I went in today due to some tooth pain, I ended up needing some fillings. I’ve always been afraid of the dentist because I’ve had a terrible experience every single time. Dr. Roodzant was very reassuring and he made sure I wasn’t in any pain, which was amazing, I didn’t feel anything the whole procedure! I’m very glad I made the switch to come see him! Thank you so much!

Started going here years ago at the recommendation of a friend. We have recommended him many times since then. The Doctor, Gerry, has magic hands. Good staff and new up to date equipment. The wife broke a tooth couple weeks ago and they made the replacement right there in the office.

I had a dental emergency on a Sunday evening. My tooth was cracked and in my mind was going to fall apart any moment! I left a voice message for the office and thought I’d have to wait until Monday. I got a call right back from Dr. Roodzant. He had my chart up from previous visit, adressed my concerns and put me in the schedule for the next day! I can’t recommend them enough. This office is extremely professional and all the staff are very genuin. They do not scold but educate on things to do or not do when it comes to dental care. I’m so happy I found this place!

I have been to many dentists in my lifetime. I always considered it torture until I found Dr. Roodzant. He is by far THE BEST. The quality of his work and how quickly it is preforms is superb. His office is up on all new techniques. He explains procedures very well. His office is warm and inviting as are his staff.

This review is severely overdue- I been meaning to write this for four years. Dr R and Staff are all very pleasant and amazing. I feel so calm in the office the bedside manner is amazing and non judgemental, very clean, solid environment. I don’t dread going to the dentist and the huge windows and nature surrounding the office makes me even more at ease. I initially came here after being traumatized in 2016 and Dr R heard my concerns and didn’t think I was crazy. Also Dr R’s humor is the best. Thank you Dr and staff once again always a pleasure

I want to take a few minutes and share why I really love Dr. Roodzants office. I could use a dentist closer to home since I have to drive 1/2 hour to his office which can be a huge pain in the “you know what” when your coming from work but here is 1 example of why I prefer to make that drive. I broke a cap this past Saturday and since Monday was labor day I called 1st thing Tuesday and made a late apt for Wed 430P (late cause its impossible to get out of work!) Anyway I went in with a tooth and a metal piece in a bag that was so old Dr. Roody could not even figure out what the heck it was or how it was ever in my mouth (That’s over the border dental work for ya) lol. So unfortunately he could not use the stuff in the bag I saved and said I would have to come back because he needed more time to fix me up “Totally understandable” but I did not want to leave without covering up that hole in my mouth, even if it was in the back! “No offense but I do not live in Laughlin”. I asked Dr. Roody if there was anything he could stick in there and he said unfortunately not. So I said, Ok I will shove a piece of gum in it then. And he was like WHAT! so he grabbed a needle and numbed me up and he and his assistant quickly went to work on me. I don’t even know what all they were doing in there, although Dr. Roody did ask his assistant to pass the Harpoon..ha ha (he thinks he’s funny. lol) Anyway when they finished I had a temporary cap and a sloppy smile, thanks to the numbing! Bottom line is I was SO grateful that Dr. Roody took the extra time so that I could actually smile at work today (again, without looking like I live in Laughlin) He is such a cool dude and his office staff is also great. The Hygienists and the receptionists are very nice. I usually wouldn’t refer to my Dentist as a “cool Dude” but I just saw an old pic of him on their website and he was a total hippie back in the day (oddly I was not surprised.lol) If you do not have a great dentist I totally recommend Dr. Roodzant’s office in LA Mirada. Great experience.  They were able to fit me in on an emergency basis due to severe pain.  I needed a root canal which of course terrified me.  Dr Roodzant was calm and reassuring.  The procedure was completed with no discomfort and I got my permanent crown at the same time.  The office is clean and professional and front desk staff and assistant were amazing. I now have no hesitation going to the dentist. I highly recommend.

Everyone in this office is amazing. I have always been nervous coming to the dentist. However, they make you feel welcomed and all their staff is kind. They take the time to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. I’m glad I came here and strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist office.

I have had a phobia of dentists since I was a kid. Now I’m adult I still don’t like to go, but it’s a necessity. Dr. Roodzant and his staff make it somewhat enjoyable. He is nice, approachable, and knowledgeable. His staff is great and my wait time is usually pretty low. I don’t like going but since I HAVE too this place is very good.

I’m not the best dental patient but then again until yesterday I never went to this dental office before. It’s definitely the coziest dental office you’ll experience. Doctor Roodzant is an experienced dentist with excellent communication skills. Not one person on his staff made me feel any worse than I already do about the work they’ll have to redo I had done to in Tijuana, “to save money.” Normally I turn down cleanings because my teeth a very tight and the process is far too painful. My dental hygienist was so delicate, with the aide of a mouth prop I was able to accidentally nap more than once during my cleaning. My choppers have never looked so clean! This was by far the best experience I’ve had at a dentist. I’m about to turn 50. Because of all of the above and because they’re not “pushy”, I finally found a dentist office I can gladly go to for regularly scheduled check up. My wife thanks you! I nightly recommend this dentist.

My teeth are very sensitive and therefore over the years I have developed a fear of dentists because dental work is a very painful process for me. Dr. Roodzant was very gentle and allowed the additional time and shots necessary to be sure I was really numb before proceeding with the work. The fillings were in a difficult to access spot and they turned out beautifully. The hygienist on an earlier appointment was also very accommodating working around my sensitive to cold teeth. I’m actually looking forward to going back for my next cleaning – also a first. Definitely recommend him.

After going to numerous dentists, I finally found one who truly cares.  My mouth was full of metal crowns.  I now have beautiful white porcelain teeth throughout.  No more bleeding gums.  My teeth are now the best part of my body.  I’ve going to Dr. Roodzant for 10 years.  I just referred my son who broke his front tooth.  I called late Saturday at his alternate number and was surprised that he came to the phone.  He scheduled an appointment for 9:00 Monday to see my son.  The cosmetic work of this dentist is truly first class.

My Wife and I have been going to Dr. Roodzant for years. In our opinion he and his staff are as good as it gets. When we walk in we are greeted by name by office Manager Jennifer, and it is rare to have to wait. Hygienists are the front line of any dentists office and Maria and Lisa are both great at not only their jobs as hygienists, but also as our dental conscience ALWAYS reminding us to brush and floss and how to do it. Now on to the main Event, Dr. Roodzant. Over the years I have been to a lot of dentists and am very grateful that my wife found this one, who will hopefully be our last (Live Long Dr. Roodzant). The current state of dental technology is amazing and Dr. Roodzant has it all. I recently had a crown replaced and the new crown was made right in the office and there was no need for a temporary and second visit. The whole process was pain free. My comfort is always a priority to the staff I can tell because they always ask. If this review sounds like a commercial, it should. It is rare to find someone, even in the medical profession, who really cares about what they do and how they do it. His standards are high, and it shows and I am glad they are high. I also have called on a holiday and had Dr. Roodzant personally answer the phone. I would recommend Dr. Roodzant to anyone.

Dr. Roodzant has literally cured my dental phobia! I used to cry every time I went to the dentist…I had been experiencing severe pain for years and my previous dentist could not figure out what was causing it…i went to Dr. Roodzant after my friend referred me and walked out of there pain free…he is nice, compassionate, and takes the time to explain what he is doing which definitely puts my nerves at ease…he is amazing!

Best you could ask for in a dentists. Wonderful and caring staff, modern office with all the technological bells and whistles I have recommend family, friends, my own staff and clients to Dr. Roodzant for a number of years with only positive feed back.

Our family has been coming to Dr. Roodzant’s Office for at least 10 years now! He and his staff are amazing, friendly and ALWAYS on time!! (which is a plus for our family with three kids!). The office is immaculate. Dr. Roodzant is a kind and caring dentist, funny and compassionate. He is always up to date with the latest technology. Highly highly recommended!

Love this place. Been a couple times now and the experience is top notch. The office is clean and modern which is a huge plus for me. They even have a 3D tooth printer! Got to see it in action today. Very awesome. The hygienist even took the time to explain to me how it works and showed me a tooth it made when I showed interest. The hygienists are awesome and very friendly. They make you feel welcome. Dr. Roodzant is friendly and personable. If you joke with him, he jokes right back. He’s also very skilled. Had to replace a bad filling and it barely hurt at all. I’m a big baby when it comes to tooth pain so take that with a grain of salt. I will recommend Rooszant Dentistry to anyone who asks.

I will never be fearful of the dentist again! I had an emergency with a broken tooth today and I was so nervous to get that tooth pulled but it was literally painless and I was in and out faster than I thought possible. Highly recommend Dr. Roodzant and his amazing staff!

These guys are awesome! I broke a tooth on Tuesday the 2nd of August and called to schedule for the next day @ 3:00. These guys were able to address the issue by building me a crown on the spot in house and getting me back on the road painlessly in under 2 hours. I highly recommend these guys. Dr. Roodzant does an excellent job at explaining the situation and is a real craftsman with an premium skillset!

Dr. Roodzant is a great dentist who keeps you informed of how your teeth are doing and what you need to do to take care of them and keep them white and clean. All dental hygienists (Maria, Lisa and the others) I’ve had were very friendly and gave me great advice on dental hygiene (brushing, flossing, etc.) and how I should be taking better care of my teeth. I’ve missed going to the dentist for a while and I had to do some deep cleanings that I didn’t anticipate but it wasn’t that bad at all. They make sure you’re very comfortable and get all of the tartar and plaque out so your teeth can be clean and white again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good, honest dentist who has a staff who all care about their patients.

My mom goes to Dr. Roodzant and referred me. She told me that he is the best dentist! I needed an appointment for a loose filling and they told me they could squeeze me in same day. I don’t have insurance so I was dreading the worst. The cost was reasonable and the procedure was painless. Dr. Roodzant is quite the character and had me feeling comfortable and laughing. I’m so happy to have found him. The ladies in the office and the hygienist Rose were all super nice and sweet.

I was unfortunately a victim to a very bad dental situation that was nearly labeled as torture, and as a result, I spent almost a decade with an absolute disdain and fear and penchant toward violence against any that would hurt me. I came to visit Dr. Roodzant and his staff, and from the moment I came into the room, mind you terrified, Dr. Roodzant and his staff put my mind at ease with a plan to establish a significant treatment plan, and after 3 visits with significant work performed, I have reached the point where not only do I not dear coming in, but am very happy to visit Dr. Roodzant and his staff! We have a very long way to go in order to get me where I need to be, but he is completely responsible for a major change and my mental frame of mind. Cathleen, one of this RDAs, is also an absolute sweetheart and is very friendly to me. It is always a pleasure to be able to talk with her and joke around to alleviate any minuscule nervousness that might still linger. Dr. Roodzant is not only saving my self confidence to where I am not going to be afraid to smile again eventually, but he is also sincerely saving my life. I owe more than I could ever imagine to him for this gift of a very blessed second chance to boost my self esteem and more important, my health! Please, if you have an absolute horrible fear, you will find no better place to lose this fear. I feel like I have made a whole office of new friends.

I’m not too fond of the dentist but the people who work here really know how to make their patients feel comfortable! They are super affordable and not too far from where i work. I recently got a root canal done & i was honestly TERRIFIED, but Dr. Roodzant knew how to make sure i was calm so that way everything could be done right. I truly appreciate the people who work here. I will be returning and i highly recommend them!

I have been going to Doc Roodzant for over 20 years. All the hygienist are excellent. Every time I go, I feel like I am catching up with old family – From Doc, Maria, Lisa, and Jenn. I know this sounds weird of looking forward to going to the dentist, but if you go regularly – you should have no fear! I highly recommend this team!

The front office is excellent!  They know your name and are very professional. The hygienists are all excellent. They take the time to go over your issues (I had a few…) and explain how to overcome them. Dr. Roodzant is an excellent dentist. I’ve had horrible experiences when I was a child regarding dental visits. Dr. Roodzant has restored my faith in dentistry.

Have been coming here for the last 15 years. Always busy but its because they are so friendly and are so good. I look forward to coming in and getting my teeth cleaned by Lisa, and Jennifer the receptionist/manager is always upbeat and does the best job! Our family drives over 20 miles only because we trust them with our teeth and their cleanliness is over and above! Thank you Dr. Roodzant and staff!

I hadn’t been to a dentist in quite a few years before hearing about Dr. Roodzant from a friend. Even though I was ashamed of how long it had been, he and his entire staff were non-judgmental and so kind. Since that initial visit, I go back regularly twice a year. I’ve had a couple minor things done other than teeth cleaning, and all of it has been painless and helpful. I don’t know anyone who loves going to the dentist, but this is definitely the place to go to feel welcomed and as comfortable as possible!

I love coming to this office. I have had such terrible experiences with past dentist offices and once I found Dr. Roodzant’s office, I knew I found my dentist home. It is worth the hour drive for me. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The office is organized and great at communicating. The hygienists are given a longer allotted time than most other dentist offices to clean your teeth so you get a good teeth cleaning. Dr. Roodzant is clear and precise about what you need and why and when, or if you don’t need anything at all. He doesn’t try to nickel and dime you with unnecessary procedures. For instance, he would like to fill one of my molars but he said we could just do that when I come in for my next teeth cleaning. No special trip needed. I also liked that they don’t scold you for not flossing, etc. They will stress that it is important and will give advice for which of your teeth/area to really concentrate on, and will show you the best techniques of flossing if you ask, which is exactly what I need to hear. Before coming here it had been a long time since I was last at the dentist….a LONG time but now I go every 6 months for cleaning!

On Wednesday at about 5:00 P.M., I crashed on my mountain bike. As a result, I knocked out one of my front teeth. Although the time was well after regular business hours, I called Dr. Roodzant’s after hours phone number. To my surprise he answered the phone. I certainly didn’t expect this from someone in the healthcare field. Although I was in a panic he put my mind at ease, and set up an appointment for the next day. I arrived at 10:30 A.M., and I was in a dental chair by 10:40 A.M. To make a long, painful, toothless story short, I was out in no time with a new crown. Great job! No more whistling when I pronounce any words with the letter S. My family, numerous friends and I have been going to Dr. Roodzant for about 12 years now. In that time we have been nothing but satisfied with him and his office staff. I give him two teeth up! As far as the review by Irving, G., I find it hard to believe that he would have experienced anything but satisfaction with Dr. Roodzant. His review of this dentist is completely foreign to me. This is not the Dr. Roodzant that we know. Oh well, you can’t please everyone.
