HE IS THE BEST DENTIST IVE EVER BEEN TO! State of the art facility.  Had my temporary bridge put in right after my procedure was completed.  I’ve also had my teeth bleached and they came out super white. I dont have a PPO but I will pay cash for his quality of work! Been going to him for 11 years. Crowns, bridge, and many more procedures all necessary and done to perfection!

After many years of continued dental treatment, I am still just as satisfied now as I was from my first visit. The office is so beautiful and state of the art. I will never get tired of the variety of movies or the ability to pick my favorite show from Netflix as I am receiving treatment. The staff is always super friendly from the time I walk in, till the time I’m making my next appointment and leaving. Dr. Garger is an amazing dentist. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years. He always listens to what I need and any worries I may have and he’s always taken excellent care of me. I have had a few unique issues in the past and Dr. Garger has always gone the extra mile to make sure things were the way I wanted them and taken care of the right way. If you’re lucky enough to have this doctor as your dentist, you’ll notice that he truly cares about his patients and his work. I really appreciate that he is always interested in the newest technology and the best practices to do his job. I would highly recommend Dr. Garger to anyone looking for a really good dentist.

I am like most people,I hate going to the dentist! When half my molar fell out I knew I had to see someone. I waited weeks because I was afraid of the pain I knew I was going to have to endure. I met Dr Garger at my job.He is a very happy friendly kind of person that made me like him right away.When I found out he was a dentist,I asked for a business card. He didn’t have any on him ,but said he would be right back. He came back a little later and gave me a card. I called the next day and they were going to get me in that day. I asked if I could come in the next day and they fit me in. I was relieved, because my tooth was starting to hurt alot. When I got to his office he saw me right away. He was so gentle and funny too. After my exam he asked how long it had been since I saw a dentist? It had been awhile. Seems I needed aroot canal and extraction. I had to come back that afternoon. I had alot of work done and he was able to save the tooth he thought he had to remove. That made me happy. I’m going back for my crowns soon and I’m am not afraid anymore. Dr Garger and his amazing staff gave me the best experience I have ever had at a dentist!

After a long period of dentist avoidance and worsening problems I finally had to deal with the pain and swelling. I wanted to see a real modernized dentist with an outstanding reputation. Dr. Garger and his staff sure did provide that. His office was stellar and I immediately felt comfortable. I needed a lot: 1) an extraction of an abscessed tooth, a filling redo, and full x-rays and exam. I honestly did not feel a thing, during the anesthesia injection, the drilling, and the ‘pulling’. I immediately felt relief both physically and mentally. The entire staff made me feel at home! Dr. Garger offers affordable prices, insurance assistance, and a 12 month interest free credit line. Oh, did I mention the doctor’s great sense of humor? That is very pleasant too.

Awesome Dentist! I was a certified dental wimp before seeing Dr. Garger and I avoided going to the dentist after I was hurt at one of those group HMO offices by one of those fresh out of school dentists. My co-worker recommended Dr. G as the most gentle dentist that he ever went to, and that was I needed to hear… When I came into his office for the first time, I was struck by how beautiful the office was and how they had this coffee, tea and water available to people in the reception area. Since I was hurting, the girls at the front brought be directly in to see Dr. Garger to get out of pain before I had to fill out the forms! He did some tests and took an x-ray to be sure which tooth was hurting me and after taking my blood pressure, they numbed me FIRST to get me comfortable before having me fill out forms! And the shot didn’t hurt! He had some vibration thing on the syringe that took the sting out! By the time that I filled out the papers, I was hardly hurting at all and They took me back to discuss whether or not I would want to save the tooth. I said that I did, but I still had the crummy HMO insurance and wanted to switch over to a PPO that could allow me to choose my dentist… I was willing to pay cash for today to get out of pain, then come back when I had a better plan. Dr. Garger did a partial root canal that relieved the pain in the tooth and put a large filling in the tooth so that I could come back and have him finish the job once the good insurance kicked in. He did a great job doing the root canal when I returned, and I don’t remember any discomfort since I was given some pills that made me relax as I watched a Netflix show while he worked. He as been taking care of me and my family ever since, and I don’t need the pills anymore! Thanks, Dr. G!

I had been blessed with health all my life but unfortunately, my dental health was everything but healthy.  As a result, ever since I was a little girl, I frequented dental offices more than I could count. Based on my previous experiences, I dreaded the root canal procedure more than anything else in the world. When Dr. Garger told me that I needed to get two root canals done, I almost broke down in tears. However, today I am so happy to state that Dr. Garger was so GENTLE and proficient with the root canal procedure that in one sitting, without hardly any pain or discomfort, I was done and good to go.  Wow… he certainly changed my paradigm of dentistry.  That was twelve years ago and I am keeping Dr. Garger as my exclusive dentist.   He is the BEST dentist I have ever had!

The office was gorgeous, sith a view of the Kern River, the staff was friendly and knowlegable, the Doctor was friendly, funny and honest, the shots he gave were painless, there was practically no wait, and the insurance estimate was right on…what more could you ask for? Ok, so it wasn’t free, but I checked around the the fees at this office were pretty average for Bakersfield.

I always have the best experience at Dr. Garger’s office. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the level of excellence by Dr. Garger is unsurpassable in aesthetics and comfort! I especially loved that after my treatment was done, he offered to give me an injection which reversed the anesthesia! I was able to move my lips and feel my face within 15 minutes!! (I told my friends about that, and they said that their dentists say there is no antidote ‘you just have to wait it out’ … I told my friends that they need another dentist!!) As a healthcare professional, I applaud Dr. Garger for keeping up with best practices and knowing the current advancements for better patient care and satisfaction! Well done!

Dr. Garger’s office is amazing! The staff is ever so kind and you feel welcomed from the minute you walk in the door (seriously fabulous). They are understanding and helpful with patients fears and concerns (gentle dentistry). The equipment is clean and updated. They have flexible hours and the waiting area is nice with TV, coffee and water to serve yourself or for your family member that goes with. Hands down one of the best in town!
