I never thought I would have a favorite dentist but I do! It is amazing here. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. I have gone for a cleaning and to have two crowns replaced so far. The latter isn’t fun for anyone but they made me feel so confident and comfortable and I am so grateful for the results. My insurance was accepted at this office as well. My first visit was fantastic. The office staff really made sure I was comfortable and explained everything I needed to know. Dr. Amir Daoud took the time to go over my treatment plan and made sure I was well informed of what he has to work on in the next few months. He’s got a great personality and is very easy to talk to. THE BEST DENTIST EVER! I used to always hate going to the dentist. That was until I found this group. They are friendly, funny and best of all very compassionate. I told them about my previous experiences with going to the dentist and they did went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I have never looked forward to going to the dentist but now I do. My teeth have never looked better since going to Feather Sound Smiles. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. You feel like a member of the family. Just an example, the other day i had an issue pop up where my gums in the back of my mouth became swollen and sore. I called and told them about it and they got me in right away. Not all dentists would do that. My mouth is now healed. Again, the best dentist ever. I go back in a couple weeks for my cleaning and can’t wait!

I am giving the 5 stars to the DENTIST – hands down the BEST – his receptionist on the other hand is RUDE. I have been in customer service my whole life and I guess I expect everyone to treat me like I have to treat customers. She makes you feel stupid if you ask about how insurance works. Absolutely love this dental team! Was totally afraid of going to the dentist after multiple horrid experiences (drilling through tooth, left a particle under a filling, numbed my mouth, allergic reaction). But alas, teeth need to be cared for. Been coming to this office since 2011, absolutely love the team, especially Sarah! She is always so thorough and helpful. I especially like how they don’t try to “sell” me anything new and provide me with a tooth care/maintenance plan to help my teeth get healthier between visits. Recommend them to all my friends and family!

The staff is super friendly and makes me feel welcome every time I’ve been there. I’ve been going for several years and don’t ever recall not being taken in for my appointment right on time. The technology used in this practice is state-of-the-art, yet Dr. Daoud and the hygienists are able to use it expertly and explain what’s happening in simple, down-to-earth terms. Every employee in this office had a smile on their face, from the receptionists to the doctor himself. Tiffany was my dental hygienist and she did a phenomenal job and catered to exactly what I was looking for in my experience, as well as making it quite enjoyable and light hearted. They saved me $900! Never leaving! I came to Feathersound Smiles to get a second opinion on a strange procedure my old dentist wanted to perform. They had basically wanted to do this very intrusive antibiotic treatment on my gums because I had “deep pockets” and it “must” have been because of all my built-up bacteria. I decided to get a second opinion at FSS and it was the best decision I ever made! The staff here takes their time to get a full view of all aspects of your teeth and dental past. They took different x-rays and photos of my teeth and found out that not only did I not need this invasive procedure, but I had hardly any bacteria in my teeth at all! These guys aren’t out to make a quick buck. They actually care about their patient’s health and well-being. I even stayed after my appointment to do the 20-minute whitening treatment because I didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much Sara, Sandra, and Dr. Daoud!

I am beyond grateful to have Dr. Daoud as my dentist. You can tell he really cares about his patients, and he’s never tried to sell me services I didn’t need. There was even a case when I had a deep cavity that would’ve made other dentists recommend a root canal. Instead, Dr. Daoud recommended filling it first. He even showed me what it looked like halfway through the filling process so I could understand the situation. Thanks to his amazing work, I’m happy to say I haven’t had any problems with it at all and didn’t end up needing a root canal. Not only is Dr. Daoud the best dentist I’ve ever had, but his staff is amazing as well — they are welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. And even with all of this coronavirus craziness going on and businesses closing left and right, Dr. Daoud has made himself super accessible and even given his patients access to his cell number in case we need anything. There’s simply no better dentist!

I recently moved to Saint Petersburg from Orlando and needed a new dentist. A coworker recommended Dr. Daoud. I had a tooth that had cracked and a piece of it had fallen off due to an old filling. Dr. Daoud fixed the tooth with a new crown in what was probably the least painful dental procedure I have ever had done in my life. I thought my previous dentist was up on all the latest technology but the technology that this office uses was light years ahead of anything my previous dentist used. I highly recommend them

This is my first review on yelp after being on here since the beginning. I went to Feathersound Smiles after an unfortunate encounter with a different dentist. I am terrified of going to the dentist. It took me 11 years to have my crown repaired. After having that repair at a different dentist, I went to Feathersound Smiles and I found my forever dentist. They are so caring, gentle, and not looking out to just make your money. I finally had my teeth cleaned and Sarah was amazing, I mean freaking amazing. I was legitimately bawling walking back to get my teeth cleaned because I was so scared and it was over before I knew it- and she was so understanding. I can’t say enough about how much I love this facility. Added bonus – they also do Botox and facial fillers!

I have been going to Amir Daoud since before he opened Feather Sound Smiles. Dr. Daoud is an excellent dentist and his staff is awesome, especially Sarah who is one of the hygienists. I first went to Dr. Daoud when he was part of a practice that was 5 minutes from my house. When he moved to open Feather Sound Smiles I followed him, even though he is now over 30 minutes away and I probably pass 20 other dentist offices to get there. First, I NEVER write reviews but this office is a diamond in the rough. Every single employee at this office is friendly and kind. I went in for a cracked tooth one time and Dr. Daoud was able to make a custom cap in some fancy machine and put in on the SAME day. My dental hygienist is Lauren and that women is fantastic. I’m in my late 50s and battle some gum issues but receive thorough and gentle cleanings at this office. Got to my appointment about 15 minutes early just as Lynda was coming back from lunch…I asked what was in the bag, she said,”Ginger dressing…wanna taste it?? I said sure and it was “great”. The reason I am saying that is because it is so much like a family there. In this case…by age, he could be my son (and by the way,,,our son goes to Dr. Daoud, also). Sara, my hygienist, was ready for my cleaning…BAM! My mouth sparkles. After the Dr. came in and checked everything out…I was outta there with my appointment for my next cleaning. I made a first time appointment for myself and my son and I thought that it was just going to be a consultation visit…. So a year ago I had all my teeth pulled with the intention of getting implants at a different dentist. The denture came out ok but they seemed put out for having to make adjustments to the denture. A friend of mine said to go check out Amir at feather sound to see if he could help the first time he just gave me a second opinion, I got the denture from the other dentist and then the pain all over my mouth from non fitting dentures. I went to feather sound again and he was able to zap off some bone Spurs that were growing out of my gums. Today I went back because of how bad the dentures were feeling he did a hard Re-line on the top & now I can feel comfortable & eat solid food. The staff literally everyone of them is helpful always positive and looking for solutions to help. I wish I would have started this process at feather sound. I would have proper fitting dentures and no pain and I look forward to getting the implants from dr Daoud & his staff! Excellent service and assurance they’d get it right awesome experience

Dr. Daoud is the absolute BEST DENTIST! I had a huge fear of dentistry and came to this practice after neglecting dental appointments over my fear. Dr. Daoud was very patient with me and truly understands some people have a very real fear of the dentist chair. He outlined a treatment plan that worked for me and took his time to make sure I was comfortable and happy every step of the way. I can finally say I am not afraid anymore of going to the dentist!!! In the beginning of my treatment plan I opted for sedation as I saw it as a necessity to make it through my fears but after I few visits I no longer needed it. Going to the dentist is not frightening when you have someone that truly has your best interests in mind. The staff is A++ too!
