I recently had a visit with Dr Orback. This office is still so amazing. The staff are very well prepared and so nice! They are extremely clean and Covid safe. Dr Orback took time out of his schedule to make an adjustment to my bite and make sure that everything was just perfect. He always goes the extra mile for his patients. I was referred to Dr. Orbach by a co-worker and it was the best referral I’ve ever received.  I have had many bad experiences with other dentists but Dr. Orbach is not like the others.  He is patient, caring and takes the time to explain what should be done and gives you options.   Dr. Orbach has done two root canals and covered two implants with temporary caps and the tempory caps look excellent.  Dr. Orbach is a perfectionist and will not let you leave until you and the Dr. is completely satisfied with the way your teeth look.  The office is very up to date and has a relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful of view of central park.  I feel very confident in Dr. Orbach and the work he does and I highly recommend him as a great dentist.

TL;DR: Dr. Orbach is one of the best dentists/prosthodontists I’ve been to. Make an appointment here and skip the stress of looking for a new dentist in the city. Full disclosure – I have been going to Dr. Orbach’s office since I was about 10 (or even younger). My mom, brother, and sister all go here and I’ve even gotten a few friends on board. The longer story: I don’t trust any other dentists or hygienists. I’ve stuck with Dr. O through moving to Seattle for law school and now living in DC for the last few years because I’m wary of other dentists. (I maybe saw one dentist while in Seattle but only because I had a weird toothache). I plan my dentist visits to the office while I’m home visiting my family. He’s the only dentist I trust to be really honest with me and not try to push anything that I don’t need. The office is welcoming and up-to-date. Each room has a great view of Central Park and if you’re trying to keep your mind off the fact that you’re even at the dentist there are also TVs and computers that you can use while waiting or while getting dental work done. In keeping up with the latest technology, Dr. Orbach also has an easy set up for getting x-rays – maybe I’m traumatized from my old orthodontist but this seems like a walk in the park with how seamless it all is. I also appreciate being able to see my record on his screen and chat about my dental care plan while seeing what Dr. Orbach is also looking over. The hygienists in the office are fantastic. I saw Fran the other day and had a pleasant experience. I have sensitive teeth and dread cleanings but I think if you have a hygienist that works for you then stick with them! All of the hygienists in the office are friendly and accommodating. It is always great to see everyone in the office. It is a small team so you’ll get to know the staff and Dr. Orbach pretty well. Be kind to the front staff they do a lot to make the office what is and work hard to make patients lives easier! (It also doesn’t hurt to bring them treats now and then!). Just know if you go see Dr. Orbach you’re not just signing up for a new dentist but a life long relationship with folks who care about your health and well being!

Dr. Orbach has been practicing dentistry for over thirty years. A New York native, he is committed to the highest standard of treatment for his patients. His friendly, personable nature combined with his extensive background guarantees you a pleasant, relaxing and most of all stress free visit. Dr.Orbach completed an impressive research paper on bone metabolism, which was published in the International Association of Dental Research. Dr.Orbach then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the most acclaimed dental schools in the country. There he worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Dr.Orbach also attended Columbia University Dental School for a two year program where he specialized in the field of Prosthodontics. Dr.Orbach has years of experience under his belt. He participated in a program dealing with Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York, as well as a program in removable prosthodontics at the Bronx Hospital. He also partook in all facets of general dentistry with emphasis on emergency care, oral surgery and treatment of medically compromised patients at Beth Israel Hospital in New York. Dr.Orbach believes in promoting the education for new dentists. He served as a clinical instructor at Columbia University in the department of Prosthodontics.
