It’s been exactly one week since I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out! I can’t thank gentle care dental enough for taking such good care of me! Their whole entire staff as soon as soon as I set foot in the door were so atentative, loving, and kind. Hence the name “gentle care” I really did feel that they lived up to the name! My initial referral to an oral surgeon’s office was a nightmare. It was Dr. Cedeno in DTLA somewhere. The office was like being in the twilight zone. It was modern, high-tech, with no soul. No holiday decor, the oral surgeon just seemed almost robotic to me, lacking emotional sensitivity, the staff also seemed pretty poker faced also. Weird. God to give please give me a sign. I told them to give me an invoice to how much it would cost. They printed out an invoice for $2,600 for two teeth, and then $3,800 for four teeth!! I laughed out loud like are you serious??? Like I’m sure the situation happens often. How do people afford this? The staff wasn’t very reactive even to my response. I’m sure they would have been happy to put you to sleep and take out all my teeth for almost 4k. The sign to RUN! They raped me for a $110 bill for consultation, and about $268 for a cat-scan to tell me the same problem that I already knew I had from the first dentist. Googled literally ” best affordable oral surgeon nearby”. Gentle Care Dental 5 stars, clicked on the link to their website! I remember there was a candid pic of a dentist he place in a pond suit in a pond lol exploring nature! Super cheesy and happy and excited haha! I already got good feels from the website. There was a good list of Dental specialists, from an orthodontist, to periodontist, and finally at the last what I needed! an an oral surgeon! Perfect! So happens that the oral surgeon only comes twice a month and in tomorrow! It was meant to be! Booked an appt! Walked in! Holiday cheer! Professional staff! Totally opposite on my experience at the other oral surgeons office. This place was warm and inviting! A place for families to come if they need dental work. I got to meet the oral surgeon he was an Asian man I forgot his name, you could tell that he was very experienced in what he does. someone said that he was one of the best oral surgeons and has been doing it for 25 plus years. I believe it. He explained everything to me down to the minute details of what I needed done. He didn’t even charge me for x-rays because I spent so much at the other office. The consultation was only $50 and they really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Answered all my question. At this point I nervous about how much would it cost to get what I needed done, and hoping it would fit into my budget for the holidays. It was only $1400!! Wowww! Compared to the other oral surgeon I went to trying to charge me $3800 whoa! they would have been happy to pull out all my teeth and put me to sleep. I got the procedure done the same day with local anesthetic! and the process of his very smooth and they made me as comfortable as possible throughout the whole surgery! The oral surgeon was a pro! And very caring! amazing! His assistants were all nice and very kind, snd professional. It was cold and they even gave me a blanket. I also got to pay the $1,400 over 12 months! So I was taken care of!! And I am beyond thankful! This place definitely exceeded my expectations! It’s been one week! And I’ve been healing extremely fast and I’ve been eating normal the past 3 days! Follow-up is tomorrow! I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for dentistry bacon call home! Or if you’re trying to find an oral surgeon! The prices are affordable out of pocket! And they will work with you if you do not have insurance. Thank Goodness! I’ve had different dentists since I was a child. And I’ve outgrown a lot of them. It’s really been hard to find a dentistry I really like. I’ve just kind of been settling. Going forward I’m definitely getting all my cleanings at this dentistry in 2020! I’ve already referred some of my friends and family to them! Hopefully they will book an appointment soon!
