Always get my teeth cleaned here and it’s really smooth and quick. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Been here since I was a kid and they helped me out a great deal with cavities and such! I highly recommend coming here!

I’ve been coming to Garfield Dental Group since I was a kid! The doctors are incredible USC graduates (so you know you’re in good hands) and the staff is always welcoming and nice. Please consider checking this place out if you’re looking for great dental service with staff who are fluent in both English and Mandarin!

I had an emergency dental mishap. I was in desperation to find a Dentist to help me adhere my partials back onto my implants. I took a chance with this dentist office and I was really glad they help me out even though I didn’t have an appointment. The staff was really nice and helped out right away. Thank you all for a great service. Disclaimer; I got my implants and partials at another dental office. Garfield Dental Group has nothing to do with my previous dental procedures.

I 100% recommend this dental office! They have been professional and very nice in the process of my daughter having braces. They do great work and they don’t nickel and dime you or try and make you get work you don’t need. And trust me I have had many dentist do that. I am very happy with my two crowns and my daughters out come of braces!

Dental office is probably my most fearful place by all mean and I am probably the girl who screamed the loudest in his office but Dr Kang’s general care and pre-discussion with me had sure helped a lot! His deep knowledge and experiences would let you rest assure that your dental health is definitely in good hands. I have had teeth cleaning, deep cleansing, filling done (and sadly probably root canal soon!) from this office. Though any dental work would probably sound painful to you like it is for me, but if you have to do it either way, Dr Kang would be your #1 choice and I wouldn’t have done it any other way around. In addition to his intensive dental works with kind patience, the staffs from the front office are very friendly and helpful and they would ensure to try their best with scheduling to cater to your needs. Last but not least, let’s not forget that I have had my braces done with Dr kang, so I owe my smile to his entire office here at Garfield Dental Group, thank you!!

I went there first time last week and Dr Liu was so good to have my tooth filling without pain. After a week’s time, I felt as if I didn’t have my tooth filled. Very good! This time is my second time for tooth cleaning. I have confidence in their services and recommend you to go there for dental services.

Garfield dental group, one of the best professional centers in LA county and affordable. I have been treated and cared for in the past quarter century and well into my retirement years. The doctors are experts in their own rights and resolve all my aches and pains and I take this opportunity to thank them. The office operates 7 days and excellent in customer service and follow ups. I would rate Garfield dental group a five star. I have recommended half a dozen new clients and they all indicate satisfactions !

I have been a patient with the GARFIELD Dental Group for almost two decade, and is happy to say both satisfied and grateful for the services. My problems had been plenty, gum, cavity, root canal, bridges and now implants. Dr Johnny Liu had been most amazing, not only professional but also humorous. A quality that helps to calm nervous patient like myself. I like to point out that I appreciate the other doctors, dr Kang, and dr sung took turns to treat my symptoms mentioned above. Perhaps, the best part about this clinic is the courtesy and efficiency of the management. Lana Ng , Office manager and her helpful staff will accommodate the appointment ASAP as well as follows up and medications instructions. I am pleased to write this! This is a follow up comment regarding my IMPLANT that took over a year to complete. Wow, what a big difference the new implant tooth did to my chewing abilities. A friend recommended here and the whole process was superb. I was super afraid of dentistry, but looking at it here almost doesn’t hurt, and I feel completely overcame my previous fear. Doctors are responsible, and the problems that occur in each tooth are clear, and do not cause the patient to be dizzy. And the doctor’s method is very precise, very skilled and well done. There are two front teeth that have been made, and after completion, there is no trace of the filling. It will be here in the future. Going to recommend all kinds of friends to come here, to wash your teeth, fill your teeth, orthodontic, tooth planting without pain dental, so worth having

I have been this clinic for 10 years, and the dentists are skilled. I trust Dr.Kang to take care of my teeth. I removed my wisdom teeth, orthodontics, root canal treatment and implants. My family and friends are also treated by Dr. Kang. I have a problematic teeth. Dr. Kang always help me find a best way to treat my teeth. Thank you Dr. Kang! So if you have problems with your teeth, come to Dr. Kang! PS. If you take the children to see the teeth, remember to find Dr. Li! She is very friendly.

I have been here for years for my teeth cleaning and referred many friends to come here. They are all pretty happy clients here, pricewise or skillwise. The staff here are really nice. Dr. Liu is super friendly and patience. He is good at take your tension away just by chatting with you. We came here for a tooth implant this time and have been consult with other doctors all over the place, even in China. After we compare the plan and the price we decided to do it here. It seems like the highest price on our list , but we chose here because Dr. Liu explained very well what is the best for the teeth and what goes to a long way. And we found out those cheaper ones they do less job that’s why they charge less. The way they suggested to do it sounded not as strong as Dr. Liu proposed. We have a good feeling about this. It is going to be the best. Thank you Dr. for thinking through for the patient and being so knowledgeable and helpful. 🙂

I got the toothache 3 weeks ago, it makes me crazy. My friend recommend this place and make appointment for me. They call me back immediately and when they know I feel painful they just ask me to come as soon as I can even though I did not make the appointment this time. when I got there a beautiful young lady at front desk help me and ask me to fill the basic information myself. And then Dr. Kang helped me. He find out the problems really fast and explain the things in detail. He let me know every step he will do. The best thing I like is he always let you do the decision for yourself. He will explain and recommend the best way for me and let me do the decision to see if I want to do now. I have done the root conal by him and it does not make me feel bad like before. I hate to see dentist before, but this time he makes me feel good. No pain, no uncomfortable thing. Everything looks good now. And I will come back for the root crown after my Invisalign done. I hope I will stay here for the future life… In that way I do not have afraid of dentist~ ^_^

This is review is on behalf of my girlfriend Michelle. Dr. Sung extracted two of her wisdom teeth and said he was a really amazing Doctor. He even called her the next day to check up on her. I think this really going above and beyond for a doctor and he is the sweetest doctor. I would recommend this office and Dr. Sung to anyone. He did her first tooth 2 years ago and her last tooth this past Thursday. The staff at the front was also very friendly. She would go back.

My favorite dentist I have ever dealt with is name Dr. Sung. Had my wisdom teeth pulled out by him and it was done so quick and effortless. I felt no pain during the procedure and am very satisfied with the results. He is older and has done his work for many years. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. The equipment is very up to date. He explains in detail what needs to be done and the camera shows our teeth clearly on the screen. He gave me medication and recommended a place down the street for the after medication. It healed quickly and I am very happy. Thank you!!!

I had the worst toothache a few weeks back. I went to see a dentist around my office, but he couldn’t find anything wrong. I was still in so much pain, so I called my cousin and asked for her dentist’s number. I then called Dr. Kevin Kang’s office to see if there’s an available time slot- there wasn’t any. However, after explaining my situation, the assistant was nice enough to somehow fit me in the afternoon. I showed up and in 2 minutes I was on that scary dental chair. Dr. Kang came in and asked me about my toothache. I explained my situation and he checked my teeth. In 30 seconds he found the problem, and told me that I might need a root canal. He took an x-ray and confirmed that I need a root canal. I didn’t want to wait since my tooth was hurting so much. He told me that he could do the 1st step of the root canal right then and there so that my tooth would stop hurting. To be honest, I have no idea what happened during my root canal. There was a lot of drilling and digging. However, Dr. Kang and the assistants made it as painless/ comfortable as possible. The assistants would constantly help wipe the water that was splashed onto my face. Dr. Kang helped me put Vaseline on 3 times since my lips were dry. He also talked to be while I was on my short rests in between drilling. I went back two more times to finish up my root canal. While root canal itself is a pain, Dr. Kang made the process stress free. I’m going to go back in a week to get my teeth cleaned. I think I found my new general dentist!
