So you have extreme dentist fear? Then this is the place to go. I am a grown ass woman who, after making an appointment for a deep cleaning was shaking and sweating and even attempted to cancel my appointment. The women who work in the office are incredibly patient and empathetic. After a Valium, a playlist and a stress ball, I was barely able to get through the local anesthesia. The hygienist even held my hand and they kept reassuring me through the process, in a totally non condescending way. Ashley was very professional and gentle. I’m telling you guys I was CRYING in the chair based on past traumatic experiences, and I don’t think I could have gotten through it at another practice. I highly recommend them, especially for folks with dental phobia.

So helpful and efficient. I had a niece come to town for the holiday and she was in pain.  I called and got an appointment for that day and Dr Harvey went way above and beyond to get her taken care of.  Not only that, but she stayed after hours to complete a root canal so that my niece would not have to go somewhere else when she got back to school in Pullman.  Dr. Harvey took such a personal approach to the situation, knowing she did not have a car and it would be difficult for her to finish the process when she went back home.  It was an amazing experience with a dentist who really cared about the situation we were in.  We were able to enjoy the rest of the week, pain free and worry free.

I do not like going to the dentist. I know nothing about teeth except that they are pain in the ass that have to be taken care of. But if I have to go to the dentist, it will be to Fremont Family Dentistry. Dr. Harvey and her staff are as pleasant as they are courteous and efficient. Moreover, they explain things in such a way that you begin to actually understand what needs to be done and how best to care for your teeth. Most important, Dr. Harvey and her staff never talk down to you. Most dentists do, and I have found this to be the sign, in fact, of an inferior dentist. The work is done quickly at Fremont Family Dentistry, and the prices reasonable (actually, EXTREMELY reasonable when you consider the extraordinary quality of the work. Worth traveling a few extra miles if not right in Seattle for these people.

I came in to have a filling that fell out fixed, only to discover I had over 5 cavities! I was mortified, and nervous about having to spend that much time in the dentist chair, I have had bad experiences in the past. The dentist could not have been more thorough in her examination of my teeth. She set my nerves at ease as she walked me through her recommendations. Honestly, I had been neglecting my dental hygiene. We came up with a plan and they got me in THE NEXT DAY, unheard of as a new patient! All the staff in this office are lovely. What I liked most is that everyone told me what they were doing as they did it so there were no surprises, and they educated me about all kinds of things I didn’t know about my teeth and the ecosystem in my mouth. It made me excited to start taking care of them. Anyway, the vibe in this dental office is amazing, I honestly felt like I was hanging out with friends (very smart friends!). It was the best dental experience I had ever had (and I was there for 3 hours getting so much done). I actually want to go back and get my teeth cleaned with them, they do an intense cleaning. Seriously, who WANTS to go back to the  dentist!? I cannot recommend them more! Take it from me, I have been to over 10 dentists (had veneers and a ton of other dental work), you won’t find a better dental office, technitians, or dentist than here.

I had the most amazing experience at Fremont Family dental. Amy helped me the majority of the time and between laughing the entire time and feeling like I was just hanging out with old friends, she managed to help me get on a treatment plan that was perfect for my current situation (wisdom teeth). I recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a chill, professional, educated and clean environment to have their teeth taken care of.

I have been coming to Fremont Family Dentistry for almost two years, and I could not be happier.  Dr. Harvey is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful.  I had gum disease when I first came to Fremont Family Dentistry, and I didn’t even know it.  Jen is the most amazing hygienist I’ve ever had work on my teeth.  With her help, my gums are healthier than they’ve been in 20 years.  I see her every 3 months, and I actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned.  I am so thankful to have found Fremont Family Dentistry!

Traveling from out of state with an infected tooth, I was successfully treated for my problem at Fremont Family dental. because of a seven day (including one weekend) Seattle schedule, all work-permanent crown removal, root canal, form fitting, and permanent crown replacement-had to be completed on an expedited basis. The work was completed on my last day in Seattle I returned to the East Coast with a permanent repair, no infection and no toothache. That is only part of the story. Based on the extensive x-rays taken to diagnose my condition, Dr. Harvey discovered additional infection caused by problems of adjacent bridgework. As result I was able to act on this advice with corrective dentistry back home. There’s more. Also while at Fremont the oral hygienist measured pockets of infection in my gums and corrected this with the best oral cleaning I can remember. At all times I was aware of a very professional team working together on my behalf. Finally, I came away with a much better understanding of what I have to do to maintain what for me as an important quality of life feature-the health and vitality of my teeth. Fremont Family Dentistry has been a little dental “heaven on earth” for me.  When I selected Dr. Maravash Harvey from my provider list 7 years ago I wanted her to pull all of my teeth and give me dentures so I would never again have to suffer the torture of dams. qauze, drills, hands, suction devices, and cold water in my wide open mouth.  I was sure I would die as I struggled minute by minute to prevent an ever increasing accumulation of fluids from slipping into my lungs and choking me.  I am still alive and every tooth has been saved.  I can’t say that I have come to love the process but my dentist has been kind, skillful, respectful and responsive to my needs each time I have visited. Dr. Harvey has built her practice on a genuine interest in the well-being of her patients, generosity and an admirable emphasis on family.  Over the years her hygienists, desk staff, and office managers have been consistently capable, friendly, helpful and happy with their jobs because they are supported and encouraged to do their best.  Dr. Harvey is flesh and blood; a real person.  I have been very pleased to get to know her and am grateful to have found a dentist I can trust to take care of my needs and the complexities of insurance benefits and bill paying.  I’m saying thank you in every way to Fremont Family Dentistry.

I have been going here for years and I continue to do so for one reason–Dr. Khajavi-Harvey. She is amazing. No matter how busy she is she always takes time to talk with you and to explore all options. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her profession. I always leave feeling well cared for and well educated. I appreciate Dr. Khajavi-Harvey’s honesty and I can tell that my well being is her top priority. Like some of the other reviews, I have had problems with the office in relation to my insurance, however, when there was a communication problem, they fixed it and did not charge me. It is good practice to always, no matter where you go, double check that the procedure being preformed will be covered by your insurance. Overall, I highly recommend Fremont Family Dentistry, especially Dr. Khajavi-Harvey!

I never write a review, however, Fremont Family Dentistry deserves the recognition. From Natalie, the Practice Manager, to Nicole at the front desk, to the dental hygienist, and the doctor that I saw – they’re all great. First, they use ZocDoc, the app, which made scheduling my very first apt super easy! Second, they called my old dental office in Boston and had my records/images sent over (saving me a 25$ processing charge had I requested them myself), took new x-rays (free of charge to me – as the ones that were sent were not legible), and fit me into a calendar filled day when I needed some work to fix a filling that was causing my bite to be off. Fremont Family Dentistry made my “not so favorite thing”, much more enjoyable. GO SEE THEM! They’ll certainly continue to get my business.

Dr. Harvey and her team are top notch. When asked who we use for dentist or orthodontic care, I always recommend the practice to all my friends! I went to Dr. Harvey this spring for the first time when I was told by my dentist, I needed to consider Invisalign. At the time my daughter was told by her dentist she needed a retainer. During our search for our orthodontic care we discovered Dr. Harvey. She was the only doctor that took the time to meet with us and discuss our options and the treatments. Plus she was the best price, which was a bonus. All the other offices we visited only sent their office staff to go over their recommendation, no options. My daughter and I started orthodontic care with them this spring. The doctors and staff have been so wonderful that we have switched to use them as our primary dentist as well. What is better than a one stop shop, especially one that is friendly and great with your kids. I have also changed my son’s dentist over to Dr. Harvey. She has such a great bed side manner with the kids and her staff is always kind and helpful!
