matched the price of a different, less expensive quote I got from another orthodontist that was several miles out of my way AND they deduct $50 from your bill if you send in a referral. We pay our bill monthly, there’s no interest in the amount and as long as you pay on time there’s no extra fees. I did make a payment late once but it was only a $10 late fee. Marti at the front desk has made us feel like family/long time friends. Clearly, I can’t say enough wonderful things about this office that is only 2 min. from my house and my kids’ school. I was able to get appointments during lunch time without having them miss out on class time. My kids are good students that are involved in after school extracurricular activities so that was important to them.

This establishment far exceeds any expectation for an Orthodontic center. For starters, the front desk staff always greets you when you walk in. They go as far as to remember my name, which means a lot to me. I’ve been going here for a year now, and whenever I need an emergency visit because I broke a bracket, they try to fit me in their schedule. As far as the Back staff, they are just as great. They are always gentle and have never pinched or poked me when working on my braces.

I was referred here by my dentist. The thought of getting braces at 34 years old scared me but the staff at F.O.C. made it very easy to understand my treatment options. I’m close to finishing my treatment and couldn’t be happier. I opted for the crystal brackets instead of traditional metal ones or Invisalign. From what I remember, they cost the same but I had a lot of spacing and a bite that needed to be corrected so brackets were the way to go. Every month I go in to get my braces adjusted and it’s super easy. I never have to wait. If my appointment is at 10 AM, they’re ready at 10 AM. 15 minutes later I’m out the door. The office is clean, the staff are super friendly, and they’ve always been accommodating with my schedule and needs. Dr . Medi Motakef is a man of few words but you can tell he knows what he’s doing. He told me from day one to get brackets so he can minutely adjust and fine tune my treatment month by month. I’m so glad I listened to him

I brought my son here because he himself asked me to bring him back from the 3chouces we had in the Glendora area. I asked him why he wanted me to bring him back tobstart his visits for beginning of braces , and his words were he felt comfort with staff and he liked atmosphere. What an experience!! A great one though. I read all the reviews on Yelp and I was impressed. I was referred by San Jose Yagon Dental in Baldwin Park Location-you can get lost. But I’m glad I left early. If your coming from Badillo (East) it will be on your Left side before Citrus and if your coming Citrus on to Badillo then it will be on your Right. Parking is in the back Upon entering the office I was greeted. Very friendly staff. Valerie (receptionist) is very helpful. Tina was very knowledgeable on her prices for braces. They work with pricing. Within 15 minutes I was taken to the back for my orthodontics consult. The set up there is very clean. The staff is working…they know the meaning of Teamwork!!! Everyone there helped one another. The Dr was very nice and he knew what he was talking about. He explained everything and was clear. The office is up to date with everything. Pretty cool machine. I was referred to Dr. Mehdi by the receptionist at my dental office on October 2015. Lupe (the manager) made me feel welcome from day one, til this day every time I walk in she always welcomes me with a smile and by my name. She is beyond helpful whenever I have a problem with my braces or need to change my appointment. Valerie is the receptionist she also makes me feel welcome and is very friendly to everyone, she always has a smile and is always willing to work with you when scheduling your next appointment. Dr. Mehdi is a create doctor and I am really happy I was referred to him, he does not sugar coat anything and always looks out for our best interest. He tells you when you are doing a good job but he also tells you and calls you out when you start to slack off and not wear your bands (trust me I know lol) but when he does he does it in a nice, sweet and very professional manner and it’s only because he wants you to finish your treatment within the amount of time he had estimated and in reality he actually does it because he does not want to charge you extra for having to extend your treatment. I myself appreciate that. Now let me tell you a little something about myself, I am extremely picky and I do not feel comfortable with a lot of people but when I do I DO NOT LET GO OF THEM. That being said if you guys ever decide to be treated by Dr. Mehdi and his staff (which I hope you do) and you just happen to be treated by Lan then consider yourselves very lucky because to me she is one of the BEST!!. She knows how to calm me down when I start to get nervous and she always tries to make the adjustments quick and painless and that means the world to me…

I drive by family Orthodontics almost every day, so I thought I would go in and see what they are about. I was referred here by my general dentist who did Invisalign but said I wasn’t a good candidate for them. As an adult I can’t say I was thrilled to need metal braces, but it was now or never. What’s great about this place is that they have a free consultation. Dr. Mokatef examined my teeth and told me very clearly what was wrong with my bite and what I needed done, and also said that Invisalign was not a good option for me. He explained several pricing options of different types of braces, and the pros and cons of each. At the end, they did not add pressure for me to get my procedure done with them, or pressure me for the highest priced procedure. I thought about it and decided to get braces with them! I’m at the start of my journey and we’ll see what happens in a few months, but so far so good.
