Dr. Ginger Hansen has been my dentist for a while, and I could not be happier with her dental services. She is extremely competent and so very pleasant, and her entire staff is warm, attentive and “babies” reluctant patients like me.Today, however, they all outdid themselves. I broke a tooth and was in pain. So last night I left an emergency call for their offices; and this morning in speaking to Dr. Hansen I learned that today was her day off, her car was in the shop, and her office was closed. I offered to find another dentist just for this one time, but Dr. Hansen would not hear of it; and as soon as she got her car back she and her dental assistant Andrea met me at her office to fix my tooth which was another amazing thing because my old cavity was so big she had to almost rebuilt the entire tooth. She did it, too, and that I am grateful to her and her wonderful staff. In Dr. Hansen’s office people get great dental care, and staff makes you feel like you are among friends. Thanks to all of you. Okay so I’m going to be honest with you…I wasn’t a fan of dentists because of their fees (dental fees are actually much higher than my fees as an experienced physician) but I’m not afraid of dentists either. I personally never really needed any dental work except cleanings. Well maybe I need to clarify further with the one tiny exception for having all 4 wisdom teeth extracted all at once as a kid a very-very -very long time ago when dentists still worked out of their homes and used pliers and a foot on the back of your headrest for leverage, I never understood why people feared dentists or why dental fees needed to be so high. I admit I’ve been magically blessed without any cavities or dental concerns…until yesterday. I chipped my front tooth on a glass water bottle and suddenly realized that gap wasn’t “a look I was going to be okay with”. The Christmas song kept playing in my head overnight “all I want for Christmas is my front tooth fixed”. I knew I needed to do something quickly or I wasn’t going to be smiling for any photos anytime soon. So while I’ve only had the pleasure and pain of paying for my family dental bills I’ve managed to keep my own personal dental costs down. But today I would’ve paid anything to not look toothless. We called, got in with an emergency squeeze in visit and Dr. Hansen and staff promptly and cheerfully got to work. Her work is meticulous and it was clear her years of experience paid off in my favor. I couldn’t believe how perfect my tooth looks. Her staff are kind and sweet and I couldn’t help but notice they also had great looking smiles I’m told due to Dr. Hansen’s excellent work too! My bill was surprisingly reasonable even with the emergency fee! My whole family has had major dental issues and had major dental fears and many painful dental stories until Dr. Hansen.They’ve all been loyal patients of hers for many years and told me they never had a dentist like her who does great work on them without pain and great results. I now finally and humbly understand. Thank you Elissa, Maria and of course Dr. Hansen not only for the outstanding work but a big reminder “you get what you pay for”! Now that my office is just a few blocks away I won’t hesitate to recommend you to all my patients and no excuse for putting off my routine dental cleaning done properly by you.

So I was petrified of the Dentist due to past experiences. I had an appointment with Dr Hansen yesterday 3/14/2019. It was my best experience ever with a dentist in my 49 yrs. Dr Hansen and her staff explained everything to me and walked me through the process step by step during my procedure. OMG did I mention I did not feel anything .. NO PAIN !!! I have had fillings previously with other dentist where I always stop for time out, I thought pain was the norm at the dentist even with anesthetic. Dr Hansen changed that yesterday, she is very gentle, and caring . I cannot stop bragging about her and her staff. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the best dental experience.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Hansen since we first moved here in 1987! Ginger is honestly like family! Due to insurance issues I had to see other dentists in the community for a few years and none of them have the honesty or the touch of Dr. Hansen. She is an expert in her field and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with her results. My teeth are difficult to match color wise, and the crown she just did is perfect! She “babies” those with fears of seeing the dentist. She doesn’t push unnecessary products and genuinely cares about her patients. If you want authentic and honest, go see Dr. Hansen in Vista.

She is very honest and trustworthy! I went to a different dentist who said I had a cavity and that I needed to fill the cavity. But, Dr. Hansen performed a much more in-depth way of determining if it was a cavity or not and she eventually realized through utilizing different dental procedures (including shining a laser inside my mouth that can determine the density inside of a tooth) that it was NOT a cavity. So I am very grateful for honesty regarding this! BTW the first time I saw her was over a decade ago and I think she is very good and I never told her that I use yelp.com either. She is very nice and I think she is a genuinely good person.
