I’ve been a patient of Dr. Justesen since 1984 and throughout the years received wonderful dental care.  For those times I’ve seen Dr. Christensen my confidence in the service First Impression provides hasn’t diminish.   Additionally I appreciate the office staff as office manager Liz is very helpful in dealing with patients and highly proficient in dealing with insurance providers.

On a Friday morning they were able to get me seen (as a new patient) because I was having tooth pain. Everyone in the office was very friendly which makes you feel a bit better about being at the dentist. When I arrived I was sure I’d have to wait a while, but they got me right back. I had a consultation where I was referred to a specialist nearby. Instead of giving me the paper work and number of the specialist they called them on my behalf and got me seen within two hours. Before I left I knew how much I would owe for them for finishing the root canal (in a couple weeks) and how much I would owe the specialist that morning for performing the actual root canal. I hate to admit it, but I am one of those people who absolutely hate the dentist. As a child I had a extremely traumatic experience at the dentist so, I am always anxious AF going to the dentist. My experience with First Impression Dentistry has given me peace of mind! I highly recommend them and will be back for all my dentistry needs! Thank you!

My entire family loves First Impressions Dentistry and the entire staff!! We recommend everyone we know to visit Liz and make an appointment with either Dr. J or Dr. Christiansen. They are amazing with pain relief, caring for you as a person and understanding we are all individuals. My kids have been going for 2 years now and every 6 months they love getting their teeth cleaned and checked! The entire staff has relieved my dental anxiety and I no longer skip dental work out of fear! First Impression Dentistry is awesome. I love their staff – super friendly and they genuinely care about me and my family. They remember small details (yes even 6 months later) and always ask how my kids are doing. Dr. Justesen is super caring and genuinely wants the best for my teeth and me. Our kids are getting to that age where they’ll start going to the dentist – that will be the 3rd generation from our family to go to First Impression!

I called at 8 AM to make an appointment to have a veneer replaced. I was seated at 9:45 and within an hour had a temporary put on. They were very accommodating and made follow up appoints that day. I have been a patient of Dr. Brad’s 38 years and have confidence in him and his staff. They are very professional and friendly. I don’t know what I’ll do when Brad retires. No other dentist will match his expertise. I’m honored and thankful to be his friend.

Professional front office staff made check-in easy and efficient. Experienced Dentist and Hygienists took care of immediate concerns and made recommendations for follow-up treatment options.  Provided me with names of other dental professionals to address necessary treatment/procedures.  I have a Whitening appointment scheduled with First Impression Dentistry based on their recommendations.   Great Job!

This office has the highest standard of service you could ask for in any line of business. From the knowledge of the front staff to the care of the dental team, nothing but utter professionalism and courtesy. I will be moving to inner Phoenix this fall and have already decided that I will be making the drive in order to continue to receive great experiences from this office. Highly recommended!

My husband started going here years ago through a recommendation of a friend and has been very happy. How many dentists call you at home the evening of having a crown to see how you are doing? Dr. J does? I (the wife) just went Jan. 27 for a second opinion on a couple of issues. The entire office was very welcoming, understanding and helpful. Should have made this change a long time ago

My family has been going to Dr. J for over thirty years!! We love him and his office staff. Dr. Christensen, his partner is also a very knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, kind, and caring dentist. We have referred many friends to both of them and the care has always been excellent. Over the years we have experienced a few dental “emergencies” and have been promptly seen and expertly taken care of. I just can’t say enough about this professional dental practice…except they are the best you can find!!

We’ve been going to Dr. Brad Justesen for about 15 years now. He is the best dentist, we would not go anywhere else. He shares information on the impacts of not flossing, which impacts a lot more of a person’s health than than just getting plaque on the teeth. In addition to his wealth of knowledge, Dr. Justesen and his team are so considerate and caring. They are the best health professional team I have ever gone to. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Justesen and his team.

Going to the dentist isn’t always the most exciting thing to do, but when it’s an emergency, you want to be relieved and comforted as soon as possible. Dr. Justesen and Dr. Christensen and staff are always happy to be there to comfort you as much as possible. This is the second time an emergency came up and they saw me immediately. They truly make you feel like family!!

Dr. Justesen is a wonderful dentist that cares a great deal about his patients. I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. My mother was a patient of his and I now take my daughter. His entire staff is amazing and many of them have been working there for years. Even when I haven’t been going regularly, the second I come in Liz always remembers me and asks about my daughter. They don’t pretend to care about their patients but truly do. I highly recommend Dr. Justesen for all your dental needs!

Dr. Justesen was my dentist from ages 6-21. Oh how I wish I still lived in Mesa to be able to go to him! I’ve since had other dentists complement the crown Dr. Justesen put on one of my teeth–one of them actually called in the other dentist he was sharing the office with to have him admire the crown! Friendly, kind, and what a memory–7 years after my last appointment with him, he still stops my mom in the grocery store and asks how I’m doing. Honest, kind, and caring–this is a great place to get your teeth worked on!

Dr. J is the best in every sense of the word. I have been going to him for about 16 years.His staff has the best service of any office I know of. If you call with questions they are great. They work hard at scheduling my whole family so we get our teeth cleaned at the same time 2 times a year. We travel about 30 miles to see him because he is that good. He is an honest Doctor who works very hard to prevent any major teeth problems. He has a gentle demeanor and is great with kids. My daughter had her first cavity last year and she never realized she had had a shot in her gums. I was amazed.

I am a new client with Dr Justesen and recently had the Zoom teeth whitening process done. Although the procedure was mildly uncomfortable and lasted about an hour, the results were amazing! Mari, Dr Justesen’s Assistant, was able to match the color of my natural teeth to my much lighter veneers perfectly! I was unable to do this at home with just the gel. I am very happy with the results! Dr Justesen and his Staff are very Professional and Caring

Seriously, the BEST dentist I have ever been to.  He is very personable and compassionate.  His staff is amazing.  I recently had to have a crown done and Dr. Justesen was wonderful through the entire experience.  Every few minutes of the procedure he would stop and check in with me to make sure I was ok and he would massage my jaw.  I will recommend everyone I know to him.

My family and I were very happy to be greeted by the front receptionists who were very professional and polite. The cleanings were done perfectly by the very skilled dentists who also gave us special dental supplies and not just the standard dental bag with a toothbrush and floss. Overall, the staff were very professional and polite and it’s the best dentistry I’ve been to in the valley!

I have been dreading getting my teeth cleaned and pushed it off for a couple of years because of a bad experience somewhere else.  I had my teeth cleaned at First Impression recently and it was wonderful. As odd as that sounds for a dentist review, I was greeted with big helpful smiles and right away felt welcomed by the friendly staff. They were so gentle cleaning my teeth, it was not painful at all and I would even say relaxing. My teeth feel amazing and I will definitely be back!

Had to find a new dentist for my boyfriend and myself after moving here from Chicago. They are the friendliest and most helpful dentistry! We feel comfortable and well taken care of when we come here. Front desk is so nice and willing to help and knowledgeable! They have a pretty flexible schedule as well which helps if we need to make a last minute appointment change. Highly recommend this place!

Having lost the gene pool lottery, I have some ridiculous health problems that are very hard on my teeth. As a result of this Dr J has placed 7 crowns for me in the last 2 years along with filling several cavities so I have extensive experience with him and his staff. I’ve seen about half a dozen dentists in my lifetime and he is hands down the best. Everyone in the office is very friendly and considerate and they do first rate work. I will likely move out of Arizona soon, but will be sure to make an appointment with Dr J anytime I come back to AZ.

FIrst Impressions last forever! LOl kicking myself for not finding this practice 4 years ago as they are nearly on my doorstep. SUPER friendly, professional, very safe (re covid) and everyone I spoke with or encountered seemed genuine and there was no PUSHY sell sell sell that can come with some dental practices. Every suggestion for what was needed was supplied with a why (and a picture) making me feel like there wa sa genuine desire to assist with my oral health. Also i am a bit of a neurotic when it comes to sitting in the dental chair and i was made to feel comfortable and the hygienist was skilled and gentle. Sending my family & friends for sure. I have been coming to see Dr Justesen almost my entire life. His entire staff makes you feel welcome and at ease. They all feel like family at this point! Dr Christensen is an amazing addition and (as someone who is terrified of shots and being worked on) I am so happy that my first experience was with Dr C who made it quick, painless, and made sure that I was ok the entire time.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS, and I’ll continue coming here for years to come. Dr. Justesen has assembled an amazing office that feels like family each time you walk in the door, even though most of us only come twice a year! It’s been great to watch them expand their practice over the years, and Dr. Christensen is an exceptional addition to the team. What I love about this office is that everyone here really seems to care about you and your dental health. I never feel like a number, nor do I feel rushed in or rushed out. Everyone listens to my concerns (when I have them) and looks to find the right solution. There’s a great focus on educating the patient to engage in preventative measures for dental health, which may be why I’ve had such good dental health for so long! For those afraid of going to the dentist because of judgment, don’t be. No one in this office will judge you, no matter what situation you’re experiencing. I’ve never felt judged, even when I admitted that I wasn’t doing all I am supposed to (like flossing every day – working on it!). I wish I could give ten stars, but yelp limits me to five. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I cannot recommend Dr. J and his staff enough.

Our family of 4 had such a great experience with First Impressions Dentistry. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. They really worked as a team to help get our family in and out smoothly. They were absolutely great with both of my kids (3 yrs and 20 months) I couldn’t have asked for a better dental experience for my husband and I AND for our kids, it’s nice when you can find both in the same place!!

Today was my first time back to a dentist in a while, I had been putting it off for way. It was a clean and calm environment. Loved all of the staff! Front desk, dentist assistant, hygienist and the Dr himself were all very friendly and seemed happy to be at work. I got a nice little goody bag with info, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, mouth wash, and even a water bottle and pen. I enjoyed my experience and will be back in the future

First Impression Dentistry is by far THE BEST dentist I have ever been to. The entire staff is extremely nice, caring, personable and friendly. Dr. Justisen and Dr. Christiansen provide excellent care and treatment and are very gentle ensuring your comfort throughout the entire process. To top it off, they are some of the nicest gentlemen you will ever meet. I used to have severe anxiety about the dentist, but that no longer exists with this group. I highly recommend this place!!!

I have been a patient of Dr J for almost 15 years and that should tell the story by itself. I had the pleasure of working with Dr Christensen today as well and it is clear to me this will be a fantastic partnership. This dental practice understands communication from setting appointments to speaking with you before, during and after a dental service (cavity, crown, cleaning, whatever it may be). This includes assuring whatever insurance benefits you may be entitled to are accurately researched and applied. They are technologically on top of everything with their equipment yet still have a great “chair-side manner.” 🙂 I would recommend either Dr J or Dr C and their staff to anyone in the East Valley who wants consistent personal AND professional dental care.

Very happy with this dental office. Had an honest evaluation, did not feel like I did at some other shady dentists in the area. What I liked most about this dentist, is I was able to get a hygienist cleaning on my first day, and was able to schedule a 2nd appointment for some other dental work. I researched many dentist in the area, and not one other was worth my time. Hope this review helps others receive great dental care as well.

I recently discovered Dr. Justesen after my other long-time dentist retired.  I couldn’t be more pleased with how I was received on my first visit.  The whole staff helped me feel at home.  These are people you would want as next door neighbors.  More importantly, the knowledge and skills of these professionals are exemplary.  I have had plenty of experience sitting in a dental chair, so I know.  After exams, cleaning, and having a crown reset I can tell you that Dr. Justesen, his assistant, and hygienist are all very skilled.  The front office has a professional demeanor as well.  First impressions?  Sure.  But, trust me on this. You’ll be glad you did!

I’ve been seeing Dr. J for at least the last 35 years!! No that wasn’t a typo : ) I wasn’t lucky enough to have had perfect teeth as a kid, so I saw Dr. J pretty often for fillings & crowns. I still have some of the silver fillings he did more than 25 years ago!! Of all the work I’ve ever had done, & trust me it’s a lot, I’ve never had his work fail. Not a single crown or filling has ever leaked requiring a root canal. Not a single filling has ever fallen out. Not one time was I ever unhappy with the work he did. Not once! Dr. J is hands down THE BEST!! He is honest, very professional, & he shows great care for his patients’ comfort level. He also has a staff chalked full of amazing people! They’re all very kind, professional, & understanding of all your concerns & anxieties. Dr. J & his team are truly exceptional!!

I love going to my dental appointments because the entire staff is sooo awesome! They are always so friendly and courteous. I’ve always received great caring service from all of them. I love how Dr. Justesen pops in and asked how I’m doing and asks if there’s anything I need; just makes me feel special!

Everyone is super nice and it’s not one of those dentistries where they find some bogus things that are wrong and then you go some place else to get a second opinion and find that the first dentist office was trying to just make money off you. This office is honest and I haven’t been to the dentist in over a year and felt it was time for a cleaning. Turns out I have zero cavities. It was refreshing to go to an honest dentist! Come here and see Dr C or Dr J! It’s hard to find a good dentist. Plus all the employees are happy and there’s cool music and lots of family pics.

I typically don’t write reviews, plus I really don’t like the dentist, but who does right?   From the very first day I visited Dr. Justesen and his staff, it has been the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office.  Trust me I’ve never been one to take care of my teeth as I should, and I will need extensive work done, but Dr. Justesen and his staff are the best at what they do!!!!!!!!  I would definitely recommend coming to Dr. Justesen for all your dental needs.
