I found Dr. O’Brien on the web after reading other reviews. I needed a dentist asap because I had fallen and chipped my front tooth. I have had really bad experiences with the dentists before so I was extremely nervous and anxious. Right away, the staff made me feel welcomed and relaxed. Every member of Dr. O’Brien’s crew is friendly, professional, caring, attentive, and highly skilled. Dr. O’Brien explained options for me and fixed my tooth in such a short amount of time. His work was AMAZING! My tooth looked so good. He really is an artist and his chair side manner is so personable and disarming. I can’t say enough about this office. Truly the best dental care. Also, the office is gorgeous, modern and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. O’Brien and his staff.

I had a bike accident which caused some dental damage that required a specialist. I had heard of Dr. O’Brien and what wonderful work he did but, I had never been to his office. I made an appointment with Sonia to see if he could help me after such an injury. I was scheduled right away. Dr. O’ Brien is a very experienced and world renowned dentist but he is very down to earth and nice. I was very impressed with his care and treatment. He and his staff were very kind and understanding. After explaining the whole procedure to me in simple terms that I could understand; he started the procedure. Stacey, his assistant made me very comfortable through the whole thing. I thought it would be somewhat painful but I didn’t feel a thing thanks to his wonderful anesthesia called conscious sedation. It is amazing how much hi-tech equipment they have at this office but, it made me confident that I was getting excellent care when I needed it the most. Dr. O’Brien replaced my central and lateral incisors with a dental implant. You will not believe how natural they look! Now, I have a beautiful smile and you wouldn’t even notice that I had any injuries or any dental work done for that matter. I decided to keep Dr. O’Brien as my dentist and would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants a beautiful smile along with exceptional care.

I miss Dr. O’Brien and my girls! I think I’ll schedule an appt. today. Who says they miss their dentist? Nobody, unless Dr. O’Brien is their dentist. This man saved me. An idiot dentist (not doc O) left decay under my temp crown and caused an infection so bad I couldn’t feel my face for a month. Seriously. I had to go through extensive root canal work to fix first the infection, then the teeth. He saved me….I’m a pro brass musician and make a living with my mouth! OK, that’s the first good part, here’s more: The staff/assistants. Tammy and Sonia are just beautiful people. I seriously love them. They’re down to earth, always fun, and completely on top of their work, too. Insurance/billing/appointments, all of that is easy. America is also a gem. Someday we’ll get to a soccer game! What a great bunch of people here. Thank you all for making a trip to the dentist fun!

I don’t know where to begin to say that this place is by far the best Dental office I’ve been to. Dr O’Brien is extremely knowledgeable is so so Nice. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time which is hard to find at ANY dental office. The staff was very attentive and so sweet as well. Thank you for such a great experience!

A year ago I was looking for a dentist and a relative recommended Dr. O’Brien. At first, I was a little bit scared and skeptical about Dr. O’Brien because of a previous terrible experience. But, my experience with Dr. O’Brien was really beyond my wildest expectations. Different from my previous dentist, he is warm and patient and really cares about his work and people. In addition, his staff is very attentive and they work with the latest technology which makes my experience relaxed and most importantly: painless. Thank you Dr. O’Brien for making my dental experience pleasant and for being concerned about all of my dental health needs.

Dr. O and his team are the best. Yesterday he did a root canal with a bone graft and filled two cavities. I am pain free today, that is how skilled he is. Can not recommend them enough. The whole office makes you feel like family! Love them all!

There are so many dentist out there that I am very careful and frankly a bit afraid when looking for a dentist; I treasure my teeth and want to keep them:) I read about Dr. O’Brien last year and I am glad that I decided to go to his office recently. On my first visit I was greeted by a very friendly and informative staff. Dr. O’brien was very nice and right away I knew that he was passionate about his work. My front teeth were not as straight as they could be since I incurred a chip during an accident and until now the quick fix was a composite, but the problem with that is that they break or it simply does not match the rest of the teeth. At some point someone even filed my tooth more than the necessary making the chip worse. Dr. O’ brien took his time to listen to me, and instead of suggesting a very expensive and aesthetic solution, he suggested a more conservative approach taking in consideration the way certain changes would affect the way I talk, and that my teeth were really in good shape. I felt relieved that I met a dentist who listened and answered my questions and mainly I appreciated the honesty! Great welcoming modern office. My hygienist was awesome and the lady who took my x-rays was ultra gentle. Latest update: Left Dr. O’brien’s office this morning. My front teeth look amazing, straight and my smile looks natural. The Dr. was prepared and it is obvious that he knows what he is doing and does it flawlessly. Although I know my insurance does not really cover as much as they would had I chosen another dentist, I have no regrets.The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and explained how they dealt with my insurance and they were accomodating. I can only recommend but I dont doubt your experience will be as great as mine. I am very happy that Dr. O’brien is now my dentist.

I wanted to get dental implants but my family dentist is not a specialist in implant dentistry and recommended I go to Dr. Gary O’Brien who is well known as an implant dentist. I went to Dr O’Brien’s practice and he explained to me how implants were made and suggested combining implants with bridges. I was very apprehensive at the beginning but he calmed my anxiety. It was unbelievable! During the surgery I didn’t feel anything because he used conscious sedation.  The implants turned out beautifully and I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Dr. O’Brien’s.

I was looking for a well experienced dentist to do some cosmetic dental work. When I went in for my consultation, I knew almost immediately that Dr. Gary O’Brien was the right dentist for me. He explained all of the procedures he uses to me and showed me before and after pictures of his patients. I really like the results I obtained and the treatment I received from his staff.

I am a French Horn player and I would only trust Dr. O’brien to work on my teeth. Dr O’brien is absolutely fantastic. He is on the cutting edge of dentistry and has the nicest demeanor. Being a former trumpet player himself, Gary O’brien knows how touchy us brass players can be about our mouths. That is why I will always recommend him to my fellow musicians and just about anybody else who needs dental work done. For those of you who complain about the cost think of this. I had to have most of my previous fillings redone by Dr O’brien because the cheaper dentists I had gone to had done shoddy work. It would have been cheaper if I had seen Dr. O’brien in the let first place. Get it done once and get it done right!

There is not a single review that can do Dr. O’Brien any justice.. He is hands down, THE nicest, most caring dentist I have ever met and really went above & beyond for me. I had a dentist destroy my teeth just 10 days before my wedding, and I had no idea where to go and what to do. Dr. O’Brien made me feel so comfortable and the outcome was simply amazing. Do yourself a favor, make an appointment with him (even if its weeks or months before you can get in) because he is WELL worth the wait and the money spent!

Dr O’Brien is this rare exception. I am so lucky that his dentistry is in Los Angeles and that he can preserve his craft he was placed on this earth to do. I would have died in couple of years if I didn’t go to see Dr O’Brien. By accident I found him because my previous dentist never replied to my emails so my friend introduced me to Dr O’Brien. During the 1st visit he immediately diagnosed what was wrong and he told me that he has to do three major operations in my mouth because it was full of infection. Infection releases full of toxins in the body no wonder I was in pain because my body was fighting toxins day by day so he removed all infections and when he showed me all the photos after surgery, I could not believe his amazing work with his experience and his extreme knowledge. Words cannot describe how happy I am with the results of Dr. O’Brien’s wonderful work. All procedures were entirely painless. The quality, naturalness and perfect fit, size and shape of the crowns are truly remarkable. I now have the gorgeous, radiant smile, my mouth is free of infection. I feel more vibrant. Dr. O’Brien has given me much more than a beautiful smile. I feel like I was reborn again he saved my life. I know that he loves his job and he will not rest until he gets the job done. Dr. O’Brien only uses the best material and takes his time until you satisfied with color, shape etc. You can search your whole life through finding a great dentist, this is the place for you. I will make a statue of him. He was placed on this earth to save people ! I urge those people that are considering dentistry to make an appointment with Dr. O’Brien He will always be the only dentist in the world for me and my family. I recommend him highly.
