We found Garfinkle Family Dental when our kids had moved on from their pediatric dental office and my wife and I were tired of driving an hour and a half to our westside dentist. We can’t recommend Dr Mindy and Dr Adam highly enough. Their staff are wonderful and the office is modern and efficient. They have handled all our dental needs for the past year and have made visits a friendly, even enjoyable experience. Can you imagine saying you like to go to the dentist? Recently I had a dental emergency over the weekend. Dr. Mindy offered to come to the office on a Sunday to help repair my damaged teeth. The whole office has gone above and beyond expectations to schedule me with the other dental specialists I needed and follow up with me in the evening to see how I was doing. The Garfinkles are a family dental office that treats you like family!

So happy I found my way from Sherman Oaks to Agoura Hills to see Mindy Garfinkle again after she opened her new practice with husband Adam! The drive is more than worth the care, humor, honesty and of course, professionalism!!! Some dentists seem to want to ‘sell’ you that you need this or that done… I never felt pressured by Mindy to do anything that wasn’t necessary. Just love her approach and how my mouth is treated with such respect! If you have kids, I can only imagine how comfortable they will feel under Mindy or Adam’s care. These folks are just the VERY BEST!!! Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

Yesterday I took my three children to Garfinkle Family Dental and was very impressed. From the beautiful renovated office, the friendly office staff and Dr. Mindy herself what a wonderful experience.  The exam and cleaning was quick and painless for my 4 year old and 7 year old twins. Dr. Mindy was such a pleasure and kept my kids entertained throughout the whole process.  My kids even asked when they could go back…such a change from their former dentist.  I would highly recommend Dr. Mindy and Garfinkle Family Dental.

Would give seven stars if I could. By far the best dentist I’ve ever had! The Garfinkle team are expert at what they do. Unlike many dentists I’ve had, they are patient and when explaining the problems with my teeth in friendly layman terms. They are both genuinely friendly and wonderful to speak with. The office is clean and welcoming. Great experience

Let me start off by saying…….Agoura Hills is 1 Lucky City to have the Stupendous team of Dr.Mindy and Dr.Adam Garfinkle to attend to the Dental needs of the Community!!!! My Son and I make the one and a half hour drive to receive all Dental Care with them. My Son and I both have gotten numbing injections prior to seeing Dr.Mindy, and it was a very uncomfortable and painful experience. Now, neither one of us has any reservations or anxiety with getting numbed for completion of Dental work!!! I also Appreciate that they don’t treat me like I have gone to Dental School, and that they explain things in Laymans terms. I always walk out of Garfinkle Family Dental feeling like I had just had a Relaxing Spa Day 🙂 You won’t Go Wrong by becoming a Patient of this Great Dental Team !!!!!

My husband and I are so happy we changed to Garfinkle Family Dental after our dentist retired. We’ve always been happy with our dentists but Dr.Adam and Dr. Mindy are amazing – professional, gentle and PAINLESS. The office and equipment are state of the art. We live in Marina del Rey and don’t think twice about the beautiful drive along the coast.

This is a great dental practice! The staff and dentists are super nice with extensive experience! We changed dentist from another local office that we were unhappy with, I am so happy we did! Dr. Mindy helped me perfect my smile and Dr Adam helped my sons with their dentistry needs. They do great with both adults and kids! I highly recommend them!

I originally heard of Dr Mindy and Dr Adam because a client of mine referred me to their office a while back.  Like most people, I don’t love going to the dentist, so I put off my first visit until I had an emergency.  And it was an absolute EMERGENCY by the time I made an appointment.  I have had a lot on dental work on my front teeth, and one day while eating, my front tooth broke off! Thankfully, it didn’t cause pain. But I work in a high end business and I couldn’t go to work looking like I did! Dr Mindy got me in immediately and made me a temporary, right then a there. No need for me to wait or set up an additional appointment.  Since I travel a lot for work, Dr Adam made me an additional removable temporary that I could take with me, in case I was out of town and had any trouble.  Now that’s what I call customer service!.  I am so grateful to the doctors and I will be referring them to anyone and everyone!  Thank you Garfinkle Family Dental!!!

I went to Garfinkle Family Dental after a friend of mine had referred myself and my children to the office. I am so glad I met Dr Mindy and Dr Garfinkle!!! The office was beautiful, clean, and state-of-the-art. I saw Dr Garfinkle and my three children saw Dr Mindy. Dr Garfinkle was warm, caring, and I felt as though I was seeing a friend, rather than a dentist. He took the time to listen to my concerns and needs, and the fees were more than reasonable for us as a family. My kids also had a wonderful experience! They were talking the whole way home about how much fun they had and they couldn’t wait to go back! Not typical for teenagers visiting the dentist:) This office gets five stars! Thanks Dr Mindy and Dr. Garfinkle!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Adam and Dr. Mindy Garfinkle. We heard about their practice through a family member, and after glowing reviews, decided to give them a try. I was mortified to learn at my visit that I had first cavity (!), but Dr. Adam was incredibly patient when answering all of my questions and walking me through my X-Rays. He calmed all of my fears for the small procedure, and made it virtually painless to boot! I was incredibly impressed with the attentiveness, service, and overall experience with Garfinkle Family Dental. As I have family in the area, I will now be scheduling my dental appointments to coincide with my regular trips to SoCal. Look forward to seeing them again in 6 months!

My son goes to Tutor Time, and Dr Mindy Garfinkle came into his class to show them how to brush thier teeth! He was SO excited to use his new tooth brush, that I made an appointment for myself! I recieved the best care at Garfinkle Family Dental.

Hands down a great family dentist! The office was able to accommodate all 3 boys  getting cleanings in one day!  Dr. Mindy is friendly, warm and excellent at connecting with her patients so they feel comfortable. The office is state of the art, clean, and beautifully decorated. Garfinkle Family Dentistry is a little gem in Agoura Hills. I highly recommend anyone who needs a dentist, or is looking for a change to try Garfinkle Family Dentistry. They really give superior customer service and patient care.

I had a dental emergency while on vacation.  I saw Dr. Mindy at Garfinkle Family Dental and it was different than any dental visit I have ever had, and I have been to many dentists .  I was seen immediately and everything was explained to me in a way I understood.  It was the most relaxing experience I have ever had at a dental office.  There was no pain and I actually enjoyed the visit, I felt as though I was a friend, not a patient.  The office is clean and modern and the staff was great.  They even accepted my out of state insurance.  I am going to get my teeth cleaned on my next vacation

WoW!! Is the way I will begin my review. Dr.Mindy at Garfinkle Family Dental is a Dental Superhero in my book! At my age, lets just say i have been to just a few dozen Dentists over the years. I am extremely scared of injections given during treatment, but Hallelujah i dont have to be anymore!! She truly gives the most painless injections  and her technique is flawless everytime!!!  Dr.Mindy makes you feel like an old friend the minute she introduces herself. The office is relaxing and quiet, and well designed and decorated. Garfinkle Family Dental is definetly a Phenomenal  place to handle all your Dental needs!! In fact, Dr.Mindy is So Great at what she does, that I drive an hour and a half each way to see her!!? And, she’s worth every minute of the long drive 🙂

Due to some crummy experiences with an orthodontist as a kid, I’ve had life-long anxiety around the dentist’s chair and anyone poking around in my mouth. I’ve now had fillings done with both Dr. Mindy & Dr. Adam and I can say they are hands-down the best dentists I’ve ever been to!  Both of them are talented at administering the pain-numbing needle: it was quick, completely painless, and numbed me perfectly. (Which is not always the case – I’ve had horrible numbing, or lack-of-numbing, experiences in the past with another dentist). Both Drs Garfinkle are really outgoing, fun to talk to, and immediately put their patients at ease. Everyone who works there is very friendly. I wish I could give more stars.

Fantastic!! I found them by looking at reviews of dentists on Yelp. Yelp is how I find good business now after dealing with not so good business in the past. They’re really as great as everyone says. My front lower tooth chipped. I didn’t think it could be fixed without re doing my whole tooth and they easily fixed it within minutes without a huge crown. It looks great and you can’t even tell it was ever chipped. They put a crown on my back tooth yesterday and I didn’t even need Novacaine and it didn’t hurt at all. Needless to say, I’m very happy with them!

Garfinkle Family Dental is fantastic and I highly recommend them. The whole staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. They truly care.

This entire office is so professional and unbelievably kind and helpful. I have been driving to childhood dentist in the city and finally gave in because cannot do the traffic and am so happy to have found them and to slowly migrate us all to this office including our baby someday soon. Thank you Peggy for all your help and thank you Dr Adam for being so welcoming and warm. Recommend :))
