Flint river dental is an amazing place to have dental work done. I get extremely nervous when it comes to dental work. They did an amazing job making me feel comfortable. I was even tapping to a song while dr Darby was pulling my teeth out. Between dr. Darby and her assistant (I’m terrible with names) it couldn’t have been a better experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of dental work.

I am absolutely amazed with the kindness and awesome work that Dr. Darby and her staff do!!! I had a terrible experience when I was a child and I let my teeth go because I was scared to go to the dentist, in saying that, I’m so thankful I found Dr. Darby and her staff. I can tell you from my own experience that they are the best!! Everyone from the receptionist, dental hygienists, dental assistants to Dr. Darby are kind, caring and most of all patient. I’m teeth absolutely look amazing and I’m so thankful to them for making me smile again!!!!

Had my first visit yesterday, 8/13/20. Went in to have a broken tooth/loose crown looked at. Am having the work done in a month (because if a medical issue). I love Dr. Darby and her staff was already!!! Dr. Darby and her assistant, Nicky, took interest in my medical history, explained the procedure to me, gave me options and answered my questions!!! Have been looking for a new dental practice for a while and Flint River Dental is the one for me!!! Also love that they are Christian based!!! This dentist office is great and the staff is amazing. All the staff members have been nothing but kind, supportive, and encouraging. I still have a couple more visits to complete my work but since day one they have been very nice and very concerned about my comfort and anxiety. I initially was looking for quotes for my dental work but because of their kindness and understanding of my fears I did not look anywhere else. Also, they were honest about the work I needed and didn’t need. I highly recommend Flint River Dental, especially for those with dental fears and anxiety. I imagine that their calmness, kindness, and concern for comfort would also be great for kids.

Took my two-year-old to her first dentist appointment today and it was a delight! I also had a cleaning and loved how family-friendly the staff were. They were willing to help keep my little one occupied while I had my cleaning and even said if I ever didn’t have childcare for one of my appointments, to bring my two littles right along! Such a relief to hear as a full-time mom! I also received a cute shirt and keychain as a welcome gift! So fun!

I think Dr.Darby and her staff are wonderful. I am the biggest chicken when it comes to going to a dentist I put it off till I have to go then I show up and my anxiety is thru the roof they were very patient with me talked to me about my choices. I ended having it pulled I have never had such a easy procedure before and it came out in one piece that has never happened. They are so good I will be going back in 2 weeks to get my teeth cleaned a first for me. I highly recommend them they are very professional but also in tune with their patients needs I am very satisfied with my care today. A big thanks to them all.

Best service ever! My son experienced a tooth ache during the weekend. Dr. Darby not only answered my late night phone call, but agreed to meet me at her office early that next morning. I have been a frequent flyer to the dental chair all my life; having had numerous fillings, root canals, crowns, surgeries, implants, etc done to my teeth and gums. As a result, I am skeptical and skittish about every dentist, every hygienist, and every procedure. Basically I am a high maintenance dental patient. Dr. Darby and the staff at Flint River Dental bend over backwards to give me the best care and advice, and ensure my comfort in anyway they can. They refer when necessary to some of the best specialized dental docs I have ever met. I appreciate the individual attention they give me. I am not an easy patient to deal with but they do it professionally and with much care and understanding. I appreciate that so much. Kudos to Flint River Dental!

I went in this morning to have all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. I’m 46 and terrified of dentists. I have to admit I was very nervous but all I can say is WOW. I arrived to the sweetest staff smiling and McKenzie took complete care of me. Dr Darby checked on me immediately and gave me more medication to just relax me. I barely remember the numbing injections. It was like a bee sting. And then I remember sitting up and ready to go home. I was there 2 hrs and it felt like 15 minutes. Thanks McKenzie and Dr Darby I think my fear of dentists has changed. I will follow you wherever you go. Thanks for treating me like one of your own kids. For the first time in months my teeth are not causing the pain I had before. I can deal with the surgical pain because it will go away. It’s gonna be a pain free Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This is a great dentist office. It has a nice lobby where there’s coffee, water, and tea for you or anyone you bring with you to consume while you wait. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt when it comes to answering the phone or any questions you may have. This is not like some dentist that try and make you have unnecessary procedures just to rack up the bill. Also, they do try and do alot of procedures in-house which will save you some time and money but. On the off chance your procedure cannot, then they refer you out to a specialist that is also a great facility to go to. Overall I would definitely refer my friends here as I have already refered all my family.

Hands down absolute best dentist I’ve ever been yo, I’m not too proud to say that I got 7 crowns from them but they were very good during all of the procedures. Called them today about some pain in my jaw and upper and lower right teeth, they were able to get me in same day. Both Dr. Darby and Dr. Henninger are great. The dentist is not something most consider enjoyable but all of the Flint River Dental staff make every visit the best possible.

I LOVE this office!! Everyone is so nice! The hygienists have never made me feel bad over my lack of flossing and they’re so gentle! The Dentists are so honest as well! I had another dentist tell me that my gums were receding and that I needed a graft. I then came to this office and asked the Doctor her opinion about my gums and she said that my gums are nowhere near bad enough for a graft. Lastly, I don’t have very good dental insurance, so I have to pay cash for certain things like x-rays and fillings, but the prices are no where near as high as some other places I’ve been to! So I just absolutely love it! Highly recommend!!

When I first came to flint River dental, I hadn’t been to a dentist in about ten years. I was ashamed and embarrassed of my smile. I have had a fear of dentists since childhood. From the minute I met Dr. Darby, I knew I was in the right place. She talked with me about my fears and concerns and I never once felt judged by the condition of my teeth. She was so understanding, gentle and kind. After lots of visits, I have a new smile that I can be proud of and it wouldn’t have happened without Dr Darby. All of the staff at Flint River Dental are very nice and professional. I highly recommend taking that step and putting your fears aside. Go see them, you won’t regret it. Because of them, I’m no longer afraid and I will never avoid going to see the dentist again.

I just returned from Flint River Dental. Unfortunately, I had to have a tooth pulled. I went Yesterday afternoon to see Dr. Darby because i was in a lot of pain. She gave me some antibiotics and pain medication and I returned this afternoon for the extraction. Everyone was so kind and helpful to me. Dr. Darby’s assistant prepped me and was really nice. Dr. Darby injected me with the shots to deaden the area and I only felt minimum discomfort. She waited for the area to become numb and then extracted the tooth. I was amazed at how fast and painless it was. I told Dr..Darby and her assistant that I gave them an AA+ and that was the best extraction I ever experienced. I’m sure they are all not that easy but Dr. Darby will do her best. I would recommend Dr. Darby and her staff if you need a dentist. She is the best I have found in the Huntsville area
