Gentle Family Dental Care is AWESOME, I have never had a bad experience with them, it’s like they are magic, I have always had bad experiences with dentists all my life even just getting my teeth cleaned hurt so needless to say I stayed away from dentists as much as possible but I chipped one of my bottom front teeth and needed emergency care  and the only place I could get into at the time was Gentle Family Dental Care and I am so thankful that I did, I was amazed because they didn’t give me a shot of anything or sprayed anything he just talked to me and started drilling away the bad part and filled the tooth, I kept waiting to feel the pain but I didn’t feel any kind of discomfort, that’s been over 10 years ago and I am still going there, I refuse to go anywhere else because they are that good.   Debbra Hunt

I have thee worst fear of dentists! I went in with a severely abscessed tooth. It looked like a baseball in my cheek and hurt really bad. Not only did they get me in immediately, but to my surprise everyone in the office was very compassionate and empathetic! They listened to my concerns and Dr Shaver and staff went above and beyond to help! I had a tooth pulled and needed a crown. All I can say is wow!! Hands down the best dental office in Columbus! I am so grateful and thankful for everone here. This is definitely my new dental family for life! Highly recommend Gentle Family Dental to everyone!

Gentle family dentistry is an amazing dental office they helped me deal with my fear of the dentist and still help me every visit! Melissa is the best hygienist there is in this city without her I’m sure I would have lost all my teeth by now. what can I say doctor Aust is an amazing human being and a fabulous dentist I can’t say enough wonderful things about this entire practice. you don’t mind going to the dentist, you actually even look forward to it and I never thought I would say that in life definitely give this practice a chance To perform magic on your teeth like to have on mine and to show you what it’s like to go to the dentist In a perfect world because their world makes things perfect!!!

I am doing another review of Dr. Aust and Dr. Shaver and the staff at Gentle Family Dental Care. I had a dental emergency and I showed up 7am no appointment and they got me right in and addressed my issue and had me to work on time. I wish every doctors office staff was as wonderful! I have been a patient of Dr. Aust since 1992. I was always afraid of a dentist, but with Dr. Aust and his staff I actually love going in for my cleaning! Even after I have other work done I get a call in the evening to make sure that I am fine. I highly recommend the office to anyone! 

The best dentist office!! Been a patient as well as my family for years. The staff is excellent! The doctor’s are personable and professional. My treatment is top notch.. Always!. The services I have received have been well done. Routine cleanings and minor dental work. A plus are early morning appointments. I highly recommend Gentle Family Dental Care.

I’m not the patient, my Mom is, but based on how she feels, I have to say Gentle Family Dental Care does a wonderful job caring for Mom’s oral health. Sort of like when you find that auto mechanic that does a great job, is affordable (especially when compared to the competition), and makes you feel comfortable they are doing what is necessary, but not including any $$$ extras.

I haven’t been to dentist is 25 years due to anxiety and bad experiences. After going to this facility…they have restored my faith in going to dentist in future. Staff was super friendly, they explained everything in detail, and most importantly I felt ZERO PAIN during and after procedure. Highly recommend if you have any anxiety about dentists.

I have been going to Gentle Family Dental Care for over 25 years. They treat you like family, remember your name, and are very friendly. I picked this dentist for 2 reason – 1) close to home and 2) the first word in the practice name is FRIENDLY. They take care to make sure you are comfortable and not scared. I would continue to go to this practice even if I moved an hour away.

Everyone at Gentle Family Dental Care was very helpful and friendly. My husband has limited mobility and I was especially thankful that he was seated quickly, given a cushion and blanket, and we were helped through the doors as the outside office doors on Mound Street do not have handicapped entrance. I felt very well taken care of during my recent crown work. I was allowed to rest comfortably after brief light headedness and experienced really minimal pain after the procedure

I haven’t been to a dentist for over 10 years until I came to The Gentle Dentist. I was paranoid and scared of coming to a dentist. Not only did the Gentle dentist extend understanding to me but they also extended their kindness too. I had to get some cavities filled and a tooth extraction and it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had…they were gentle, professional, kind and did an amazing job on my teeth. I would recommend this practice to anyone, especially those that have a high fear of dental work. The staff was friendly, kind, understanding and made you feel right at home and safe.

I’ve had two visits at this office and I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is! I had the same hygienist both times and it was like we picked up our conversation where we had left off the previous time. I had different doctors for my visits but both were very relaxed and easy to talk to. The Care Plus option that is offered is the best deal I found for someone without dental insurance! $250 for two cleanings and exams plus 20% off any additional dental work is unbeatable! Highly recommend!

My daughter has been going to this office for 11 years; they’ve always been gentle, kind, encouraging and supportive and they never EVER forget her face between visits. They understand the child’s psyche and can help parents understand, too, so that this visit is one that the child looks forward to, like my 15 year old does!! Yesterday, I went in for myself; i’d broken a tooth and needed help. They got me in immediately. They were kind, gentle and understanding of the bad dental experiences that I’ve had. They explained everything they were doing, answered any questions, and worked to not only keep me pain free but also fear and anxiety free!! Additionally, the medicines they gave me for home ensured that I was ready to go back to work in just an hour or two. I had a root canal and temporary crown, and it was one of my best dental experiences. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I have been going here for years with Dr. Shaver. We love it. My last visit I had a cleaning with Kelly and fillings with Amanda and the new Dr. Meers. Desiree handled my insurance and checkout. All of these ladies and the Dentist were amazing. They were positive, concerned and very personable. As always, thank you Gentle Family Dental

It was my first time on the 12-06-19, recommended by my boss as they accept my insurces. From the outside it does not look fancy or anything like that. But when you walk in it’s super nice and clean and the paint in the room has a very cheering up kinda feeling. But if that does not help with you having a bad day? Then talking with the people there will! They are super friendly and nice. While I was getting my teeth cleaned the lady was very friendly and has a wonderful character. Didn’t make it awkward at all and I felt like I was welcomed back at any time. This is awesome because I hate having to talk to people but they made it so easy. Aslo everyone is cute and even the dentist who looked at my teeth and im not even gay. Great places all jokes aside

The people in this office are literally angels! I went into this office as an emergency, they extracted 3 teeth, took care of me after I got dry socket and saw me numerous times afterwards, with no charge, to see the cause of my pain. I ended up having an AVM, which was very serious and I’m getting care at OSU for, but had it not been for this office recommending me to see a neurologist, it may have not been diagnosed. I’m so thankful for all of them and will highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

I just got back from getting my Root Canal along with three fillings done. Wow! Gentle Family Dental on Mound Rd in Columbus, Ohio, what a great JOB!!!! I did not feel a thing!!!! My replacements look so much better!!!!! I will never “CHEAT” on you again!!!!!

They inform you of everything. I have never experienced such professionalism or have been told so much about my teeth. I have never had such a warm experience with denial care as I did with Gentle Family Dental Care. They could see I had some anxiety and offered solutions to help with my next visit and dental work coming up. I will recommend this dentist to everyone.
