Dr. Van. Just amazing!! Many years ago before Dr. Van, my old dentist began to change. Rather than taking care of my teeth as always, I began to notice I seemed to be needing a lot more dental work than usual. Sharing this experience over the years I learned that much of dentistry was becoming a business of selling rather than just curing. Fast forward to now. I still have yet to have seven fillings done that I had been told were necessary by other dentists literally decades ago! My wife had a similar experience after leaving her old dentist. We have saved thousands of dollars and avoided unnecessary dental work. Dr. Van does great work. He makes going to the dentist as pleasant as can be. The staff is friendly and helpful. He does what your teeth honestly need. Just like my old dentist decades ago before the change.

Awesome staff best dentist I have ever been to .. not to mention how Kid friendly they were !! I’ve had a phobia of the dentist since I was A child and I must say this is the first place I’ve been completely comfortable at and can’t wait to go back! 5 stars is not enough for DR.VAN & his staff they are amazing! I’d refer anyone looking for an HONEST dentist!!

Really if I could give Dr. Van 10 stars I would.  He is the Bomb really very nice and aware of your fears.  I am very stressed when it comes to the dentist and when mine retired I had no idea what to do.  I tried one other one in Santa Clarita no names needed but not impressed at all.  My co-worker suggested Dr. Van and it was history he is the best.  Great Staff very cool and comfortable vibe about the office.  Honestly if they read these reviews I may get a call I am overdue. Check him out if you are looking for a dentist.

If you have found this yelp page in search of a dentist, I would like to congratulate you because you have just won the dentist jackpot! Dr. Van and his staff are AMAZING. I really mean that–AMAZING. Finding a good dentist is like finding a good mechanic–super hard to find someone who will do the job right and is not trying to rip you off. Dr. Van and his staff are incredibly friendly, funny, calming and skilled. I needed a ton of dental work done–I went to another dentist (often has ads on the radio for cosmetic dentistry) and they quoted me a price that was in the range of a new (nice) car. I was so devastated because I wanted to fix my smile but there was no way I was able to afford that. Went to some other dentists as well but all the work they wanted to do was so segmented….it’s like they wanted me to do the expensive things first and weren’t concerned about what may be best for me in the long run and didn’t care/have interest in figuring out how to best utilize my insurance. A coworker of my husband recommended Dr. Van and I cannot express how grateful I am for that referral! First off, Sandy is a master of figuring out how best to use your insurance. She is like an insurance wizard lol…usually I would just get blank stares and told that I needed to figure out what exactly my insurance would cover and we all know how confusing that can be. And the previous quote in the range of a new car from the other dentist??–Dr. Van did the work for literally about 1/15th of the cost. Even when I switched insurance and Dr. Van became out of network for me, I STILL was getting a better deal than with other places. He basically rebuilt my smile and I get compliments all the time on my teeth. He is a perfectionist and cares so much about the happiness of his patients and it truly shows. It means so much to have a dentist that I fully trust and I am so grateful everyday that I don’t have to hide my teeth anymore. There is no way that you won’t be 1000% satisfied with Dr. Van and his team!!

Some family friends recommended Dr. Gary for my father. My dad is 95 and relocated here from out of state. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The important part is the doctor is very good and is doing all he can to save a troubled tooth. I appreciate his conservative approach. If I move this way, I know where I will be going for my dental needs.

Dr. Van Grinsven is an incredible dentist!  Not only is he very knowledgeable, experienced, and invested in giving his patients the best care possible, but he works very hard to also make his patients feel comfortable!  The last place and time I would expect to start laughing is when I am on a dentist’s chair with someone preparing to drill into my teeth…. but Dr. Van Grinsven somehow makes this happen!  He is also invested in doing the least amount of intervention needed, where other dentists might be influenced by the financial benefits of doing more.  He explains everything he recommends, and lays out all of the options.  He clearly enjoys his work.  His office staff is equally warm and friendly. Dr. Van and his staff truly make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Dr Van is the best dentist ever. I have been going to him for several years now. He is honest and reasonably priced. I moved from California to Eagle, ID. and I still go to him. I travel back and forth and I make sure I make an appointment with him when I am in town. His staff is great and I always look forward to seeing them. I highly recommend him, I cannot say enough good things about him.

Highest rating. Small and friendly office. Dr. Van’s humor and gentle manner will put you at ease. Honest, ethical and knowledgeable. No pressure to obtain unnecessary treatment. Patients walk out smiling after their visit. Your teeth will never feel cleaner after Crystal works her magic. You’ll find it difficult to dread your next dental appointment after visiting Dr. Van.

I have had such a difficult time finding a good dentist and this is where I have happily landed. Dr. Gary is fantastic – kind, great sense of humor and very sensitive to both the physical comfort of his patients and their financial comfort. There was no pressure to have superfluous procedures that I couldn’t afford and his hygienist was so gentle with me. The entire staff is just wonderful – so helpful, great communicators and really made me feel at ease. Do yourself a favor and get a cavity so that you can go here!

There are no words to express how amazing Dr.van and his wife Sandy are .. let’s start with me I had a bad abscess tooth it was Thursday and dr.van was on vacation I was given a 24 hour emergency number so I called ..i couldn’t believe he answered on his vacation and called in antibiotics..i was in so much pain with a 3 year old to take care of i have never experienced something so debilatating as an abscess tooth .. Dr.van took care of me on his time off and I couldn’t be more grateful .. they are the best dental office I have ever been too I give 10 stars !!!

Words cannot describe this man’s abilities and big heart. BEST dentist I’ve ever been to. LONG story short,  I needed a tooth removed. Cracked crown, infected etc… I live in Georgia!!! Drove across the country to pick up my wife with this pain. At 1 am, Doctor Van woke up after a long day and didn’t say ANYTHING except “Let’s get that pain out of you!”  Then to leave at almost 330 in the morning to be at work at 7. How many people, let alone doctors would do that. I have many friends and people in the SCV and will DEFINITELY be recommending to everyone.  Thank you Dr. VAN, for everything.

The best dentist ever. Honest. Reliable. Caring. Considerate. He will not and has never tried to get more money by a false or inaccurate diagnosis. His work is superb. He is friendly and has a great sense of humor. He’s been my dentist for over 7 years and I will never look for another. His practice my gold standard.

No laughing gas required. The Van Grinsvens and staff are the one stop for your whole family’s dental needs that will have you laughing instead of crying. I have experienced Dr. Van’s professionalism many times over the years, and he never disappoints. He puts his patients at ease with his wit and charm, and a check up or even a filling seems to be over in a heartbeat. I have been to other dentists that pushed to sell whitening or some other unnecessary services, but Dr. Van doesn’t push anything that isn’t needed and will always let you know your options without any personal agenda other than earning another life-long customer. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Van and his staff for customers of all ages. I have been a fly on the wall as he put children, teens, and adults at ease and helped take care of their teeth while never losing his bedside manner. He has also been very accomodating for my wife and me with emergency dental help. I’m glad that I let Dr. Van Grinsven take care of my grin….You will be glad if you do, too.

Dr Van has been our family dentist for many years. The care and expertise we have received during that time had changed me into to someone who doesn’t dread the dentist’s office. It is a family run office with long time, loyal staff who care about every aspect of care. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Van and his staff have provided a great experience with all members of my family.  He explains all that he needs to do without feeling pressured. Easy to work with when having to change up appointments. He did very well making my son feel comfortable while his anxiety kicked in. So happy we found a dentist that my kids don’t resist going to.
