Dr. Gold is the man. He’s a very personable character who will explain everything he’s doing so that you can feel at ease. He even gave me a mirror to see what my tooth looked like pre-filling because I sounded interested in the procedure. His staff is very friendly and punctual. There’s also a pretty big dog in the office (that I think belongs to someone else) that doesn’t do much. But it’s very fluffy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gold’s for many years and am extremely satisfied. The entire office consistently goes above and beyond. When I originally discussed Invisalign with him, I was not too keen on it. I had a pesky tooth that was slowly rotating and affecting my bite and soon- other teeth. So I began Invisalign about 8 or so months ago and recently completed all my trays . I can now say -the experience was a breeze and if you are considering them – do it! The initial visit is longer for attachments but all the follow-ups are brief check ins for new trays . At first, the trays are slightly uncomfortable and you do need to get the hang of taking them in and out of your mouth and brushing your teeth. But, it all becomes automatic. My teeth and bite are aligned with what I would say was a really small amount of work and the process was super simple!!

I have been to many dentist in my life and Dr. Gold is by far the best. His knowledge and expertise is far superior than any other dentist I know. Not only is he an amazing dentist, but he actually cares about his patients. He checks in and makes sure everything is okay. He is truly one of a kind and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Highly recommend (and I’ve done a lot of research to look for a dentist)!! EXCELLENT experience! Hands-down best time at the dentist – and I am extra terrified of dental work, especially needles. NO PAIN WHATSOEVER! Dr. Gold made damn sure I was comfortable, and checked in on me every other minute. He also explained the procedure during the entire time, telling me what tools he’s using and why. He managed my expectations really well, and took care of any unknown. He also really took the time to let each stages of anesthetics sink in, made sure that it didn’t hurt, which I didn’t go through beforehand with any other dentists. You know a doctor is human when they start talking about their kids, vacation, anything else but work as well! Great conversations with him while we waited for the anesthetic to set in!

This visit with Lee Gold was flawless, as always. With his calm, considerate demeanor and constant communication, Dr. Gold makes the daunting prospect of going to the dentist’s office downright pleasant. Moreover, he and and his team manage a very smooth, comfortable, and well-run office; I’ve never had to wait. Thank you Dr. Gold!

As someone who despises a trip to the dentist, I was apprehensive about trying someone new after I became dissatisfied with my current practitioner. But I was pleasantly surprised after my first visit with Dr. Gold! His staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and make you feel completely at ease. It’s such a rare thing to find in any medical office, and I was so impressed with their attentiveness to every single patient. Knowing I was nervous about my first cleaning, the dental hygienist continually checked in on me to ensure I was comfortable. In my subsequent visits, other hygienists were equally as attentive. Dr. Gold was as great as his staff. He was patient during each and every appointment, taking the time to explain any procedures, the steps involved, and what to expect during and after. Having a filling and crown put in is never fun, but it certainly made things easier to have him provide clear expectations. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone in NYC!

Dr. Gold and his staff are the best!  They have been so helpful with scheduling and kind when i’ve had multiple emergencies come up the day of appointments. Dr. Gold has filled multiple cavities/ repaired other people’s botched work and I am still saying the whole office gets 5 stars after those less than pleasant experiences.  Highest recommendation possible!

This place is so wonderful. I haven’t had to get any major work done – so I really can’t speak for their oral surgery type skills. But everyone in the office is wonderfully nice and very accommodating. I’ve never waited more than a couple of minutes for my appointments. The office is beautiful and very relaxing. Dr. Gold is super cool. Everyone there listens to you. They don’t try to get you to do things that you don’t need to do. And they might even help you out a little if you have a problem affording something that you really need… 😉 Definitely give this place a shot.

So I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed a Dentist before? This place was just amazing, literally the staff was awesome, it had such an easy going vibe for a dentist office, Dr. Gold was so nice to me, I had a million questions, was really scared etc etc, b/c well I’m afraid of the dentist. He is awesome will totally be back….

Dr. Gold is the kind of dentist who shakes your hand, looks you in the eye and tells you like it is, which is something I care a lot about my medical care. He made me feel comfortable and confident in his treatment plan after I had a really unpleasant experience with another dentist where I left in tears and with the work only half done. I know I’m about to go in for more work that will likely be painful because of its location, but I feel safe with Dr. Gold and know that he will do the best for my dental health and comfort.

I had to have extensive work done–an old bridge replaced and two new crowns made–and went to Dr. Gold based on recommendations from co-workers. I have never been more impressed with a doctor. I wish he did more than teeth, because I would feel comfortable seeing him for anything. My insurance covered only a part of the procedure but his office were happy to work out a very accommodating payment plan, and I could not possibly be happier with the finished product. I will see Dr. Gold for as long as I have teeth 🙂

Dr. Gold has easily the best technique of any dentist I have ever seen. I had six cavities filled and did not feel discomfort at any point in the procedure, even when he was initially administering novocaine. He is engaging and checked throughout the appointment to make sure I was still comfortable and pain free. He has my highest recommendation – I won’t even consider another dentist again.

Dr Gold is very easy going, makes sure you’re relaxed during your procedures, and really cares about the work he’s doing. Dental work in NYC is quite pricey, but I consider Dr Gold’s charges fair. He always reviews potential costs with you and has an estimate emailed to you before the work begins. Entirely transparent. Always 5 stars for him and his entire team!

I’ve never written a review before on Yelp… but I felt compelled to after my visit with Dr. Gold. By far the best dental visit I’ve ever had. Dr. Gold has a wonderful way about him and I felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout the visit. His staff is very friendly and accommodating and I can’t recommend him enough.

After trying multiple dentists in NYC, I was pleasantly surprised to finally find a dentist that treats you like a human being and not just another patient coming through the door! Dr. Gold is personable and friendly and seems to have the patients’ best interest at hand. The last time I visited Dr. Gold for a follow-up appointment, I was very late but was surprised when they still managed to squeeze me in regardless of time. The receptionist at the front desk is very helpful and friendly too. Everyone that works there in general seems much more friendly and inviting than other doctor/dentist experiences I’ve had in the past. I’d definitely recommend 🙂

I’ve been to many dentist and he is by far the best. He listens and he cares about his patients which I find is rare. His dental staff are also really nice and professional and they get me in immediately when I am having an issue. I trust him and would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Lee Gold is a standout! My 16 yo daughter has had a lot of work done this year and actually looks forward to her visits. I don’t know a single soul who can say that about their dentist visits. He does EVERYTHING right. From being super-informative and forthright about the process, to just being a dad and knowing how to work with kids, you are in more than capable, in fact expert hands with Dr. Gold. Highly recommend ??????????

I have been a patient for over 8 years and as always my visit with Dr Gold was easy and enjoyable. He and his staff are always kind and courteous and get you in and out without a wait. On my last visit Dr Gold gave me 3 small fillings, no pain and my mouth felt back to normal within 30 minutes of leaving the office. I will be back for my cleaning in November!

I found Dr. Gold through Yelp and I’m so glad I did. The office was able to get me in on short notice, which was awesome. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very nice and did an incredible job. It has been a really long time since I went to the dentist and she really impressed me. Dr. Gold was very friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. The office is really beautiful as well.

Was impressed and relaxed as soon as I walked in. Soothing modern office, super friendly receptionist. Everyone I interacted with was nice, friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. There’s not a lot pleasant about a dentist appointment, but they did everything possible to try and make it so. X-ray technician was gentle, took her time. Dr. Gold was awesome. Really comforting. Took the time to review my xrays with me and explain everything in detail. Straightforward, yet empathetic. I found my new dentist!

Best dentist I’ve encountered in my 20+ years in New York. Dr. Gold is great with the regular dental work as he is with any treatments you may need and will not prescribe anything unreasonable that will keep you coming back and rack up bills. As for appointments, I have had great experience booking appointments even when rescheduling.

After getting a deep cleaning a few weeks ago, I came back to get two fillings. The experience was as painless as possible and Dr. Gold was professional and very friendly, as were his dental assistants the reception staff. Nice office and made sure to check in with me about what insurance would or wouldn’t cover before proceeding, which I thought was ethical and helpful

Best dentist I have EVER had. Excellent demeanor, conservative in his approach (meaning, he won’t chop up your teeth or prescribe ridiculous treatments if they’re not necessary). He’s gentle and aware of your comfort. If you’re shy of dentist-going, he’s certainly the one to help. I mean, really, you almost feel like you’re entering a spa on account of the terrarium builders with whom he shares a floor, and the treatment you get from the staff makes you feel important, cared for, and prioritized. Highly recommend.
