I rarely use Yelp, not a social media kind of person. BUT I had to dig up my old yelp account and leave a review for Dr. Baghdasarian because these days it’s just so hard to find an honest mechanic, doctor, contractor, etc. I have a great mechanic, and thankfully, I can say I now have a great doctor/dentist I can go to without worrying about being taken for a ride. You really have to due your research and I’m so glad I found this place! Had a really bad toothache and I knew exactly what the problem was, it was a tooth that had been feeling sensitive for a long time and I just kept ignoring it because no offense to Dr. B, I don’t like dental clinics! But finally tooth blew up on me and felt like an icepick was being jabbed into my face, looked for 3 days to find a place that at least seemed legit. Read all the reviews, literally every single review I read for this place and all of them had one thing in common, they didn’t feel like they were ripped off and the doc was honest, BINGO! Called and spoke with a young lady name “Rosie”, she was a total sweetheart and was able to get a reasonable appointment. Day of appointment, got my X-rays done and met the doc, let me say, VERY CHILL GUY, really appreciated that. He took one look at my swollen face and said “wow, you have a pretty bad infection”, he found the culprit tooth without me saying a word and explained all my options. Long story short, tooth had bad chance of survival so I decided to take it out and now in the process of getting it replaced with an implant. He also put me on antibiotics and CALLED ME that same night to see how I was doing, who doest that these days?!?! Also, just as a side note, the guy has DEFT hands, I mean after being numbed, he removed the tooth and I DID NOT FEEL A DAMN THING! All I gotta say is THANK YOU DR. B! Thank you for being a good doc, thank you for understanding patient struggles, and thank you for just being a cool dude!

I found Genesis Dental through yelp last year. I decided to give them a try due to their stellar reviews and the accessibility of their location. They have their own parking lot which makes visiting so easy. I do not regret my decision to choose this dental clinic! Dr. Bahgdasarian is very gentle, knowledgeable, and takes time to really talk to his patients. He makes sure that you are well informed of the procedures, and understand what is needed on your part. All of his staff are very professional and helpful. Maria gives all patients great customer service. Genesis, dental hygienist, is also very awesome! She makes sure that I know which areas needed more flossing to reduce buildup. When I first visited, I had quite a lot of dental work that needed to be done, including wisdom teeth extractions and clear correct ( or invisalign). The oral surgeon in this location is also very gentle and patient! I am terrified of extractions and he made sure that I was comfortable during the procedure. Additionally, whenever I have issues on my clear correct (or Invisalign), Maria and Dr. B always tries to squeeze me into the schedule. This is another additional bonus! Some aligners are hard to put on by myself.

First thing I noticed when I came in for my appointment at Genesis Dental Esthetics is how clean the office was! The staff are also really polite and kind, especially Maria in the front. Love this place!!! I took my 5 year old to Genesis Dental Esthetics for fillings. The office is very clean, staff is great, very professional and very easy to get appointments. Dr Baghdasarian is AMAZING he made my daughter feel very comfortable on the dental chair. As someone who literally hasn’t been to the dentist in years out of fear due to past dental nightmares, I can honestly say I had a great first experience with Dr. Ted and his staff. I had to have a problematic tooth extracted last week, and did not feel any pain during the extraction. I thought for sure after the numbness went away my jaw was going to hurt, but it did not….at all. I was just amazed! I was nervous also, and though there was nothing that could be done about that as it was my first visit, I won’t be nervous AT ALL for my future visits. A huge weight has lifted off my shoulders, now that I know I’m in good, caring hands. I’m referring everyone I know to Genesis Dental Esthetics.

Small unassuming little clinic, but staff and doctor were great. I made my appointment with them after hearing about the doctor here via word of mouth from one of their patients that is a relative of mine. Small but super clean waiting room, very cute decor! Front desk was very polite and courteous, I was called right on time and a few minutes later the doctor walked in to see me. Very casual demeanor, not condescending or trying to talk over my head, told him about some small concerns I had and I had X-rays taken and after he did his check up he said I just had one cavity and needed a basic cleaning. I had been told about 8 months ago by another clinic that I needed crowns due to “cracks” in my teeth and when he saw the teeth I pointed to he was a bit perplexed as to why I was told those teeth needed crowns. He said they looked perfectly normal and didn’t see any problems in the X-rays or visually. I was so relieved, I then got my cleaning finished and my cavity done and I was off! Very nice man, a real doctor’s doctor, thank you Genesis Dental Esthetics, you have a new regular patient on your hands.

It’s extremely rare these days to have such a committed, dedicated, compassionate Dentist who is very passionate about what he does and explains every step of the way. I was having CRAZY pain in my lower left tooth. Can’t say I’m surprised though, this tooth had been a problem for nearly a year. I ignored the hole in the tooth until recently it started throbbing like an ice pick had been jabbed in there. Went to a couple places and was told tooth has to be removed which left me shocked, I did not want to lose the tooth! Friend recommended this place, went in to get it checked, thankful that I did. Great doctor, very honest and great personality took a look and said it could be saved with a root canal, ended up getting a cap as well with very little discomfort, woot, keeping my tooth! Ty! I highly recommend this place. It’s very clean and very professional Environment . You won’t be sorry love this place. Dr Ted is the best .

This place has a great staff and a superb doctor. Was referred here by a friend for clear aligner orthodontics, for my crooked lower front teeth. My friend was very happy with her own results. The doctor explained everything in detail and he is genuinely a great listener, he definitely seemed to know his stuff. Will be starting my treatment in 2 weeks, yay! Dr. Ted is SUPER awesome! Me and my husband just feel so lucky and so grateful for finding this office! They’ve shown me how to treat one another with kindness and compassion. I had my four cavities filling done by Dr. Ted, he is REALLY good at what he’s doing. You can tell how confident he is as a dentist. The whole process I didn’t feel any pain or any discomforts. Even after my initial filing, my right side still feels a little sensitive, so I revisited the office again, and Dr. Ted did a biting test and fixed my filling in less than 5 minutes. On top of that, during my each visit. Dr. Ted is SUPER patient and kind to explain all the questions or concerns that we had in mind. I also want to especially thank Maria for being so sweet and so helpful throughout the process! Thank you so much for helping me book the appointment promptly and recommending an AWESOME toothbrush! I love it so much! Thank you for all your help during the filling process, and calmed me when I get nervous. Thanks for reminding me to close my eyes while doing the X-ray, I appreciate you! I also want to mention that they ALWAYS explain all the treatment details including each itemized payment on the list. Getting my grandfather to medical appointments is often rather stressful, since he is mostly wheelchair bound. But Genesis, which I only recently learned of, makes things easier, so it is actually pleasant going to the dentist! Our first appointment was for an urgent matter and they were able to fit us in quickly which was appreciated. (That has not always been our experience with other places). Before I got off the phone I asked if they could accommodate my grandfather, due to his wheelchair, and was told yes. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was a small ramp 🙂 What a lovely sight! After greeting those at the desk, I commented on it, and they said they had placed it there for my grandfather, which meant so very much to me and the others. The waiting room is kind of small, but we were the only ones there and they helped us position the chair while we filled out the first time patient forms, etc. It is a pleasant area with offerings of bottled water and organic gummy snacks. They also have a few candles, which thankfully I have not found to be overpowering, despite my sensitivity to smell. I didn’t notice it the first time, but today they had nice music playing in the background (Michael Buble, off of Pandora). All of those factors and a few more have helped settle my nerves. One of the worst parts of dealing with appointments is when he can’t stay in the chair. Transferring him can be scary and tricky, but Maria (the young lady at the front desk who I spoke to over the phone) and a few more of the staff there, whose names I did not catch, got to work gently but very competently helping out my grandfather on to their chair, and later, back in his. This has now taken place a total of 4 times over 2 visits. It means so very much to me and they do not make us feel like burdens for it. Dr. Ted has been kind and patient in dealing with my grandfather. Finding ways to take impressions for future dentures even though my grandfather’s condition makes it trickier. One more positive point I will mention, is that when we had to cancel his prior appointment, just a few hours before, they handled it with compassion, rather than an unkind attitude. I highly recommend Dr. Ted and staff who have made me less nervous about going for a check up for myself in the future.

Doctor and staff are all very nice and helpful. I came in with my spouse shortly after receiving our insurance. Although we chose HMO, I believe Genesis Dental Esthetics is one of the few offices that allows other coverage as well. I arrived at Genesis Dental Esthetics with a serious issue with my oral health. Due to genetic underdevelopment of my mid face, I lost many of my teeth at a very young age and as a young adult, I starting becoming very self conscious about my smile and my face in general due to my teeth and facial development issues. I went to many doctors and each one quoted me astronomical amounts of money which was way beyond my reach. I found Dr. Baghdasarian and his staff and decided to try one last time and see if he could help me. To my surprise, Dr. Baghdasarian was able to offer me dental implant therapy combined with prosthetics in order to correct my smile and restore all my missing teeth. Given the amount of treatment, his fees were very reasonable compared to what I had been quoted before. He also showed me that I did not need as much treatment as previously presented to me by other doctors. I just finished my treatment plan with him after more than a year of surgeries, crowns, and prosthetic work and I’m very happy with my results. He and his staff did a great job and I can smile again in pictures and have regained my confidence. Thank you so much Dr. Baghdasarian, Maria, Kristine, and the rest of the staff!

I recently got 2 of my teeth capped with two porcelain crowns and I’m so glad I came in to see Dr. Baghdasarian for a second opinion. I broke both my front teeth after accidental fainting while waiting in line during recent heat waves. Another doctor said the teeth could not be saved, but after my second opinion at Genesis Dental Esthetics, Dr. B mentioned not only could my front teeth be restored again but he also replaced a missing molar with a dental implant. His assistant Maria is a total sweetheart and everything was explained to me in detail by both the doctor and staff. He actually complimented my gum health which was encouraging because I work hard to take good care of my teeth and gums. My mom always said take care of your teeth and they will take care of you. One of the things I appreciated most is that he was honest and did not try to sell me on a bunch of unneeded procedures. I didn’t tell Dr. Baghdasarian, but I checked out another dentist for a 2nd opinion and that dentist wanted me to finance 2000.00 in questionable procedures. We recently got new dental insurance and they randomly assigned us to this dental office. I looked it up here and Yelp and since the reviews were good, I decided stick with them. Good choice! This place is great. Dr. Baghdasarian is the real deal. Confident, competent, kind, and what I appreciate most: a great communicator. My mouth is better off having been under his care. Even better, he was fantastic with my kids, ages 9 and 11. Both had cavities, but he did his best to avoid any sort of anesthesia. They were both very pleased compared to our last dentist. Also appreciated Maria — so kind and so mindful. She’s great. I also appreciate that all of them were upfront about costs and did not pressure me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable paying for. Overall, I would recommend this place to anybody.

Dr. Ted is one of, if not the best dentist I have been to. I have been busy these last few years and needed to get a deep cleaning. I called the office, and they got me in right away for an appointment. During my exam, he did a deep cleaning and took care of 2 cavities that he found during my exam. It was a great help to not have to come back for another visit to get the cavities filled. I also mentioned that my jaw had been hurting because I grind my teeth at night. He mentioned that I could have Botox put into the major jaw muscle and the temperalis muscle to help take away the extreme pain that I was having. It would wake me up at night. I have gone through numerous mouth guards and continue to still grind my teeth. Dr Ted will be making me a permanent mouth guard and along with the Botox it will take away my grinding. It has been one week since I had my injections and I can already feel a huge difference even though it won’t take the full affect for 2 weeks. I have been through a fair share of dentists and they have never mentioned having Botox injections in my muscles to help relieve the pain and to reduce my teeth grinding. I’m really thankful that I was able to find Dr Ted…because I now have finally found relief from the pain of grinding my teeth.

I recently discovered Dr. Baghdasarian and have no doubt that I won’t be going elsewhere! Many other places were closed due to covid-19 and had no compassion to schedule appointments for patients (although they are required to treat patients who were in pain). I finally found Dr. B and Maria who I now see as my tooth angels. I haven’t had the best experience with dentists in the past so I appreciated how informative, kind, and professional they were. During my first visit, we discussed the options for my tooth and determined that a dental implant was the best option for me. This sounded really scary at first but Dr. B and Maria really eased my mind about the whole process. I had unfortunately lost my job due to covid-19 layoffs so I really appreciated having the option for a payment plan. On my second visit I got a call from my previous workplace offering me a job and I thought this dental office must be my lucky place. Everyone there is always full of positive energy and they were really happy for me! To wrap up my implant experience, it really isn’t as scary as I thought. I just finished the first part of my operation and it was seamless. The work they do isn’t easy but they make it look like second nature. I also feel comfortable enough to express any tooth concerns and Dr. B is always happy to help. I’ve never had an experience that was this efficient and well done. The fact that they are so caring of their patients is also a huge plus. I would recommend Dr. B and his staff to anyone who is in need of dental work; they’re truly amazing!

Few months ago I was hit by a car and landed on my head, resulting with a fractured head, nose and 3 missing teeth etc, etc. Although my dentist was near by I went to Dr. Baghdesarian because he was highly recommended by my attorney and I am very grateful to have gone to Dr. B. The following are a few reasons I would recommend Genesis Dental to anyone in need of Dental work. Having past experience with personal injury, most doctors would have fixed the 3 missing teeth and had me on my way, but after he was done, Dr. Baghdesarian took xrays of my other teeth and found 2 teeth that had trauma within and would be a problem much later, he then promptly argued on my behalf for coverage for additional work. Every appointment I’ve had, I was always warmly greeted and never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes. Although the accident was a traumatic experience to say the least, I am glad it led me to Dr. Baghdesarian and everyone at Genesis Dental. I rarely post reviews but this one is well deserved. If you want the best, I would tell you to go to Genesis Dental Esthetics. Incredibly up-to-date facility and one that I would travel hours for. Dr. Baghdasarian is a perfectionist and delivers top of the line work. I sincerely believes he cares as much about your teeth as you do. As a military veteran that sometimes didn’t get the best service from the VA I can assure you he takes the time….. you will not be herded out like cattle. Dr. B is a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is passionate about providing the highest standard of care for the patients he treats and has extensive experience in all aspects of Dentistry and Dental Medicine! After graduating, Dr. B was one of only a handful of doctors to also gain licensure the same year he completed his training at UCLA Health System. He also has extensive experience in Oral Surgery and places over 800 dental implants each year and is considered an expert in dental implant surgery.
