I have to say, I’m terrified of dentists. I went to Dr. Lim with fear, not only because he’s a dentist, but because I knew there was something wrong with a few of my teeth. I can’t emphasize how great my visit was. The staff treated me like family, and Dr. Lim made sure I understood everything that I needed, every detail. I have never felt this way with a dentist before. I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs a dentist, because for the first time in my life, I’m not afraid anymore. My teeth were fixed and THERE WAS NO PAIN! I wish I had found him 10 years ago!

Glenlake Dental Care is a wonderful dental practice. Everyone that I’ve encountered at Glenlake has been so professional and accommodating. I have a large family and they are always so helpful in fitting in all the appointments around the same time. I feel that we are getting a very thorough check up/service. I DON’T ever feel that they are trying to make up dental issues just to bring in money and I never feel pressured into any services that might be recommended. There was a time my insurance changed and we had to switch dentists for a year and I was so sad to leave the practice and disappointed with another dentist we had to use. We were able to switch back to Glenlake and I’m so ecstatic that we are back with this dental practice. I highly recommend Glenlake Dental Care!

I have seen Dr. Lim for several years now and been a patient of Glenlake Dental for 20 years.  They have all the necessary specialists as well as general dentistry.  Dr. Lim is very patient and answers all questions along with being concerned about my #1 fear, a painful experience.  I have NEVER had a bad experience here and it’s all been painfree while procedures are being done.

Went in as a new patient to get a composite filling replaced (it had popped off). Was able to get an appointment the next day, pre-fill registration forms before arriving, was greeted and brought in promptly, and was in and out in 30 minutes with them taking care of all insurance related things. You can also book online through their site apparently, which appeals to me. Dr Lim and his staff were nice, personable, and efficient. Will be recommending to my husband that he move to them as well.

I give this place high ratings for Covid 19 cleaningness and prevention. My family and I switched to this practice more than two years ago. Having various services such as dental cleaning and occasional cavity work we never had an issue with any of their services. Since the beginning of pandemic I felt apprehensive about going to the dentist. Having an emergency rooth canal, I had to go here for the crown work. Though I was worried about going in, after seeing their prevention protocols, I felt v comfortable. They follow CDC reccomandations and go beyond with preventive measures. If you are like me, having Covid 19 anxiety but need a dentist, this is the place to go.

I’ve been going to Glenlake Dental for years. All of the staff is super helpful and willing to do what they can to make the experience great. Dr. Lim is wonderful and such a great dentist. Katie Miller has been the dental hygienist I’ve seen a number of times and she is phenomenal. She gave me more information and patient education during my last dental cleaning than I have had collectively from anyone else. I highly recommend her, Dr. Lim and this practice. Thank you guys for everything : )

What a delightful experience to meet the dedicated team at Glenlake Dental Care in Glenview, IL.  Dr. Eric Lim is a honest, straightforward professional.  I appreciate how he takes time to answer all my questions.  Dr. Lim has mastered repair and bonding of my aging teeth.  Of course, he couldn’t perfect his work, without the awesome assistance of Vonya.  Dr. Lim and Vonya work incredibly harmonious together!  Katie, is my dental hygienist.  She is lively, enthusiastic and enjoys getting to know you.  She will zero in on what areas you can better brush, and will educate you for at home care.  A day at Glenlake is not complete unless you’ve met Tamara, who helps with appointments, dental treatment plans and financing.  Tamara’s Loveliness is like a fresh bouget of flowers!  I am humbled and grateful to be Glenlake Dental Care’s patient.

I’ve been going to Glenlake Dental since 2000, so this review is looong overdue. The doctors here are highly skilled and caring. I’m very afraid of needles and probably one of the worst patients a Dr. can encounter. Yet, Dr. Lim has the patience of a saint. I hardly feel the shot, as he does it very, very slow and takes a lot of time to numb me. I didn’t commit to the full recommended treatment plan they gave me, but I do it at my own pace. I feel more comfortable this way. I read other patients’ reviews here and it’s surprising to me. No one ever pressured me to get work done. Yes, they insist on the BEST possible options for you but never coerced me. As far as the quality of their work, there are not many that come close! I moved to New York a few years back and hesitantly went to 5 different dentists in NY. I regretted each and every visit! The fillings weren’t polished enough, the floss gets ripped by jagged edges of the fillings, some even discolored after just 2 months, some of the equipment looked dirty etc. For example, the light handles that NY Dr. was pulling toward my mouth with the glove that was going into my mouth, were covered by blue sticky plastic that wasn’t replaced after each patient! Disgusting! I guess am spoiled by Glenlake’s Dental sterilizing procedures… I’ve see the assistants here clean a room after me and every inch was wiped down, including UNDER those disposable lamp handle covers. So when I see cheaper prices at another practice, I now know where they are cutting corners – my safety and quality of the material! It costs money to have the best materials and high sterilizing standards. My decision is to come for my dental work here, whenever I visit my friends and family in Chicago.
