Visiting Gentry Dentistry a year ago has been the best dental experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been coming ever since. This is coming from someone who has a plethora of dental problems, ranging from swollen gums to broken crowns and a bunch of nasty other stuff. As someone who’s always had a big fear of dentists, you can imagine how hard it is for me to care about my oral health. It’s hard to listen to the drill and taking care of your teeth requires everyday effort. Overall, I must say that having Dr. Gentry as my dentist makes me want to care more about my oral health, and it has given me the motivation to face it head-on. At Gentry Dentistry, they use top of the line technology and are always exceptionally careful with your diagnostics – they don’t try to pressure you on making a sporadic decision, but rather give you the flexibility and time to understand what is going on. This also applies for people worried about insurance and costs – everything is transparent and honest, which is the way it should be. Thank you so much Gentry Dentistry! I chose this office because I wanted a practice close to my job. It is, quite literally, a few doors down from my office. I’m glad I did because it has been a nice experience. I had not been to a dentist in nearly 20 years, and I did the best I could maintaining them. However, I knew I had some issues. 16 cavities total! I knew they were there, but it was still a shock since I pride myself in having a nice smile. What I appreciate most was not being shamed for not having perfect teeth. In fact I was complimented on still having relatively healthy gums. I had a lot of work done to fix my teeth. It was definitely a hefty price even with dental insurance, but I was allowed to make payments, so that helped. Plus, it is well worth it because it is my health, and I’m no longer suffering from severe tooth pain. Now that my teeth are fixed, I’ll definitely be coming in for my regular cleanings and check ups. It was a matter of getting past that anxiety of returning to the dentist, and the experience at Dr. Gentry’s office helped ease that. Thank you!

Dr. Gentry has been my Dentist for the last 3 years and I’ve had nothing but positive experience. They always use state of the art technology and is always willing to work around my schedule. The positive experiences with Dr. Gentry has led me to do a plethora of dental work with them. My mouth has gotten a long way since my first visit. Their entire staff is professional and treats their patients with a lot of care. The facility is conveniently located in the middle of the city and is kept clean. Dr. Gentry has light hands and ensures that you feel comfortable at all times; whether you’re getting a filling done or something more major. Dr. Gentry has gotten my dental hygiene in a great place where I only need to come in for maintenance. Thanks Dr. Gentry and Staff!

My experience here was great! I found this office to be exactly what I was looking for. What a journey it’s been to get that smile I always dreamed of and Dr.Gentry made it possible for me. She explained several options to choose from. The office staff is very friendly and professional they go way above and beyond. If you’re looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Gentry Best Dentist ever she gave me my confidence to smile again.!

Been a patient ever since I moved to SF. Was referred by my roommate. Haven’t even thought about switching dentists! Everyone at Gentry is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They explain every procedure to you to make sure you understand what you’re getting yourself into. Never been a fan of going to the dentist but this place makes me feel comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks!

I’ve been going to Dr. Gentry for a couple of years now and highly recommend her! She and her staff are always friendly and incredibly accommodating. Dr. Gentry is very trustworthy and shies away from unnecessary dental work, which is refreshing. I also got my Invisalign done through her as well and it’s been a great experience.

The price is admittedly a bit on the pricier end (perhaps not for the city) but the quality of service at Gentry dentistry is second to none. I’ve had several fillings and crowns done by Dr. Gentry and they all came out great. In particular, I want to praise the honest way in which business is conducted here. When I had my crown procedure, there was some kind of a mishap with my dental insurance and I received a harrowing letter saying my claim was rejected. Fretting that I would be liable for the entire cost, I inquired the office immediately. Eric, the office manager, then warmly assured me that they would take care of the subject amount regardless of the repeal outcome and that I have nothing to worry about. As someone who loses sleep over the trustworthiness of medical/dental business, I can fullheartedly put my trust in Dr. Gentry. All terms will be explained and clarified upfront. You won’t find yourself blindsided post-surgery by hidden or additional costs that you commonly hear about at some other dental practices.

Thanks to Angela, I experienced the most comprehensive examination, detail-oriented cleaning, and friendly dental service I’ve ever had. Not only did I get a plethora of high resolution digital x-rays (bye, bye film strips) but also color photographs. These images were immediately on display and then discussed with me to understand my own dental health. For the first time ever, I also had measurements done on my gums. The cleaning included ultrasonic, precise manual plaque removal, flossing and a polish, all done with the utmost care and even some lovely humming to the background music. As relaxing as a visit to the dentist can be. Plus there was no rush to the next patient, as the time felt well dedicated to me as the client. Overall, such a positive first impression, I’ve joined as a member, and look forward to my future visits.

Dr. Gentry is hands-down the BEST dentist I’ve ever gone to (I’ve been to some pretty terrible ones in my life). I’ve had to get a crown and some fillings done, and she always takes great care in making sure that you’re comfortable during the procedure. I really can’t recommend her enough (especially if you’re always nervous about going to the dentist like I am).

I recently started going to Gentry Dentistry based on both their Yelp reviews and a friend’s referral. I work near the Ferry Building and it’s a few blocks to get to their office, but, after a few visits, I can say it’s definitely worth it no matter where you are in the city. The office is very modern and nice with art on the wall and good music playing (none of that elevator stuff). All of the equipment looks brand new (my previous dentist had a bunch of archaic looking things) and the chairs are really comfortable. The doctor is super friendly and takes times to explain everything, going into detail with the x-rays and the depth of my gums (I had no idea that was a thing). She’s very gentle and clearly knows what she is doing. The front office is also very friendly and helped me understand my insurance (head’s up, it’s totally different than medical insurance). I’ve been here four times so far for cleanings and fillings. Each experience has been pleasant and painless (even though my cavity did NOT look good on the x-ray, but it’s all fixed now!). I plan to keep going here as long as I can and recommend Gentry Dentistry to all of my friends.
