I usually never leave reviews but wanted to thank the wonderful staff at Fresh Dental in some way. I’ve been putting off my wisdom teeth extraction for a while – my previous dentist had deferred this to an oral surgeon, who advised the procedure under GA and requiring me to take some time off work which was not possible. Dr Lee was very thorough in her evaluation and I felt comfortable with leaving tooth extraction in her capable hands. The procedure itself was surprisingly quick and painless, all helped by the attentive patient manner demonstrated by all of the staff members. Thank you again!

The best experience I’ve had!! It had been a few years since my last dentist visit so was feeling extremely nervous and anxious. The hygienist Mo was amazing 🙂 No ‘shame on you’ vibes when I explained it had been a while! He was positive and encouraging and eased my anxiety right away. Loved that Dr. Lee explained everything in detail, and didn’t pressure or make me feel like I needed unnecessary treatments! Left feeling confident and will definitely be back for my 6 month cleaning! Highly recommend!!

This was my first visit to this office and it was a perfect experience. The staff all around are incredibly nice and welcoming. The waiting area is nice and cozy packed with complementary water and coffee. My hygienist was incredibly nice and informative. She and Dr. Lee listened to all of my concerns and addressed them in the most professional measure. I scheduled my 6 month cleaning right after walking out of the exam room. This place is top notch!

I had an amazing experience at Fresh Dental! Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming, starting with the women at the front desk as soon as you walk in. Jose, the dental assistant, took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing before he started doing it which made me feel a lot more comfortable in the chair. Once the dentist came in, he sat down and explained my x-rays to me and steps moving forward. I feel like a lot of dental offices try to rush through your appointment and don’t care about you or your oral health at all. This was not the case here. I’m very pleased with this dental office!

Fresh dental could be a metaphor for a new type of dental care. I went in for radiographs and a dental cleaning, and can confidently say that the quality of dental care was comprehensive and thorough. Both Patty and Dr. Lee answered my questions thoroughly and gave great feedback throughout the procedures. Additionally, customer service is on point. From the greeting to the farewell, all the staff I interacted with were The most attractive qualities of this establishment has to be its interior design and ambience. Looking around you can tell that every square foot of the lobby was meticulously designed for customer comfort. Adding to the overall experience is the comfortable ambience of the place – with music and friendly artwork. I would highly recommend Fresh Dental for anyone looking for quality care and a refreshing experience.

I had a fantastic experience at Fresh Dental! You walk into their beautiful office and are greeted by their friendly staff. If you complete your paperwork before hand, you’ll probably be in the dentist’s chair within 5 min of arrival. Once inside, the hygienist gives you the lay of the land and the dentist gets to know you and your medical history. In my case the dentist was Dr. Hyo Seon Lee, DDS. Dr. Lee is a consummate professional with excellent bedside manner. She really takes her time listening to you and, of course, assessing your oral health. One thing Dr. Lee did that I’ve never experienced before (not sure if this is actually a common practice) was use a pen like instrument to take high resolution macro images of teeth meriting extra attention, throw them up on a screen, and explain what I was looking at…perhaps there’s some build up or the gums look inflamed. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it immensely helpful and interesting to be able to visualize what this particular cleaning will entail. Really cool stuff. The cleaning itself was quick and relatively painless (cleanings will never not be uncomfortable…) and was performed by Dr. Lee herself. No complaints there. All told I spent 45 min from entrance to exit and am happy to recommend it to anyone looking for dentists in the area. Fresh Dental is the best ☺️

Best dental experience Ive had so far. This office is super clean (new chairs!) and has all the new tech as the dental staff is up-to-date. Even the waiting room is memorable. Highly recommend!! Location is great as it is right next to a starbucks lol. Reception was friendly and welcoming and Dr. Lee is so nice and professional. She was super gentle with my fillings. I can tell she really cares about the health of your teeth long term and keeps you informed. They take Delta Dental insurance.

I just had my first appointment at fresh dental. Everyone was so nice, quick and professional. The Doctor will sit down with you go through all your pictures of your teeth to explain whats going on. I have had some pain in my tooth and he took the time to figure out my issue and not just assumed it was from grinding my teeth. He took the time to find out that I had trauma to that tooth and may be experiencing delayed trauma. He let me know what I should expect going forward so I can be prepared. I really appreciated that rather than throwing an expensive mouth guard at me that I may not need.

See, I’m not scared of dentists for traditional reasons (poking, prodding, bleeding, and whatnot). No, it’s the psychological damage I’m afraid of. “Well maybe if you flossed more, you wouldn’t be bleeding!”; “Who taught you how to brush?”**proceeds to brush my teeth in a condescending manner**; “With these teeth, nobody’s ever gonna love you” ^^Actual words dentists have spoken into my face. I didn’t receive any of that at Dr. Lees office. The hygienist was super friendly and made me feel like a validated human rather than a lab rat. I appreciated that. Dr. Lee herself was very well mannered and helped me figure out a plan of action for my dental future, completely centered around my needs and wants. I appreciated that as well. I’ll be going here for the remainder of my time in Chicago.

As someone who is nervous about trying new dentists and had bad experiences in the past, I can’t say enough good things about Fresh Dental! Staff is so friendly, parking was convenient and the dentist did the cleaning himself which was new to me. They were thorough and made sure I understood everything in my dental plan moving forward. He even took pictures of my 2 cavaties to show me what they look like! I have really had the fear of getting scammed by dentists (not sure why lol), but at Fresh Dental that is truly not the case. I can honestly say I’m looking forward to going back!

The office was proactive on reaching out to fill out the necessary paper work before my visit. This made the office visit really efficient and the office receptionist was aware of my appointment and was able to let me know all the paperworks are complete. The office itself was very clean and bright. The only thing is that from seat to seat it is not completely separated so you could hear the noises from the tools very clearly. I was seen first by the dental hygienist, Jose. He was friendly and communicated everything that is being done clearly. I had my teeth cleaned by him and it was quick and efficient. He communicated any point where there might be discomfort which put me at ease. I was then seen by Dr. Lee to go over the x-rays. She pointed out areas where we would keep an eye out for as well as go over the overall dental health. She was friendly and detailed oriented. This was one of the best dental office experience I have had and I would definitely recommend them

I can’t say enough good things about Fresh Dental by the Broadway Mariano’s store. I’m finally not afraid to go see the dentist!!! I work at Marianos on Broadway and Wellington and coming to this location is very convenient for me! Best care, in town! When you come here they make you feel like you are at home. I went in for a minor issue I had, but left very happy that I had finally got a new dentist. I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist thanks to some horrendous past experiences. This past year has been the first time in my lifetime that I felt okay (for the most part, nerves still get the best of me) with getting dental work done. I have had various procedures done from dental cleaning to crown work and interacted with several employees and everyone has been super professional but also extremely nice, which helps a lot when you’re a ball of nerves. I feel like the front desk staff does a really good job with coverage explanations and they do a great job to accommodate appointment times. While I still don’t get excited about going to the dentist I am extremely grateful to have found this team. I was referred by a friend and I immediately referred other people in my life because everyone should have a good experience at the dentist. If you want to get on track with your dental health and want an overall dental health assessment and treatment plan laid out- this is the spot for you.

I have received a few treatments here for 8 months now and I’m confident in the ability and honesty of this husband-and-wife team. The most important criterion for me – both are extremely competent. They are very efficient. Fill a bunch of cavities in less than an hour. Get the prep work for a crown done in under 45 min. They explain why some work needs to be done right away while others could wait and see. Their charges are reasonable. And they provide accurate pre-treatment estimates. Same with the front desk staff and hygienists. They are professional and efficient. That is my kind of dentist office. I could completely trust them and believe that they look out for my best interests.

Weren’t dental appointments so simple when we were 6 years old? You went in, they cleaned your teeth, and you got a new toothbrush, a sugar free lollipop, and your choice of flavored floss on the way out. Mint or cinnamon…the winner was always cinnamon. Then those teeth fall out and here comes a whole new set that you have to maintain for the next 7 decades and that’s when things get real. A pre-holiday root canal and crown weren’t in my plans, but here we are. I’d been waffling back and forth over finding a local dentist for a while, so when I saw that Fresh Dental was so close to my home, my gym, and Mariano’s, I decided to give them a try. I’m glad that I did. When you have pressing dental issues, a trip to the chair can only be so pleasant. Dr. Lee and her staff were able to get me as close as possible; they are friendly, funny, knowledgeable, meticulous, and quick to explain what they were doing, which is SO important to a person like me who is *whispers* afraid of the dentist. If I can feel this positively after a root canal and crown, we’re only on our way up once I’m just there for a cleaning!

Few enjoy dental visits, I am one of them. I had not been to a dentist in years, since retiring, I could no longer go to the same dentist and then covid..After being vaccinated, I was looking for a dentist close to where I live and one that would accept my insurance. I chose Fresh Dental and boy did I luck up! I have been to 2 appointments so far. Everyone is friendly, masked, organized, the rooms are clean and each procedural room has an air filter keeping the air free of covid! The equipment is state of the art so now x-rays are a breeze which are put on a TV screen in the procedural room while the dentist shows you what needs to be done and how they will proceed. Any questions are welcomed and answered. The hygienists are professional and competent, I felt no pain during the procedures and they tell you what they are doing and ask how you’re feeling. I had 2 fillings, done by the dentist, no pain, efficient and my comfort was a priority! Everything was done with nice music in the background! The whole experience was a total pleasure! A dental visit!
