Dr. Fatehi and staff are amazing!! Our Orthodontist, Dr. Meeks highly recommended him but we kept putting it off because my daughter is terrified of needles. We went to the consultation and Dr. Fatehi was so good at explaining the procedure and making her feel comfortable. He showed her exactly what he needed to do and assured her she would feel nothing. Best bedside manner ever!!! On the day of the surgery they even let me go in the back to be with her until they started. The surgery was quick, he helped walk her to the car, and she had zero complications. What more could you ask for? The Doc, nurses and front office all get 10 stars!! I highly recommend him!!!!

AhhhMAZING!! Thank you Dr. Fatehi and staff for being beyond fantastic with my scared self! ha! I was putting off the extraction of ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth because my dental anxiety is HUGE. My first consultation with Dr. Fatehi made me feel a little more comfortable. He is super personable and explained everything in detail. I even received all my prescriptions at this time as well. I made him aware that starting IVs on me is no fun task, at times impossible – requiring ultrasound. He said he would do what he could to start the IV but wouldn’t treat me as a pincushion. If an IV couldn’t be started he would “knock me out with gas” which last around 4 minutes or so. So every couple minutes the mask would be placed on me DURING surgery in order to keep me knocked out. Morning of surgery I was FREAKED out. So nervous about the IV and feeling pain during surgery. Dr. Fatehi attempted an IV twice and couldn’t get it. I freaked out sitting in the chair. He reassured me I would NOT feel anything or wake up. Surgery was over in a blink of an eye. One of my molars crumbled upon extraction which required him to “dig it out” and I still never woke! I woke up wanting to go handbag shopping! =) Must be some good meds in the gas! I even said I was going to give the Dr. a Yelp review!! haha If it wasn’t for the one tooth crumbling and requiring a lot of digging my pain level would have been 2/10. AMAZING Dr. Wonderful Staff. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fatehi to anyone. I wish he could be my primary dentist. Sorry for this being so long, I just hope if someone reading this has any dental anxiety like I do, don’t be scared and give Dr. Fatehi a chance, I promise you’ll write a 5 STAR review afterwards, just like me!!

Hi : my name is Matthew and I never really write reviews but I felt compelled to do so in this situation , I went to see dr fatehi yesterday for a tooth extraction for s fractured tooth undernethe a crown, first of all dr fatehi in my opinion is a very compassionate , patient person who really listens and is very caring and is honest and has integrity , I Am a very good judge of character normally and I feel dr fatehi is an excellent oral surgeon who really has a capacity to make a person feel comfortable , I suffer from panic disorder from an incident that had happened to me 4 years ago so needless to say I was very nervous and this was my first extraction ever , I was not even sedated and the procedure took about 12 minutes , I feel people who need surgery should very seriously take the time to get a counseltation with dr fatehi , you will not regret you did so, and keep in mind you are talking to someone who is very skeptical of people , their are not many people left in this world who have integrity and are honest, dr fatehi is not one of them , he is in my opinion an excellent surgeon , a compassionate dr and person, and honest, I hope this helps people who need a surgeon , matthew

I took both of my teen agers to Dr Fatehi for their wisdom teeth to be extracted. Both kids had tough cases ( impacted ) and Dr Fatehi did a fabulous job. No problems, no infections, no sinus problems like you hear about from friends…I can not recommend him enough. Wisdom teeth is serious surgery and you want an oral surgeon for this, or should I say you want Dr Fatehi for your loved ones. Whole staff makes you feel comfortable and both surgical assistants Jamie and Kelly are caring and professional. This is the place you want!

I was referred to Dr. Fatehi by my general dentist for a fibroma removal. I also went to him for a cracked tooth extraction (~1 year later). Very knowledgeable and professional. He told me exactly what he was going to do, length of procedure, etc., and that’s he did. Very little discomfort. Engaging personality, helpful and compassionate. I would recommend him. Recently, my son needed his wisdom teeth extracted so I sent him to Dr. Fatehi. Is there a better way to demonstrate confidence in a clinician’s skill?

I got a recommendation for Dr. Fatehi through my kids dentist, since I needed a wisdom tooth extraction. During my appointment, my wait time was minimal, and my X-rays were done extremely quickly. Within a few minutes, Dr. Fatehi came in, and did a quick examination, and said he was ready to do the extraction. The entire process was really quick, and without any pain whatsoever, aside from the minor pain associated with the local anesthetic for numbing the jaw. He made sure to be as gentle as possible. The actual extraction took only a few minutes at most. I was pretty surprised. I had another wisdom tooth taken out 8 or 9 years ago (by a different dentist), on the same jaw (lower), and it took a really long time, and they had to break that tooth in half to get it out. By comparison, Dr. Fatehi’s process was super smooth. I haven’t had the same pain I did in recovery that I did from my last tooth pull. This has been fairly painless so far! I totally recommend Dr. Fatehi, and I would go again if I needed to (hopefully I won’t need to!)

This is an incredible practice. Dr. Fatehi and his (world’s friendliest and most genuine front office person ever) made a stressful experience really a positive one. I was very worried about my 4 year old having an extraction, and they were so kind about it. They did not force me to do oral sedation, and we had a really successful (and quick!) extraction with nitrous and local. Dr. Fatehi has a great bedside manner, very nice with kids, and even kindly responded to my worried after hours text about the gauze coming out when I thought it was an emergency (it wasn’t). Really an exceptional office! Would absolutely go back and recommend to others!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Fatehi and his staff. This is my 3rd experience with him, this time my 17 yr old daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. She has excessive allergies and asthma and as always, Dr. Fatehi assures me that he will take excellent care of her and he makes me feel so much better. Even more importantly, he made my daughter feel unafraid and confident upon meeting her the first time. Today, his nurse was stellar and very helpful, caring and informative. Added bonus this time? No day off for this man , you can call any day at any time as he give you his cell number to call him if you feel necessary after surgery. He will always be my first choice, as he helped both my kids . Age 22 for wisdom teeth and 13 for ingrowth upper teeth that need it help to come out in order to put braces on. Awesome oral surgeon! I had three impacted wisdom teeth that needed to be removed. Dr. Fatehi was patient during the consultation, attentive to all of my questions, and very kind. The surgery was a breeze. I had some pain and swelling, as expected with the surgery. Dr. Fatehi called me to make sure I was okay the day after the surgery. I thankfully did not have any complications following surgery and am so thankful he stitched my incisions shut (some doctors leave them open with sockets)! Within that week, I had a couple of questions and Dr. Fatehi called me personally to answer them promptly after I left his office/phone a message. The price was reasonable for the procedure as well. Dr. Fatehi has great bedside manner, which made my nerves subside. I would highly recommend him for any oral surgery!

Dr. Fatehi is the BEST! I brought my 11 year old daughter in to have two teeth pulled. My daughter was understandably very anxious and scared. Dr. Fatehi met with my daughter and I and took time to explain the procedure. He spoke to my daughter in a kind and patient manner and he spoke directly to her. When it came time for the procedure Dr. Fatehi was AMAZING. He was so gentle and patient while administering Novocain to numb my daughter’s mouth before the teeth were pulled. He took his time and made sure my daughter’s mouth was numb before the teeth were pulled. When it came time for him to pull the teeth he was very quick and my daughter felt nothing. His assistant during the procedure was also extremely kind and explained each thing to my daughter. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Fatehi for such a good experience. THANK YOU! After practicing dentistry in Laguna Niguel for 25 years I have retired from general practice. After all that time I can say that there are many fine oral surgeons in the area but none will be more competent, ethical and skillful than Dr. Fatehi. I referred to him for 10 years or so and never heard a complaint from any of the patients sent there. No patient ever had a complication either, which was amazing to me given some of the more unusual cases I sent him. No funny “up-charging,” fictional billing or insurance nonsense. Just excellent Oral Surgical care. He treated my children and you could be in no better hands than with him.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Fatehi in 2015 and he did it all within about 30mins from the time I got to the seat to the time we left the office. I requested to have general anesthesia and it was great – I felt zero pain and the recovery went smoothly. I’ve been putting off doing this procedure for years until I got a recommendation from my dentist who said she also sent her kids to Dr Fatehi for oral surgery. I was so nervous but he took the time to talk me through the procedure during our consultation and he really put me at ease about going through with it. I’m so glad I got it done!
